You need to build next project with best product : SLAB MASTER FORM by ISO-SLAB , no bracing,no backfill before concrete pourring and better installation with easy concrete elevation adjustment.

Good call on the pass through laundry door. I am still designing the layout of our toe tag home. That is my plan also. My WIC of the Master BR shares a common wall with the utility room. I look at is when my wife and I are 80, trying to lug around a hamper of clothes wont be very doable. Make the pass through the same height as the folding table in the laundry room. This way it cuts down on bending and lifting. You seem like a younger guy(30-40), plan for 36" interior doors for wheelchair access. Maybe 42" surrounding the island for access. If you think this will be your forever home (Toe tag).

I'm pushing 40 very soon. I was hoping by the time I'm in a wheelchair we would have antigravity hoverchairs!

Thank you for doing this video series, I am looking at doing the same foundation in New Hampshire but didn’t know where to begin until I came across your channel.

I love the L / T shape slab house. We break ground on my slab house and I'm learning alot from your videos.
      Thank you for posting.
Where did you get your ez mono forms? Those are a great idea I want to incorporate in my build. I love your attention to the small details.

Looks really good, I’m 21, a 3rd year apprentice service plumber trying to get into this type of new construction, heat designing once I get my ticket. I live in British Columbia Canada, and BCIT, offers a Hydronic Heating program which I may take, but I’m interested to get into the field and work on these types of new/custom homes the most. Any suggestions on how to get started or prepare? I’m in service right now and really enjoy it. Just thinking of the next steps.

Everyone has a different story of how they got to where they are. Mine is not conventional or typical. If there's something you want go get it. Grab life by th $%&=*@ and make it what you want!

Looks great, not to nit pick your work but running romex through pvc under slab is not up to code, UF is correct. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for catching that. I can pull through some UF no problem.
