The problem I'm encountering with cards these days are they (1) restrict you to redeeming $25 or more or even in $25 increments, (2) force you to get a checking account with them to redeem for cash, (3) they can take a surprisingly long time to send you the money you've earned.
Since you mentioned the US Bank Altitude Reserve, I am surprised you did not mention the Kroger Rewards World Elite Mastercard. It earns 5% Cash back on mobile wallet purchases for the first $3,000 per calendar year, then 1% thereafter.
The only one I have that SORTA is in this category is the Apple Card, I just wish they’d increase that god awful 1% with physical card to 1.5% at LEAST
Lots of great options here! But my preference is with Bank of America, specifically with Platinum tier or above. The multipliers are amazing with their card lineup at that level.
@@moneyhost exactly! You earned that $2202 last year just at 1.5% cash back? Your earnings would’ve been higher if you had a 2% on everything card right?
@@manojreddy123 I got actually earnings 2202 from this card at 2.62%. I have a brokerage account with BoA's Merrill Lynch with $100k, which qualified me to get 75% multiplier on the 1.5%. I earned total of over $6500 in cash backs and points in 2021. I made a video about it on my channel.
Great video! X1 card deserves a mention here. If you spend more than $15000 on this card in a year, you get unlimited 3x points on all purchases in that year. On referrals, you get 4x back for a month!
I absolutely loved this video. I am excited for the day when I have that much money invested as I could be earning even higher cash back with that company loyalty with either BofA or Fidelity. I do wish they would make the Fidelity card look a bit more higher end, however.
I have been waiting for the Save Wealth Premium Card reviews for so long now. Does anyone have it yet? Only you and Dayton Millers channels mention the card on UA-cam but it seems that nobody has gotten a physical usable card yet to give their first hand experience with it. Like there are so many questions I have for it like where the investable funds come from and at what rate they are borrowed. If the potential 6% return is 1 year from a purchase date or is this one year based on our card anniversary date?
The Fidelity card is somewhat enticing since I do prefer their financial product offerings over other brokerages. And while I do appreciate the simplicity of cash back … I see more value from points with citi trifecta or chase trifecta. The Coinbase card is compelling with 4% but wtf are Graph and Lumens? Is there an option to auto convert to usd or stablecoin? If I have to manually convert them it’s no longer the “simple” option and I may as well go for points which is effectively what those cryptos are to me anyway. Lastly, customer service, benefits, and purchase protection is what I care about most. So I couldn’t bring myself to use any of these. Not worth the hassle.
I thought that alliant card might have added an annual fee as well...counbase debit card appears cool But the save wealth card...almost...but can't...26k income
I was planning on applying for the save wealth credit card but one concern I thought of; if I cashed out on the investment by the end of the year, would I owe tax on that amount? if so, maybe 2% cashback is more beneficial
Your tax would be long term capital gains, since you held for a year. That is how they designed it. So 0, 15, or 20% depending on how much you earn and if you are married or not
Alliant is 2.5% so no way. All they ask is to open a bank account? Easy Really the question is between the alliant and the wells fargo card since both are better than the citi double cash. Wells fargo has rotating benefits as well as the 2% cb but do you value the .5% more than rotating benefits? I know i do
The Discover It Miles Credit Card earns 3% back the first year. The Santander Ultimate Cash Back Credit Card earns 3% cash back on qualified purchases for the first 12 months, up to $20,000. Thereafter, earn unlimited 1.5% cash back on qualified purchases. The Sofi Credit Card earns 3% cash back for the first year with qualifying direct deposits on up to $12,000 in spend ($360 cash back).
yes they do, but since you have to hold for a year, your earnings will only be subject to long term capital gains rates of 0, 15 or 20% depending on your overall income. If you are married filing jointly you pay 0% if you earn less than $80k a year, which is a lot of people
If you're stuck deciding between cash back or travel then the chase freedom unlimited is a good choice.
Timestamps on the video would be really helpful.

Awesome topic about a type of card many people should have 👍
I would suggest,ALL people should have considering theres typically no annual fee. Doesnt matter if you’re after points or not.

Will we ever see a flat 4% card?
Not flat 4% without other restrictions, e.g. high annual fee, linked to stocks (like save), capped spending etc
