Not for me after I had my test ride from Sycamores...Too tall for my little legs...Too heavy & too expensive. I'll stick to my 1250RS and see what they do with the 1300RS version...maybe we will get the backlit switch gear this time.
@@mikedignum1868 I’m with you on the cost for sure. Bike prices are just going totally nuts! Your 1250RS is an amazing machine and to be honest, you can do everything you’ll ever need on that. I’m also interested to see what the 1300 R and RS models look like when they come out. Thanks for watching, and for taking the time to comment with your thoughts and experience. All the best and Ride Safe!
Hi Tony, in a word, YES!! It’s the top of the line in comfort and security. Just a shame they don’t put a good enough screen on it out of the box otherwise it would be a 10/10 from me. Thansk for viewing and if you have anymore questions just ask. All the best….
Hi J, I am in no doubt that BMW has certain reliability issues and no doubt from what you have said you are also. This is just a first ride / first impressions review and definitely could not confirm or deny reliability of this bike as it’s a brand new model from the ground up. Not sure if you ever watch the channel ‘ nothing to prove’ but that guy bought a 1300 GS and had a lot of issues. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. All the best….
Hi Magic, I understand this bike will split people much like the GS1300 as these are totally different bikes now. All I would say is see it in the flesh. During my bike walk around recording a chap living close to where I was walked over to see the bike. I think he was won over a little bit by seeing it in real life. I love the 1250 GS / GSA and definitely would be split between the 1300 and 1250 if I had the cash! Thanks for viewing and giving your opinion, it’s what this is all about. All the best.
Hi Carlo, definitely on that day! Just could not find the right position to kick up in the right way but of course there is adjustment in the pegs and gear shifter so could make them closer together. I rode the Duke 990 earlier this week and the position on that bike was very close so no issue at all. I think the bigger engine bikes are maybe set up with more travel.., thanks for watching and all the best…

Is this the BMW gold wing?

Please don't conflate BMW and reliability.

Looks like the end of the road for me. No more BMW's. It's been fun!

I gues using gears is not your thing...
