TBH you don't need to trick little kids, they're excited to be allowed to do and try new things. My daughter loves vacuuming and mopping and sweeping. The trick is to not treat it like a chore.
That filter is actually the best part, thats smart engineering right there! Without it who knows how much hair and dirt and crap youd end up mixing with your legos? Honestly, i would say repurpose your sorting machine to JUST be a sorting machine. Instead of having a vacuum have a sort of vibrating system to constantly jostle the pieces encouraging the pieces to fall to the lower areas if they can fit! Have the specialized lego vacuum with the filter to get the pieces en masse, then feed them through the sorter.
@@perejilseven1769 idk do I look like a Vacuum Scientist to you? To answer your question I am, I got my PhD in vacuuming 13 years ago. It’s quite simple add something thin so only the dirt can go through.
I think yours is more comprehensive but I think it could be slightly improved if you put a device on the tank to vibrate it a little bit. Thus helping with sorting and getting the bricks to actually fall down each level
Or just use a bed sheet. Pour all the Legos onto the sheet. Play. When cleanup comes, fold the bedsheet until the Legos are all in the middle. Pick up sheet. Dump back into storage. The end.

That's an amazing product. If yours has a sorting feature it's def the superior item. Without the sorting feature?... I have always just thought it's smart to keep a dedicated broom and lobby style dustpan in the toy room for small toys like Lego. You need a really stiff bristled broom. Anyway it's only for gathering and clearing the floor...it may be a good halfstep when you need quick progress. Then you have to put things away where they go. I'm also a big fan of play mats for tiny toys. Get yourself some cheap nylon fabric a few feet across, sew a drawstring around the edges with a loop to hang it from a hook. The toys go inside it and stay inside it, that's really the only rule! When you want to play open it up. Bigger kids sit around it, babies and toddlers can sit on it with their (age appropriate) toys. When playtime is over cinch it back up. Can have a mat for different kinds of toy collections. Animals, cars, barbie clothes, Legos, food.
This is how moms are going to trick their 5 year olds into vacuuming for them

I love how he doesn’t say that the makers of the Lego brick sucker copied him, he just gave it a genuine review.
There's likely two reasons
1: it may very well have existed prior to his.

You should try connecting some pieces to test if it'll clog the vacuum
I think yours is more comprehensive but I think it could be slightly improved if you put a device on the tank to vibrate it a little bit. Thus helping with sorting and getting the bricks to actually fall down each level
if the one using it is moving around, they probably don't need the vibrating part, because it will sort itself when it moves around
Could probably just make the impeller slightly unbalanced so it vibrates as it spins
