I actually really liked T4, they tried something different as you said, and it was dark and gritty again (as Terminator is supposed too). Sure the characters were not that well written but I really appreciate the mood the Movie has.
I enjoyed this video it is one of your bests also i was in a shop and saw a terminator film which you fidnt mention i cant remember the name of it but i didnt have arnold in it and it wasnt salvation but your video was great
T3 ended up being mostly a parody of the first two films, but there were a few moments here and there where it did do ok, particularly the ending. Salvation was the first post-apocalyptic film and did a lot of good things and others maybe not quite so well. I still like it despite its flaws. After that though they became creatively bankrupt and with Genysis and Dark Fate set about rebooting the franchise in their own directions. Both efforts failed and left the franchise dead in the water. Last I've heard, James Cameron wants to reboot the franchise again. Given he made the choice to kill John Connor in Dark Fate, I'm not convinced he can tell a proper Terminator story anymore. The only thing left in this franchise would be to make a TV series adaptation of the Terminator Resistance video game from 2019, set in the post-apocalyptic future but linked to the first two films.
17:58 I did hear about this rumour... I was hoping that it would be false and yet here we are. But to think that James Cameron sat down and thought "hmm you know what audiences need? Another Terminator movie." is absolutely ridiculous, I hope Terminator 7 never sees the light of day and if it does then I will never pay to see it because I refuse to support franchises which should have concluded more than 20 years ago.
Although T2 is a stylish and well-made movie, the T-1000 is just too unrealistic to me. I associate its transformations with Harry Potter, not a cyborg from the future. If it was in its ‘Silver Surfer’ form for the whole movie, that would be an improvement, I might be able to appreciate that. Also, on a more general note, the naked time travel is just unnecessary. Just have them keep their clothes on...
Wait WHAT? What's up with that alternate ending with old john and sarah? I grew up with this movie saw it a million times, I know how it ends... some special edition or something?
What really happened is that people got rired of them making every movie with the same plot over again. I believe that people wanna see the actual future fight already in a trilogy or something
Thank you for this video 🙏🏻 it’s a shame that woke system had to come to the terminator franchise, lucky though the real terminator started in 1984 and ended in 1997 when Sarah grow old and happy and John Connor became a successful businessman and father, that’s the ending I chose to finish the franchise with T1 and T2 only.
T3 was when i realized that sequels are not always good, actually the opposite. After been used to T2, aliens, predators, Shrek 2, lethal weapon 2, back to the future 2 and 3, kill Bill 2, blade 2 etc. I was mistakenly sure that a sequel had to be good just by merely existing. After finishing T3 i probably never expected a sequel to be good on cinema. And T3 is not even that bad.
I loved this series up until the end of Salvation at which point they abandoned the overarching story I had been watching the last 30 or so years and decided to start doing crappy reboots thereby robbing me and everyone like me of the opportunity of seeing the story play out over time
I didnt think TERMINATOR 3 was so bad ESPECIALLY compared to what followed, a female Robot made a change although Loken played it for temper & tried too hard in torture scenes at times, I also liked the...Adam & Eve base pair ending in the vault, similar to how PLANET OF APES concluded. TERMINATOR SALVATION - the ONLY Terminator in the "FRANCHISE" to go the all out war plot & do something different than a chase sci fi road film (although there are the obvious comparisons with MAD MAX in the visual & feel)but suffered from the watering down to pull in a wider audience and only a cgi cameo from Schwarzeneggar the film lacking in humour as well it's interesting & disappointing how sequels/prequels & "re-imaginings" tend to suffer the same problems in all film franchises, some being weak tea remakes, others becoming too big relying on flashy fx and drawn out action set pieces, these are the common denominators.
James Cameron really raised the bar with the terminator fr fr. subbed...... For some reason salvation always has been a legacy third movie for me. screw timeline n shit, a cyborg was so dope
The only 2 good terminator movies are T1 and T3. Everything else is a massive stepdown, and that includes the massively overrated T2. As for dark fate being the cannon sequel to T2 and having james camerons involvement im not surprised that the film wasnt good. All of dark fates issues perfectly line up with the dumb ideas that cameron threw way back in T2 dark fate is a respectful sequel to T2's mess of a story and it's dumb ideas.
The O, J Simson stuff is in bad taste, I'm not sure about the accuracy of your information, I heard they wanted ARNIE for Kyle Reece, BUT HE wanted the title character role and of course got it

Terminator Salvation is the only interesting sequel.
i think you should a video " how to fix Terminator " or maybe address each movie with a fix.
A small channel with a decent video, noice.
I enjoyed this video it is one of your bests also i was in a shop and saw a terminator film which you fidnt mention i cant remember the name of it but i didnt have arnold in it and it wasnt salvation but your video was great
Thanks bro I really appreciate your support
Nothing "happened" with Terminator.
There was a grate movie, an even better sequel and NOTHING else happened after that.
The end.

I still haven't seen Dark Fate to this day.
I refuse to give it my time.
I was already content not seeing dark fate but after your description of it, I'm endlessly happy that I skipped it!
Nice video review ✅😎
You need a better mic, pal
Wait WHAT? What's up with that alternate ending with old john and sarah? I grew up with this movie saw it a million times, I know how it ends... some special edition or something?
Yeah I know crazy right and I believe it was special edition yeah

No. OJ was never the original choice. That was Lance Henrikson, because the Terminator should blend in.
I really enjoy Genesys, is some new and different.
T1 & 2 are both perfect, T4 was actually great too i just felt they ruined a big part of the movie by revealing Marcus as a cyborg in the trailer

What up my Brits. Shout out from the land of the free 🇺🇸🇬🇧
The ONLY way Emilia would’ve worked is if the 1st movie was made in 2015

Brilliant! Summed up what I loved about the first 2 and everything I’ve hated about the others! They don’t exist in my world 😂
The O, J Simson stuff is in bad taste,

haha yikes
Emilia Clarke is one of the worst actors working today.
T3 and last terminator are garbage
