2024 Acadia Infotainment Bugs and how to fix

A Short video showing the 2024 Acadia 15-inch infotainment system and how it bugs out, locks up where there is nothing on the screen, and the tray icons no longer function. Turning on and off the car does not fix the issue. I also show how to fix this issue on the fly. I hope GMC fixes this bug in an over-the-air update sooner than later!

When we are listening to the radio (sirius) the phone interrupts the music for no reason. There isn't a text or any kind of notification on the phone. I am beginning to think it is picking up interference while in traffic.

Is this the first year for this infotainment system in the Acadia?

Unfortunately, I believe that it is. At least for the new layout with a 15 inch screen. I think they have had the google ran infotainment software for a couple of years, but the 2024 Acadia is an all new, 15 inch screen with an 11 inch driver screen that tie info together with car play, android auto, google assistant built in. etc.... This video is more for awareness, i know they will have issues, just want awareness so maybe they pursue fixing these specific bugs sooner than later. :-)
