You came into my feed. I enjoyed the video and subbed. My wife has a 2005 Corolla with over 300k kms. I have a 2000 Buick Lesabre Custom with 216k kms and a 2023 Nissan Frontier Pro 4x. All reliable, easy to work on.
I bought a 2006 out of a junkyard that needed rockers and a timing belt to use for a offroad toy. I actually enjoy working on it for the most part. I did the valves, head gasket, rockers, belt, water pump, etc by myself in the garage. They certainly require some awareness and technical ability, but man are they a capable vehicle if you know what you're getting into! Now it's our daily family vehicle.
I’ve always told people that if you can learn and understand how something is supposed to work, you can fix it when it fails. I have one of these Jeeps, a spitting image of your black one. It tooks some work and I had to repair some “fixes” but I love that thing. I like your channel, buddy. May the Lord bless it and you and your family.
Great Purchase!! Clean Jeep! They are getting hard to find rust free! I'm on my second 2006 CRD. First one dropped an idler pully at 350k. Anyway that one, if I didn't allow ALL the lights to go off on the dash before starting (or 15 sec.) It would do just as you said that one did to you. Never did it all the time, but would if I just got in it and turned the switch and went. Bought it at 95k and I never did figure that quirk out. BTW. Great information! Great Channel!
I went from MI to FL had 2 fuel injectors stick. 60 mile from where I was staying. In Fl. I got a new fuel filter and seafood and filled the filter full of sea foam, straightened out the from orillies, 15 hours from home kinda excited. I have 6 Diesel Jeep Libertys.
@maurosani9005 it sounds like the crank sensor is the issue based on my experience with the CRD. When they go bad, heat can cause them to malfunction. It sits right beside the exhaust on these so overheating after 10 minutes would make sense. 🔧
Hola soy Pablo de Argentina. Me compré una igual a la tuya todo el motor desarmado . Me podrías mostrar en un video como funciona el enfriador de aceite aceite . Ya que por el pico me sale aceite y creo que debería salir refrigerante .
Hope you’ve been well. The oil cooler must have a break in it or the seal went bad. It would be easily replaced with the engine disassembled. I’ll be replacing the oil cooler on mine soon. Video will come out. You can rebuild this engine, no problem.
Good ol diesels can potentially go forever... the old Rockys I love / buy the engines will run over 1m k's dunno what that is in miles but its a lot!! 😂😂 most petty cars will only do 300 or 400 thousand k's
lol even for 39 dollars I would not buy a modern jeep.... free ok but then I know I have to spend more money sorry but your better off with a 90s and down jeep if you want to drive it.... makes good youtube content but that's about it. I got a 2000 ford foucus with a rotten rear subframe for $200 thats all they are worth..... just got a 12 chevy Impala runs and drives very clean still only $1500 and still my 97 corolla I got for free was a better deal LOL!.... sorry but modern cars are worthless to many failure points.
lol. I agree, most cases are, the older, the better. This Jeep is problematic but with the right maintenance and upgrades, it will do great. I’ve got an old Omni in the back 40 that would be reliable, comfortable, and cheap to operate. Love those cars. Have a great Tuesday my friend!
Good girl Crystal!! 🐁 🪤... mine is a good mouser also... saves his mum from roaches also!! Doesn't leave anything lying around though hehe which is the better option!!

Glad you made it home been chasing a dead pedal on my 2002 7.3 F350 finally fixed
Glad to hear you got it figured out, Joe. Always nice to have a well running truck. Nice on the 7.3 as well. 🙂 God bless.

Thank you. Have a great weekend. ☀️

Good job 👍💪😁 I also have a blue KJ, and I think I’ll have to change the fuel filter as well; in fact, it shuts off after 10 minutes
Does it start right back up? Sometimes that issue indicates the crank sensor needs to be replaced.
@@2StallGarage No, it takes another 10 minutes, and then it starts again.

@@2StallGarage I saw it. As soon as I can, I'll replace it and let you know if that was the issue. Thanks for the advice, have a great day 👍.
