GL doesn't want to pay more money for this type of car. Gran Turismo cars demand more money to be licensed vs licensing Bolide. Removal confirmation is December 5th, aka next week (by this comment's post). We going to do Vroomtiplayer with all VGT owners and selfies with it. We will miss it. Vision Gran Turismo is technically a Chiron but built for Gran Turismo races.

This isn't right, I mean, the fact that it's leaving is fine, but the compensation is pitiful. We all love this car and how it looks. The proformence is bad, but I just love the way this thing looks, and I feel the compensation is nice, but I don't think it's nearly enough. I'd say a uu and a master key for class s would be nice, but I'm just really going to miss this beautiful car. But the questions arise...WHY?

The problem has to do with the license of the car. Probably a special one since this is a Bugatti made specifically for the Gran Turismo series of games, so there must be some issue of the license needing expensive renewal
Today Gameloft announced the removal of the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo and we received the compensation for it. This video was recorded some days ago, before we got or even knew what the final compensation was going to be, that's why the speculation about the topic.
The compensation given today was:
* 5000 Tokens
* 20 Class S Direct Upgrades
* 40 Class S Wildcards
* 500k Fusion Coins
My heart was broken, i couldn't play with this car
I'm quitting this wreck of a game, all three of my accounts.
This maneuver was the last drop, I paid real money for the BVGT and this ridiculous "compensation" is a spit in my face after just a short while I gave them real money in their hands.
A cyber spit right between my eyes..
I'm going to check if I can report this behavior to the Swedish Consumer Protection Agency, not because I necessarily need my money back but to see if this business practice Gameloft have implemented is even legal or not in Sweden and the EU. Enough with these scams because scams they are, period.

Ok, I heard what you said but I haven't seen that they've changed the compensations to an UU and an S-class "Master Key", that's the only compensation I would accept and keep playing this game, anything less and I'm taking my money elsewhere and quit this scam!🤬
I didn't receive my compensation I hadn't played the game for a whole month. I logged in today, the car had disappeared from garage. The BVGT discount car also gone. No compensation for the car I bought with my money?.
RUF cars were credits cars before then were change to Token Cars during 2015 or 2016

F indeed. I think the other vision cars are safe, given that they've been in the game for longer and there has been no issue so far. But i imagine this is clear indication that we won't ever get the Lambo Vision
paid real good money to get this car this year and pro it with ultimate upgrade,so they should compensate me with a master key and a ultimate upgrade

I already played with this car in master and now doing in classic. I already got podium with another gran turismo and a centodieci so my plan was already fulfilled. 😊🤤😍I got this car for 10$ during its winter festival of 2021 or 2022 id remember when. I upgraded all the way to pro within the duration of the event. I used and played a lot in gauntlet & mp. It's sad now to see this car go, one of my favorite looking Bugatti after the bolide. Thanks to all the content creators trying to argue about improving the compensation. Now it will be gone on dec.5. this car will be missed and remembered to our hearts. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

For free? That doesn't sound right. When the car came out, it was a premium festival. A cheap one IIRC, but not free. Unless you got it through another method.

I had no idea it was otherwise going to be severely lacking, but for what it's worth, this is as good as it's going to get.
And like you, I hope that this doesn't set a precedent for how other cars might end up if their licenses collapse.
As one of the admins of a big A8 community on Facebook, I also work hard to keep players informed about changes, though without the extra insights of someone on the Content Creators program. So I value your inputs a lot and they are a very refreshing take on things. Gonna miss this beautiful machine too, today is a sad day. Will try and do some farewell racing with it before Nov 5th.

Thanks for the kind words man. I too am both disappointed about the compensation but at the same time, accepting that at least it wasn't "just 2 mil FuCs" and nothing else. I still believe that to make things right for players that paid for the car, more so the people that upgraded it, further compensation was needed.
I'll miss this for sure. It legit is one of my favorites. This game was what convinced me to get the 1:64 "mini GT" replica i got last year.

What are the odds? I just took delivery of a Mini GT die-cast model today as well! But since I had work, I decided to leave it in the box so I have something to look forward to later!
I got mine in the white and blue color scheme, was going to get the presentation colors but that model is sold out.
I also got Mini GTs of the Chiron Super Sport 300+, the Aventador SVJ Roadster in gold, and a black & red Chiron Super Sport from Poster Cars.
Watched tons of videos to learn more about what I was going to buy, and I'm just hoping that the exhaust pipes are not wonky on my Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo Mini GT model - apparently it's a production/quality control issue.
I'll let you know once I've opened it, and be sure to check yours too!

Yes, about the compensation, I appreciate all that you were able to do. I imagine negotiations are not always that smooth, but it's better than what could've been, I guess.
In that respect, one of the CMs did tell me that this was an especially difficult license to hold on to, despite everything.
So I pitched a request to the CM - to ask the team if they could host a farewell Cup for the outgoing car before it disappears forever on Nov 5th. Still waiting to hear back, and hoping they'll consider it.
Time will tell, with this one. And our Mini GT models will at least stay with us forever, unlike in the game. I can't wait to see them expand on their Lamborghini roster, that'd be pretty sweet! 😄😄

I got the BVGT during its festival. I worked my mediocre, below-than-average driving skills to get as much kits for it and upgraded it before the incredible price hike that it is today to upgrade an S-Class car.
I've used it every now and then in master season and the reason I got it was because it sorta reminded me of the Bolide and at that time, there was no way I could afford to get the Bolide (which I still can't up to now. Lol) so I thought, "Better to have a car with a massive wing and buffed body kits." And I don't regret going for it because I've had some good times driving this amazing car and I'll definitely miss it!
I agree that the compensation is far better that I thought it was going to be. I thought that all the compensation players were going to get was like 1M fusion coins and some S-Class wild cards. I do appreciate that you as well as the other Content Creators pushed for more, even if, I personally believe Gameloft should've given more but alas, it is what it is and being mad at Gameloft isn't going to change their decision.

Thanks for the kind words man. And yeah, i do wish we at least got a master key to replace the car, but oh well. At least people got some tokens to help skip stages in a special event and maybe get a replacement. Hopefully one that will be worth the "trade".
Overall, I agree, compensation could've (and should've) been better, but it sure could've been worse, so I guess we're right in the middle

Earlier for nerfing S to A or B class, they would give master key and UU. Now they are totally removing, and shitty compensation..lol

I dont think it will, since that has been in the game for much longer. Probably the Bugatti Vision is a newer design and maybe Gran Turismo is looking to reuse it or something. I dont really know, but I think other older vision cars should be safe. Hopefully.

Asphalt 8 should add active wings in the cars that have it that would be a nice feature
They are not even willing to invest in a new track, can't see them spending money adding active wings to cars.
The game is really old doubt they'll be able to do that

It'd be great, but sadly that's prob out of the scope of things they will do to the game. They'd need to enable it in all the relevant vehicles in a garage that is nearing 400 vehicles already

I think it's unfair to take away a《paying》car, even if there is compensation ! The best thing would have been to improve its stats, for example for better acceleration and handling... Finally, there's nothing we can do to stop this Gameloft madness. I feel like I'm being "robbed". The only valid excuse would be if they no longer had the rights to this vehicle 🤔

That car's copyright belongs to Bugatti and Gran Turismo both ,so maybe GL didn't get GT's permission to add it

It's an OK car. Feels like the only light bugatti (along with Bolide), but it really isn't spectacular in any way, other than looks. Still, sad to see it go

Goodbye Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo. You’ll be remembered and be present in our hearts now and always. It’s sad to see a Vision GT car being removed that did brought a lot of memories. I did noticed that when the 2nd Black Friday season began, the GT by Citroen had the GT logo and stripe removed from the car, even though that was one thing I liked about it. Now on the Bolide, it is based on the Chiron chassis but the crew really had to redo the whole design to make it look like a Le Mans Prototype car. The Vision GT could of been a decent design for a Chiron Gran Touring car but it hasn’t been built as an actual functional one. The compensation you guys did was a bit better than what Gameloft did and if Gameloft’s compensation did green light, then there will be a lot of hate and a faster chance of players leaving A8, for a quicker death and focusing on A9 as of now. I really hope Polyphony Digital can try to reestablish some other cars in other games to be added. But for now, we have to wait and see what the future lies. So if the GT by Citroen is next and if I join the Content Creators, we need to make the grind worth it for everyone.
Yes, I'm one of the scammed players that is going to leave after 5-6 years of playing. It's completely due to the ridiculously pathetic "compensation" for a car I paid $50+, including an UU I bought for real money! Their business practice is blatantly criminal, at least morally if not practically!! A spit in my face, right between my eyes...
@@rullebullerodmule297 I know. It’s literally like Gameloft’s main competitor is EA and will try to squeeze as much out of their player’s wallets. As much as I always stay from DLCs, there’s little to no chance for me to even care about future updates and SE because they’re paywalled so much, why even bother trying.

I would imagine older vision cars don't have the same problem because an exclusivity license (if they had one), must've timed out a while back and no renewal was made. IDK for sure, but that would explain why we won't see a Lambo Vision anytime soon or at all

Try to get in touch with customer care and explain that you just returned to the game and you didn't get your compensation for a car you paid money for. Hopefully they can still given you the compensation
