They’re enjoyable, and they’re the ones that have to work together so I won’t argue if Eddie should be in suicide silence or another band entirely, but I gotta say I think his style isn’t the most fitting. And on their self titled full length Eddie’s performance was, uh, interesting.

I graduated in Riverside CA moving there from San Bernardino for a few years in 2005 and Suicide Silence quickly became my favorite band. There were SOOOOO many good bands and such a good music scene in that area in the 2000's.
My favorite Deathcore band, saw them I think 2 years ago now open for Jinjer and even though Mitch isn’t with us you could tell he was there, and that night they made me a fan. Also I got to meet Mark the long blonde hair guitarist, he’s really cool
Also add on, my little sister who is 22 now when she was 15 she got into Suicide Silence so when I met Mark I asked him to record a video saying hi to her, he was so cool and did and she smiled so big when I showed her
I can’t wait to see your reviews of bands like: In the Midst of Lions, King Conquer, Underneath the Gun, Broadcast the Nightmare, and And Hell Followed With!
So happy you did Suicide Silence! I'm actually seeing them with Chelsea Grin in December! Though as someone who never got the chance to see Mitch perform live it does sting a bit but i have no doubt from seeing their live videos that his energy will still be there and anywhere SS goes. I did get to see Chelsea Grin with Alex along side Chunknocaptainchunk speaking of that show Alex came off the stage and moshed with us while performing and it was an overall blast! SS though will always be one of the biggest bands for the scene due to the mark Mitch left on the scene not to mention the awesome work Garza and the rest of the band put in. One more thing The Garza Show is great i've watched multiple and they are always a mind changer. For example Garza had FFAA (Fit For An Autopsy) and FFAA said that we as the fans may just look at just the band but honestly the people around them be that family, friends, or lovers they are all apart of the band which is so true! Goes to show how much us deathcore fans actually care about things and how family orientated we all are which i honestly don't know a more family based scene then this scene expecially at shows! Anyways sorry for the long messege this music gets me going and i can't stop talking about it when i start to do so! Anyways thank you for these videos honestly they are great and always a chill time to elevate chill and go through nostalgia with all of these bands! Oof I did go back and check cause I thought you did! My apologies haha Oh I'll check that out though depending on how long it's been out I might of already watched it either way though thank you!@@xtheyan
I denied it on purpose for years because they’re so popular but they ARE the best DxC band of all time! I’ve been a huge fan since 2010-2011. My first deathcore bands were Carnifex and then AOAA but Suicide Silence influenced me the most by far considering JFAC had just one DxC album.
Just came across this video and it’s brilliantly done and you can tell you’re a big fan of the band and Mitch. For me Mitch was that guy, he’s number 1 and even though nearly 12 years have past since his death he’s still talked about and loved by all. He’s an absolute icon and Legends never die!
One of my all time favorite bands, of any genre. I was absolutely devastated when Mitch died, I never got to see him live, though I saw SS with Eddie later. The hair on my arms still stands on end whenever I listen to Unanswered. RIP to the king.
I found out from friends at school when he died. My buddy manny was beside himself. I couldn’t believe it for probably an hour then went around trying to console my friends.
When you said the past away part, I'm on tears now. 2012 was the year they was here in Finland, Tuska metal festival and it was my first time seeing suicide silence live and also the last time. So I was at school at that day when kaaozine put out new "suicide silence singer mitch lucker have past away", that was hard to hear. Mitch was the inspiration to me that got me in to deathcore. To me mitch is the best deathcore vocal singer.
Mitch Lucker was my first influence in deathcore even though I never got a chance to see him live. I still remember the first song I heard from the cleansing album was Unanswered. I feel the whole album very energetic and I still listen to it until these day. It's was the best deathcore album of all time. He was such a legendary vocalist and give me inspiration for makin deathcore music . Rest in peace Mitch!!. By the way awesome video man. Keep it up.👍🏻👍🏻
What a great video man ! 💯 Mitch is a pure legend, hands down. Personally, he definitely defined what I consider as the perfect high pitched scream. His technique and flow was the gold standard.. and still is ! I disagree on the fact that Deathcore is dead after him tho. Sure the modern scene isn't as interesting and innovative, but it's alive and well. We lost our leader but the army is still there. It juste evolved into many other subgenre (Downtempo, Slam, Technical, Symphonic, Blackened...) It's not the same good old vibe but there's still amazing stuff to listen to out there 😍 ! And we can still hear the influence of the band here and there. If he's watching us, he's proud of the scene and his legacy for sure. 💫
Mitch did so much for the scene as a whole and it's a shame that he is no longer with us to bring it to the next level! He was just a good guy with a heart of gold!
I love this one! It reminds me of when I saw them live at Warped tour when Mitch was still alive. Emmure actually played right before then on the same stage. I look forward to watching your new videos on my day offs. I love your content and you're quickly becoming one of my favorite UA-camrs!!!!! Thank you 🖤🖤
I was extremely fortunate to see SS play live at Allstars Tour just a few months before he passed. I was just a young lad but I was old enough to know I was witnessing something iconic.
Suffer is my favourite Suicide Silence song. The riff is just so bouncy. Also it’s a song on my bucket list to learn but I can’t find any good tabs online.
More of a hardcore guy and have been since 2013 but suicide silence and a couple other Deathcore bands is what got me there and I remember listening to the demo version of Bludgeoned to death when I was 15 and I was legit scared for my life. Most insane thing ive ever heard. Still a goat band for me. RIP Mitch
Love you yan! Thank you so much for this awesome content. I was 17 in ‘07 when all this beautiful deathcore was being unleashed to the world! What a time to be alive my friend! 🤘🏽🔥
My Band 'Of the Lost' is Opening for Suicide Silence on October 10th in my hometown @ the Encore!!!! Its honestly a dream come true that I thought would never happen in our lives as a musician. I have countless Digital tickets for sale for only $25
Man, do I miss the bird stand. I'm kinda glad I saw them/mitch show at the rockfest, broke a rib during the pit and the bass was so fucking loud it would tickle my broken rib every bass drop
Fantastic video once again! I am sure this one took a bit to compile too. There are times where I really wonder what it would have been like if Mitch hadn't passed. RIP a true legend.
Mitch was the god at Deathcore music!! I remember when I got into them at 17 and my mouth dropped when I heard Mitch talk in an interview and I was like “he screams like a god but he’s a sweetheart what?!” There will never be another Mitch and till this day Suicide Silence will forever be one of my favorite Deathcore bands! Rip Mitch 🫶🏽
That remind me to watch they live in my country first time, it's a crazy live show in my life. Thank for this vids and wait to see part 2 with Eddie. ❤
A huge inspiration to me and one of the reasons i got into harsh vocals. What a time it was to be around for the release of No Time to Bleed, Judgement from Chelsea Grin and This Is Exile by Whitechapel. The only thing close to that era now is Pain Remains by Lorna Shore and Kostolom from Slaughter To Prevail as far as deathcore goes. Rest In Power Mitch. Youre still loved dearly.
Mitch's death was also my first celebrity death to really fuck me up, or that I cared about at all. He will always live on in our hearts and their music will always slam
Going to see them with Chelsea Grin soon, can't wait! Been loving the content. I don't know if you were listening to them or if they were part of the Myspace scene but i'd love to see a video on or hear your thoughts about Alesana.
I remember back in 07 I went to a show they played at a tiny venue in Chatanooga, TN.. got to smoke a blunt with Mitch after the show. Man was such a cool dude, and easily one of the most influential singers for the industry. RIP
When you say that the release of No Time To Bleed was exactly what we wanted, you are exactly right. My all time fav Suicide Silence album - Ill never forget thinking/hearing WAKE UP WAKE UUUUPPPP!!! when i was having a bad trip back in 2009, just hearing Mitch's voice screaming out in my head, so i put on the album and it totally materialized into audio the discomfort and fear i was experiencing and made me feel a deep connection to Mitch, fucking awesome record RIP homie🤘🤪🤙
killer video dude. such respect shown for Mitch and the rest of the guys. i'd love to see a follow-up with post-Mitch info. maybe even an interview with Garza? that'd be sick.
I saw SS in 2006 when they were touring with All Shall Perish and Light This City. Club Red in Gainesville, FL. No one showed up to the show. They played their set in an empty club to me and my friend and some employees from the bar. I just remember it being the most brutal set i’ve ever seen. I’ve always wondered if they remember that dead show in the heart of summer on like a weekday evening.
Josh was my favorite suicide silence drummer. He wore a mask cuz he hated the faces he made when he would tire out from blast beats. And also back in that time in riverside, it was extremely difficult to come across good drummers that knew how to play anything faster than Hardcore. At that time it was all hardcore and metal core. A lot of drummers in the scene weren’t used to blast beats etc. gotta remember this was the early 2000’s. Suicide silence were all good dudes. I used to see them play and share stage with them what seemed like every month.
Whitechapel and Phil Bozeman have always been my favorite deathcore band/vocalist, but I can not deny that Suicide Silence and Mitch were the posterchilds of deathcore and without them the genre never would be where it's at today with Lorna Shore and Slaughter to Prevail busting out onto the scene.
Mitch was the GOAT, end of story. Mitch-era Suicide Silence is the peak of deathcore and it will never be topped IMO.

Bands I would like to see on the channel:
The Acacia Strain
As Blood Runs Black
Attila
Winds Of Plague
For Today
Fit For An Autopsy
Whitechapel
Carnifex
HereComesTheKraken
Iwrestledabearonce
Despised Icon
Job For A Cowboy
After The Burial
Between The Buried And Me

Thanks man ! Really appreciate, I noticed you ask for a Job For A Cowboy video, I actually did one already on my channel and for Attila, you should check out "The Cozy Representative" On UA-cam , he did an amazing job covering their story 🤘🏻🔥
Oof I did go back and check cause I thought you did! My apologies haha
Oh I'll check that out though depending on how long it's been out I might of already watched it either way though thank you!@@xtheyan
Literally checked 45 min ago thinking “it’s been 6 days 😭” thank you for making my day haha
Oh wow and after that I filmed a cover of bludgeoned to death to pass the time, I’m psychic
That's awesome haha
Saaame
I saw them at showcase theater in in Corona in 2003 / 2004. They were just a small local band lol
It’s 2024 and suicide silence is an everyday listen still. RIP Mitch the mothafuckin GOAT
in 2009 Mitch was kind enough to answer a young 6th graders message on my space, and gave him a crash course in screaming. Your a real one man
When you said the past away part, I'm on tears now. To me mitch is the best deathcore vocal singer.
ive been waiting for this one good job mate as always
Thanks ! I'm glad you enjoyed 🤘🏻🔥
Mitch is a pure legend, hands down.
It juste evolved into many other subgenre (Downtempo, Slam, Technical, Symphonic, Blackened...)
It's not the same good old vibe but there's still amazing stuff to listen to out there 😍 ! And we can still hear the influence of the band here and there. If he's watching us, he's proud of the scene and his legacy for sure. 💫
I was lucky enough to have had the pleasure of seeing him live. RIP my man
Mitch did so much for the scene as a whole and it's a shame that he is no longer with us to bring it to the next level! He was just a good guy with a heart of gold!
It’s amazing the research and work you put into to these. Great job man.
I love this one! It reminds me of when I saw them live at Warped tour when Mitch was still alive. Emmure actually played right before then on the same stage. I look forward to watching your new videos on my day offs. I love your content and you're quickly becoming one of my favorite UA-camrs!!!!! Thank you 🖤🖤
another fantastic video. I hope Belie My Burial is somewhere on the list. That video for "Finish Him" is such a classic.
I was extremely fortunate to see SS play live at Allstars Tour just a few months before he passed. I was just a young lad but I was old enough to know I was witnessing something iconic.
Good watch my guy! Mitch was a beast thats for sure. Hot topic sessions were amazing, I always catch myself rewatching those vids
RIP Mitch
Part two would be interesting for sure bro. Most of the time losing a frontman that iconic will kill a band, but they still prevailed.
That's true !
Also wanted to ask you to add The Irish Front to the list.
Thanks for the episode🤘
You're welcome 🤘🏻
Love you yan! Thank you so much for this awesome content. I was 17 in ‘07 when all this beautiful deathcore was being unleashed to the world! What a time to be alive my friend! 🤘🏽🔥
My Band 'Of the Lost' is Opening for Suicide Silence on October 10th in my hometown @ the Encore!!!! Its honestly a dream come true that I thought would never happen in our lives as a musician. I have countless Digital tickets for sale for only $25
Suicide Silence is a legendary band and Mitch Lucker will always be in our hearts❤🤘
Forever 🤘🏻🖤
Sick video Yan, appreciate the shout out.
50 minutes, what did we do to deserve this. I don't think a coffee will be enough
Man, do I miss the bird stand. I'm kinda glad I saw them/mitch show at the rockfest, broke a rib during the pit and the bass was so fucking loud it would tickle my broken rib every bass drop
My god, this format/series is incredible, always searching for this kind of information about bands!🎉
Thanks I’m glad you enjoy 😊🤘🏻
Amazing video man, been waiting for this one. You’ve quickly become one of my favorite UA-camrs, keep up the great work!
thank you so much man , appreciate !!
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS
😈🤘🏻🔥
Bring on the 2nd part man! Cheers from Puerto Rico!🇵🇷
Really enjoyed this! 🤘🏽
If you think stp and LS are the best shit out now you have got to do some digging lol.
Awesome video & an amazing way to honor Mitch Lucker & Suicide Silence’s history! Just subscribed & I’m looking forward to your content!
🤘😊🤘
Mitch's death was also my first celebrity death to really fuck me up, or that I cared about at all. He will always live on in our hearts and their music will always slam
I had the pleasure of hotboxing their trailer with mitch, alex, and their merch guy after their show in Lubbock, TX. A core memory for sure.
Going to see them with Chelsea Grin soon, can't wait! Been loving the content. I don't know if you were listening to them or if they were part of the Myspace scene but i'd love to see a video on or hear your thoughts about Alesana.
Finally covering this masterpiece era of a bands history !!!
I remember back in 07 I went to a show they played at a tiny venue in Chatanooga, TN.. got to smoke a blunt with Mitch after the show. Man was such a cool dude, and easily one of the most influential singers for the industry. RIP
this video is so well done! you're killing it bro, best video yet
Mitch is still and always will be alive, even if it's not physically. Dude will forever be a legend and basically the embodiment of deathcore.
I love Mitch so much I’m so honored to have his autograph!
When you say that the release of No Time To Bleed was exactly what we wanted, you are exactly right. My all time fav Suicide Silence album - Ill never forget thinking/hearing WAKE UP WAKE UUUUPPPP!!! when i was having a bad trip back in 2009, just hearing Mitch's voice screaming out in my head, so i put on the album and it totally materialized into audio the discomfort and fear i was experiencing and made me feel a deep connection to Mitch, fucking awesome record
RIP homie🤘🤪🤙
killer video dude. such respect shown for Mitch and the rest of the guys. i'd love to see a follow-up with post-Mitch info. maybe even an interview with Garza? that'd be sick.
You're channel is dope!
Oooooo been waiting for this one
🔥🤘🏻
Such an icon... We will never forget him. I'm so down for a Part.2, "You can't Stop Me" was legit 🤘
Part 2 for sure! Mitch forever the GOAT!
16 year old me was blown away by that ep. My favorite will always be About a Plane Crash.
Mitch is easily the GOAT 🐐 the guy I seen so many times here in Australia and man the presence was godly and the most humble guy to meet
Love the new backdrop
Thanks man !! Felt like upgrading a little
I saw SS in 2006 when they were touring with All Shall Perish and Light This City.
Awesome work broskie. You’re a solid dude, I love how respectfully you handle everything. Thanks for keeping me entertained at work. 💪💪💪
Dude yes!! Thank you!! May Mitch live forever!
🤘🏻🔥
got to book them back in the day and they were one of the nicest group of dudes i ever booked.
I 100% believe you !! 🤘🏻🔥 amazing people
