In the 1980s the thrash metal band Death Angel was pretty similar to this because everybody inside the group was like ages 13 to 16 and they were all brothers.
I just read your comment and I'm listening to Death Angel now and I defenitly agree with your comment. Their were bands that do stick out like this band that were ahead of its time. Even G.G. Allen has at least one song that sounds very similar to late 90's early 2000 hardcore. He was using guitars and I can't remember the name if the song but my jaw dropped when I first heard it 6 months or a year ago
I remember listening to the 2 songs they had on their myspace and seeing the band lineup pictures. He definitely had that dope ass deathcore image, so solid!!
I remember hearing this and being mega impressed at the time. They had a song that starts off with blast beats and I couldn’t believe some barely pubescent kid was doing that. These kids crushed
I remember that band ! So much talent at such a young age ! I'm all about this simple chuggy pissed off style of Deathcore 👽Awesome job man let's make this channel grow 💯
Mean Pete i miss you so much man... i have tears thinking of him passing. That man and Remembering Never probably saved my life. I have to agree with the headlining comment. I am 43 now and have a tremendous passion for Hardcore. I remember it like yesterday. I heard Vision Of Disorder and from there I wanted more. I then found Remembering Never, XBishopX,. 7 Angels 7 Plagues which is now Misery Signals, Die-cast, Unearthed, Bloodline, Unruh 18 Visions, Zao, Disembodied, Poion The Well, Training for Utopia, Hatebreed. The nostalgia can keep going. Straight Edge or Hardcore had a tremendous and profound postive impact ever since bit man something about the mid 90's to mid 2000s just makes so much more sense and gives a much more emotional impact. Their are some amazing and incredibly talented artists today but I always go back to the roots. The mid 2000s I feel victim without knowing what the opiate was doing every time I took a percocet. I was a professional Freestyle Motocross rider and broke alot of bones. Eventually it moved to herion and I felt like such a piece of S*** I couldn't listen to my favorite bands because I felt so guilty but I started to pay more attention to lyrics and not just the sound and I got sober. I was sober for 15 years. I honestly forget the number of years, however a broken heart gave me the conscious descion to choose a relapse 6 months ago and I'm just now picking up the pieces and getting help but A.A or N.A. Will never do what Hardcore can do to lift me up. I finally met Mean Pete a couple years ago seeing his current project of Ether Coven I first met the guitarist and cried saying thank you for all you have given me. I never would have thought he worked at a rehab when he wasn't on tour. Mean Pete was in tge Van Sleeping. I was unaware of him having Colon Cancer but I was able to say Thank you for saving my life and got a picture. Man I still look up to him. Pete will and always will be what Hardcore should be in my opion, despite whatever genre of Cores their are now. I know this was a long comment and if you read it thank you I did not know it would be this long. We have a new generation paving the way of Hardcore and I'm sure the generation right now will say the same thing I am about today 20 years from now. Just don't let this music die because it's so beautiful and all the friends I have met. Keep the roots of " I have Edge" that minor threat gave us. Thank you ...... BTW GLASS CASKET HAS A NEW E.P. Funny thing is Argentina had their own In Death I Rise, they were called Between the Fallen. At the moment of their first ep releasing called Pulseless released in April 12, 2013, the youngest member was only 15 and he was the guitar player, then the vocalist was 16, then main guitar player who was 18 and then the first bassist and the drummer were 19 and jesus fucking christ, they ripped so hard, it was so brutal, well produced, well mixed and they toured for a few years in the Underground Argentinian Metal from 2013 to 2016 and then dissapeared, they said they were working on new stuff but everything faded, vocalist and the main guitar player have become Trap artists, drummer keeps drumming, bassist I dont know, I think he was doing digital art and the youngest member plays instruments for like indie/rock stuff in bars in Argentina. And out of nowhere, they thought "You know what? Lets just release what we have as a finish to the band" and in 2022, they released 2 new songs that will be the end of Between The Fallen. Left below I leave you one song from their EP and one from their 2022 Duo singles. Much love, I was always curious about this band and I still share them around, cant wait to see what Mikey has in store for us. ua-cam.com/video/B_zY_CLCTKk/v-deo.html&ab_channel=BetweentheFallen ua-cam.com/video/4qyi_urWHjk/v-deo.html&ab_channel=BetweentheFallen

Great video. That Myspace Deathcore era was the best. Seriously, I cant' explain to people how much I loved it. It was so authentically brutal and raw. There's two other bands that I always wondered what happened to because they came out so early and had a great sound but just straight up disappeared before they got big. Both are from the UK. One is Emilyrose and the other is Many Things Untold. Barely anyone remembers them but it made such a big impression on me. I think you'd find them interesting. Emilyrose's demo was in 2008 and MTU was 2008/2009; heck on Spotify, their name is misspelled.
I know the feeling and frustration. I had a band at 13 we played melodic hardcore recorded a 16 original album, some eps back in 2003 but was hard to continue, most of the members were just my best friends from the street and living in Brazil is awful
Hell yeah Mikey! I remember finding their music while in summer school over 10 years ago. I was able to use a proxy site and get past the schools firewall and that may have something to do with why I was in summer school to begin with lol

I've never understood the gatekeepers bro, honestly the metal community is it's own worst enemy in so many ways. Too many people want the bands they listen to to be super obscure and underground because it gives them some sort of a sense of being cool, or different, or some other dumb reason like that. Then they try to push others away and get mad if the band they like gains any real traction, or if the band blows up on social media. Too many bands end up calling it quits because they don't want to put in so much effort without any real type of recognition or income so they end up getting regular 9 to 5 jobs which is totally understandable. Me personally, I want all the bands I like to be as popular as possible, I'd love to hear them on the radio and all that stuff. They put so much effort into creating amazing music and they deserve the recognition and the money that often comes with it. If you're getting enough to actually make a living then a lot of bands will push on making music, sometimes even more or better music because they don't need to have another job just to keep a roof over their head.
