Enjoy your channel sir. I like the fact that you showcase how you actually use stationery in your everyday life as opposed to just a generic review of the products.
I'm a recent subscriber and enjoy your videos. I've especially liked the "bonus" section and need to implement something like that ASAP. I'm looking forward to more videos, especially how you set up / use your Field Notes notebooks. I'm a "newbie" to Field Notes so I'm just now starting to get started -- I just hate the fact that I'm going to spoil those beautiful little notebooks.
Great video and topic. Similar to you, my pocket notebook and work notebook are work-horse style. I really like systems with pages that can be moved and rearranged. I keep a section for "bullet journal" daily logging, a section for more long-form journaling, and then a general common-place style catch-all area for inspirational or interesting things that resonate with me and that I will hopefully find value in later as I review and reread it. I keep a to-read and to-watch list as part of my pocket notebook, as well as a section on gratitude that I try to add to each day.
To read and to watch are excellent lists for notebooks. In the days of tv shows coming out week to week, I also used to have a schedule of tv shows I watched - a notebook version of TV guide.
I’ve been watching your subscribers increase over the months. I somehow missed that you’re already over 1k! That’s very exciting, and I hope your channel continues to grow!
I love that you use different sizes of notebooks. I love notebooks of all sizes and buy different ones. But my OCD gets in the way at times and it’s hard for me to use different sizes for the same types of tasks/material.
Different sized notebooks are fun to use, it definitely gets difficult when you’ve got them all on a shelf though, all different sizes looking uneven, very unsatisfying.
I loved this video! I have similar groupings, minus the investing one. Although, that is something I’ve thought about getting into. I use a Field Notes Expedition for my recipes. I write in it with pencil, because sometimes I make a mess in the kitchen and it’s nice that those notebooks are water and rip proof!
Thank you sir! That’s a great use of the expedition edition. It’s one edition I don’t have yet. I’ve always wondered if the paper is slightly on the glossy side given its water resistance. How does it feel compared to the more ‘normal’ FN paper?
@@BlankFirstPage It is very glossy and slick. It’s interesting to write with pencil on it, because you don’t get the typical grit and feedback most people enjoy. But for the characteristics of what it’s for, I like it a lot.
he had me hunt down Blackwing Vol24 and purchase it 10 times the actual price. but I am happy to have them finally. you cannot find a 12 pack anywhere!!! not sure how i got lucky!
Of course! Thank you for introducing me to a whole new world. I even chased down Kunisawa notebooks after I saw your videos. And I got several of them form sellers, especially the True Black series is my favorite!!!! I love that notebook. So dark. Just my style :)@@BlankFirstPage
I was actually confused by this and thought I had misheard... so the older pants get worn at other people's homes, while new pants get worn at home??! The pants I wear at home are always my oldest (and therefore most comfy) pants! 😆
I have two questions. One do u keep a vocabulary notebook of some sort? I always ask becuz i keep one and i am always loooking for tips. Also what is that big black notebook to your left under the small bottle vase? Is that a notebook or dictionary? I like the way it looks on camera
I don't keep a vocabulary notebook. I used to have one at school, our english teacher used to make us write a certain number of words in it each day for homework. Maybe that is some kind of trauma that keeps me from having a notebook like that now! The big notebook is one of these: manteaunoir.com.au/products/handmade-biblio-100-cotton-paper-journal?variant=41567123570881 It's a great whopper of a notebook and I'm not sure what I'm going to use it for but it's almost like a piece of art, just nice to have around and look at.
My inside pants: do not require a belt or suspenders My outside pants: require a belt or suspenders My pants for other people's houses: ...... ........................... I don't have any. Please advise. :P

Thank you sir! Glad that’s coming through!
Your life appears ultra well-organised, even down to the correct type of pants you wear.
I do an unusual amount of organising both notebooks and pants. Don’t get me started on shirts!
Your Task / Organizational management Skills with Notebooks is great.
Thanks for sharing your NB Journal with us. 😎👍
Thank you for watching!
I can’t wait for you to get 1 Mil subs. You’re in a very good and neglected market for hit. You’re the best Lucas.
Thank you Sir! Thanks for watching!

You definitely don't spoil notebooks by filling them in - it only makes them better! Thanks for watching!

Damn! I admire your dedication Sir! You now own stationery gold. So far I've only used 1.5 from my 12 pack. Thanks for watching!

If you were my cousin, I’d prefer you come to my house with your new “home pants” and you wear your used “home pants” when you are at your own home. 😂
Duly noted!

Inside other people's homes pants?
Brilliant!

As long as you’re wearing some pants to other people’s houses, that’s the main thing!
Pants 😂
Love your videos but friend the pants part was a bridge too far.
I have big boy pants.
This is a confusing title and topic when you consider that ‘pants’ outside of North America means underwear… 🩲
