Software Engineering major. Partied hard (mostly with non-engineering majors, engineering parties are kinda dull ngl), drank way too much (not every night though), got stoned even more, had/have too many hobbies (like every ADHD person), but still graduated with honors. And yes I'm also the guy that almost never studied for a test, only did assignments and presentations. I'd agree with being "built different", in that I seem to somehow have a very high tolerance for a very unhealthy lifestyle 😂
I own a road blasting firm in western Canada, and it's quite funny I'm a high-school drop out but I hire engineers and uni kids all the time for a fraction of what I make at year end. (Although they are employees so makes sense they don't put in extra business work) My moral of story is skip school and make the kids who went to school work for you instead, you make more money and put in less work 😂
There's no effing way. I have to study constantly. Even if I appear to be taking a break it is incredibly intentional because the only thing I am thinking abut is the 1.5 million assignments.
I have an even better question. How can they AFFORD to be drinking every night!? Even if they have the money, I couldn’t stomach spending that proportion of my income on booze
Literally "stomach" lol - but nah that's a really good point that I didn't consider - my guess is that they are going to parties where the host has a bunch of bottles, rather than going out to bars
Quite simple, you drink the cheapest possible beer and the cheapest spirit (with a reasonably high ABV). Speaking of pre-gaming, drinks at bars and clubs are expensive af so never go to either without a solid pregame. At house parties, hosts provide most of the drinks so no worries about costs unless its BYOB (then you get to see everybody bringing in all the bottom shelf stuff). tl;dr, Getting turnt ain't that expensive if you only care about getting drunk xD
@@fahadahaf I'm guessing that you aren't from the uk, "cheap alcohol" doesn't really exist here. Even drinking the highest ABV bottom shelf spirits is kinda expensive
I'm having a party, but you need to like this video to get an invite
Only if we're doing nerdy things from time to time
@@w花b I’ll work it into the schedule
You party and fail your classes
I study and fail my classes
We're not the same 😎
operating on a whole nother frequency 😮💨 all these other people can't relate fr 😤
Every single person I knew in the CoE that partied and still passed their classes were cheating at every possible opportunity.
💀💀💀

"high tolerance for a very unhealthy lifestyle" is wild lol
To put it in the words of Qui-Gon Jinn: There's always a bigger fish.
Well, in this case it's a smarter fish, but you get the idea.
Yousa make a good point
Yay a Gauruv upload! Early enough for the title change 😤
Caught me in the act 🫠

Totally - drinking in college is a logistical nightmare
I don't have the english knowledge required to elaborate, so i'll keep it as simple as that... great vid
Thank you! :)
It might help if you ask people to subscribe later in the video, they're unlikely to sub before they've seen at least some of the video
Solid point (also make sure you are subscribed)
This is so underrated
Appreciate it 🤝
