I am just amazed at how fluent, calm and easy going Shaykh Othman is. Machallah, the degree of knowledge and composure he showed is just wonderful.
Bobby the issue is forgiveness of sins, only Jesus (God in the flesh0 can forgive sins when you Repent and Believe in Him, life is a test of pride a Christian is suppose to be humble like Jesus.

Only the one true God has power over all things, there is nothing coequal to God, and the creation (flesh ie human) cannot be the creator (God). We Muslims also use Jesus PBUH as an example, we believe in him as our prophet and the miracles he did with the permission of God, as there can only be one God.

WHY SACRIFICE NEEDED FOR FORGIVENESS OF SINS ?
God has given us court as an example of justice. If somebody earns a prison sentence (Hell) from breaking laws (Sins). He can be let out justly out of prison if someone pays his fine (bail). Jesus death on the cross paid the fine (the fine is infinite because you have sinned against an infinite God so only Jesus can pay the fine because He is Perfect). Either Believe in Jesus and repent (change from your sinful ways) or spend eternity paying for your own sins

@@kohelet910 I have some underlying health issues which can lead to premature death, so I heard about fasting can help fix many issues so I decided to give it a go by dry fasting (no food or water) I could only do it for 1-2 days a week without feeling too weak, but a few months in my heart started racing and it let weaker and weaker. When I would eat something unhealthy it would race hard.
One night it was racing hard and a tall figure in white appeared and was praying towards the picture of Jesus in my room, he said something like “please don’t let him die from a heart attack”, then soon after he disappeared and I heard the audible voice of God tell me some stuff then that voice stopped then I felt my body being lifted and life being pumped back into my heart and I was healed thank God, Jesus is God and He is very loving and a miracle worker.

Remember on judgement day Zakir Naik won’t be there, nor your sheikh nor your parents. So please read the following carefully and think for yourself.
You say, “God is merciful”, but why?
God is a just judge and cannot extend mercy without Justice. Your sins of lying, stealing, sexual sins, hatred towards others are all EXTREMELY offensive to God because GOD IS HOLY & HATE SIN. So how can God show you mercy?
Justice require punishment and mercy shows forgiveness. God placed his JUST wrath upon Jesus on the cross so that He can place his mercy on humans , how loving is that? Now you don’t receive Justice of Hell but Heaven instead. Only those who repent (stop sin and seek after Holiness) and Believe in Jesus are saved. And that is how God shows JUSTICE & MERCY at the same time.
Ephesians 2:8-9 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.
You know Bobby…if I had a knowledgable person to speak to for this long when I became Muslim back in the mid 90’s, I would have become Muslim at the end of the talk after having researched as much as you have also…
I had just a few books and pamphlets and hoped I had the right ones, my blessing was that I was well read with the Bible and being religious since a very young child so when I read the Quran I could make out the problems in the Bible and see what the Quran said about it etc.
There was none of this online Islamic knowledge and UA-cam in those days… just Ahmed Deedat vhs tapes and a lot of reading… Alhumdulilah

WHAT ABOUT PEOPLE WHO NEVER HEARD JESUS? (People prior to Jesus & people now)
Firstly, people don’t go to hell for lack of belief in Jesus, they go to hell for their sins (Jesus saves the law will condemn you) .Secondly, I’d be lying if I say I have a definitive answer to this question but ill share what the Bible says.
The Bible says no one can plead ignorance on the day of judgement. Psalm 19-1The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament[a] shows [b]His handiwork.2Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge. Romans 1:20-For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.
Jesus tells a story of a Rich man & a poor man named Lazarus. The rich man treated Lazarus worse than a dog, eventually Lazarus died & the rich man. Lazarus went to a good place & the rich man hell. The rich man perished for his lack of LOVE towards God & his fellow man ( the rich man had all the resources to help but He didn’t). Lazarus lived by Faith (day by day God will provide) The rich man trusted in his riches.
In conclusion, remember that God is fair & will judge everyone according to their deeds & what they knew. I’m more worried for people who have heard about Jesus saving love, yet they refuse to Repent& Believe in Jesus as Lord & Saviour. (Luke 12:48)
I am following Islam not for this very short time dunya but for eternal jannah.

WHAT IS HE MEANING OF LIFE?
To have a relationship with God on earth so you can spend eternity together in Heaven. So, what pushes me away from God? Sin (lying, unforgiveness, sexual sins from lust, dishonouring parents, steeling, taking the Lord’s Name in vain etc) which leads to hell. But Jesus died on the Cross and rose from the dead to give you the ability to repent and Believe in Him as your Lord and Saviour.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Look ill share something personal. I’ve personally seen Jesus (Not worthy), Heaven and Hell. Hell is worse than what you think (I was shaking after that experience), and Heaven is better than what you think. I have also received a personal healing miracle, I can go into details if you want. This is how God works. If you give Him the benefit of the doubt, He gives you more and more. Would I spend even 2 minutes preaching if I had an ounce of doubt? (I’ve experienced way too much)

Firstly, let’s say you just since 3 times a day, that’s 1000 sins a year and more than 80 000 sins a lifetime. Now the Bible teaches that if you have an opportunity to do good and don’t then it is also a sin, most people without even knowing it will have sinned hundreds of thousands of times in their lifetime, and they will do good, but it won’t be nearly as much as the sins.
But unfortunately (& fortunately), it doesn’t work like that. God is a just judge (psalm 7:11) & a will judge you according to your sins (not your good works) & therefore EVERYONE will be guilty before God but those who REPENT (forsake evil and do good) & BELIEVE IN JESUS will be spared judgement & let into HEAVEN instead of HELL because of Jesus death on the Cross and resurrection.
In the Quran you read that Adam and Eve were removed from the garden for 1 sin of disobedience (there was no weighing up of good vs bad)

What I love about my Brother Uthman is to not be apologetic about being Muslim. To be proud to worship the One Creator. To stand firm and not fear what any man says. His imaan is so strong. Then We will surely extract from every sect those of them who were worst against the Most Merciful in insolence. Then, surely it is We who are most knowing of those most worthy of burning therein. And there is none of you except he will come to it. This is upon your Lord an inevitability decreed. Then We will save those who feared Allah and leave the wrongdoers within it, on their knees.

One of the biggest lies of the devil is that everyone is automatically forgiven & goes to Heaven, not the case. Only those who repent & Believe in Jesus go to Heaven (a minority of people have done BOTH- unfortunately). God HATES sin because He is HOLY. John 15: 10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. (this verse is clear if you don’t keep His commandments you are not loved by God-see Psalm 5:5 )

God tells us what to do if we sin and how to go to heaven. Come back to me after reading Ezekiel 18 and you will understand repentance and forgiveness. Being Malaysian there are many reverts who are of your age Bobby. And my sons were circumcised at different ages. it was all done clinically. Meaning it was done with the best of sanitation and minimal pain. it takes about 1week to 2 weeks to heal fully.

Don’t forget HE ROSE FROM THE DEAD DEFEATING DEATH (Only God can rise from the dead). Your sins have earned you eternal punishment, but Jesus paid your penalty with His precious blood. If you speak of Josephus that was written approximately 40 years after the alleged crucifiction then you'll find that Josephus' writing on that matter was weird. He was supposed to be a Jew so he must've hated Jesus so why does he call Jesus "Christ"? He also worked for the Romans and was sly as hell and historians agree on his character and multiple lies in his many writings. The other sources before 100 A.D were all Christians and the problem is that we have no manuscript of their own writings from that time. The earliest we have is close to the time when the Roman Empire adopted Christianity and Nycean Council banned all gospels except the 4 we know today. Which is really suspicious isn't it?

Finally! I finished the video before 4 am lol. I need to be at work in a few hours but I just couldn't stop watching. Shaykh Uthman is absolutely amazing! Well informed and very eloquent and easy going. Watching the both of you in one video was far more amusing than any movie. There's just something so joyful watching two honest and knowledgeable people converse like that.
You know Bobby, I have been watching all your reaction videos in a chronological order and it's been so much fun and informative to watch the perspective of someone who's not born in a Muslim family discover Islam and learn about it step by step.
Not only it's interesting to watch, but I also learned a lot from your journey that further solidifies my belief. I will continue watching in order until I'm up to date with the realeses. All humans have sinned in thought, word or deed. Therefore, none of us are good and able to get into Heaven and will be justly judged and sent to eternity in Hell! WHAT IS HE MEANING OF LIFE?
To have a relationship with God on earth so you can spend eternity together in Heaven. So, what pushes me away from God? Sin (lying, unforgiveness, sexual sins from lust, dishonouring parents, steeling, taking the Lord’s Name in vain etc) which leads to hell. But Jesus died on the Cross and rose from the dead to give you the ability to repent and Believe in Him as your Lord and Saviour.

As a Muslim I gotta say this was such an informative discussion. Though I'm born Muslim, sometimes when discussing the finer details with non Muslims we can be asked about things that we don't have a lot of knowledge about and are unable to contact the scholars to get those questions answered, so hearing the questions and the answers right now really helped
Alhamdulillah Shaykh Uthman already gave you a dawah, many Muslims make a prayer for you and their utmost wish is that Allah shall give a hidayah, insya Allah.

Assalamu aleikum. Bobby I just wanted to tell you, you really must not worry about the circumcision. Age isn't an issue, especially in your case. I did it when I was 21. You will just have to make sure you don't need to work hard or do crazy workouts for the next 10 days. That's it. The recovery is really fast. And if you wonder, make sure it is the scalpel, not laser. Laser burns the skin and actually makes the recovery harder. Normal cut is the way to go.
