Thank you for joining us on this crazy journey! Our family- Kate and Marius plus our five kids, have always enjoyed living a homemade life whenever possible. Moving 1000 miles north in 2017 to Northern BC, Canada upped our game even more. We live on a 34 acre homestead and get a kick out of things like raising our own meat, dairy and vegetables. Theres plenty of failures, you’ll be sure to see those here too. We’re a homeschooling family who believes life is the best teacher but we do hit the books in winter. Your daughter is absolutely amazing! She does a wonderful job preparing to milk, actually milking, and then cleaning up which most kids her age wouldn’t know how to do or want to do. You’re lucky woman they have such a beautiful daughter.

Now it is a lovely spring so the milking looks like a glorious activity but winter, darkness and icy wind must be a different story. Congratulations to you mama and Freya - I wish I had taught some life skills my kids.

Happy sunshine day here in MICHIGAN. Thanks for sharing Fraiah milking the goat. She is very good at the whole process, clear down to straining. I love how she anticipated needed another pint jar for the milk. I'm praying for you and your family as you wait for the wee one to arrive.

I have commented before that Freja reminds me of my granddaughter Sadie who is now 10. She currently has two bottle goats that she loves and feeds.
