    I’m way too distracted to learn… That novo! I think I need gold foils in my life, it’s so with a twangy top end clear yet full? We need a video on that novo!

    Nice little lesson to start off on a sleepy Sunday. Thanks, Corey. Also, Happy Mothers’ Day to all the Moms out there that paid for our guitar lessons, drove us around to music stores, paid for our first guitars, and closed the bedroom door while we were going through our “Zepplin phase”.... Love you Mom.

    Great! Thank you Corey!
    I have suggestion :) I think if you will clarify how you set the sound in the lesson and put it in the end of the video, a lot of people will be watching it just because of this feature :)

    Cool lick Corey. Would love a lick that builds tension to play before as this one resolves to the root nicely. how about a quick lesson on that please. Keep up the great work encouraging so many of us to improve all the time.

    That new guitar!!!! It's beautiful and the sound, wow!! Great lick and so much to take from it. The lower part on the 4th and 5th string had a touch of arpeggio feel to it too!!

    Lol I heard the lick and thought "nice". Paused the video, sat down to play and "how did it go again? maybe like this". Turns out I got it slightly wrong, but sounded cool all the same. Now I got two variations on the lick and some new ideas to develop. I love it when I come to one of your videos and it's just inspiring and fun, always gets me to sit down and play.

    Super lesson. Wha tare your thoughts on just merging all those three scales into one scale (TO RULE Them ALL, Ala Lord of the Rings). esenatially gives us one chromatic run from the flat 3rd up to the 5th.embeded in a minor pentatonic sale?

    Can you please show us more lessons on what to play over which chords are being played at that time? Sometimes there are fast chord progressions and what to solo on as they are happening etc.. Thank you again for your help.

    • @coreycongilio
      @coreycongilio  3 роки тому

      If we had a good example of what chord progression then yes, I could do that. Are you thinking just blues?

    Love your lessons man. As I've said, your teaching has really opened up my playing. I think these types of lessons where you take a simple lead idea and show us how to apply to different rhythms and styles is priceless. Keep these types of lessons coming because they let our natural style come out.

    Juneteenth spent getting a new blues lick with C.C.!! How cool can U get?? Cool and useful lick..........I see it as a solo or great ending to a cool blues solo. This guitar is far-out, man (borrowing an expression by Tommy Chong) and reminds me of Fender Jazzmaster and an old Gretsch guitar. Perhaps best of all............we're in full summer mode season this weekend and no interruptions by Corey's lawn service!! Great to share and a blast to play, buddy!! Jim C.
