I don't know anyone on the Internet who comes close to this quality of guitar instruction. It's not just licks, it's not just theory. I'd say the balance of "what", "how" (and "why") is just right.
Fantastic lesson. So many lessons dive into theory in a way that can leave many of us foundering and seeking a way to utilise what we DO know. This is terrific and easily applicable to our beloved instrument.
I've seen many lessons and other content from other guitarists, but I have this conviction that your lessons are rich and way much easier to follow and apply, thank you so much :) !
Thanks again Corey for another awesome video. You are one of the best blues guitar teachers out there. You are making a difference for many of us. Very inspiring. Thank you.
Hi Corey... but you are less in hurry! .. this is aanother briiick for meeelting major and minor scale in blues, thank you a lot , great lesson as always , I look forward next one!
The transposition of the major and minor patterns over each other, without shifting up & down 3 frets, has been a "major" step forward for me this past year thanks to your, and your colleagues, instruction. Many thanks..
You my friend apart from being a very tasty player are a born teacher!!!Very clear and concise approach.Keep up the good work bro.Just a quick shout out from a fan here in Australia :)
Another outstanding lesson mixing major/minor. Pattern 2 on the A (Pat 1 on the F#) rang the bell and let me visualize A major up the fretboard. Beautiful PRS SE, wish I had it in blue oh wait I do. Thanks Corey for recommending the PRS SE.
Well Corey, once again, you’re nailin’ it! You’re a ‘smooth’ instructor. This stuff reminds me of ‘Jump’ blues, and Jimmie Vaughan, and the like - which I Love! It’s All Good, right? Keep Up the Great Work!
Corey, thank you as always for this lesson. These free lessons are great companions to your bigger paid lessons (Truefire etc.) which I love as well. These really help solidify things for me and I honestly think you are getting better and better at conveying this material all the time. Sometimes a lesson that might seem like it would be review ends up being pure gold because of the way you are teaching. Cheers my friend!
Great lesson, nice guitar ! i can hear Lonnie Johnson or T-Bone Walker and Mr Robillard in the background somewhere, thanks for the lesson, great job once again.
When I started learning pentatonic scales I always found myself playing chromatics by ear. I believe it's all the years of music listening my ears don't accept normal pentatonic. 😁
I love how your teaching is more like ear training for me.
Corey...if there is a better guitar teacher anywhere...I don’t know what else they could do.....you are the best! And a killer player!
Really appreciate that, Ron!

I can’t believe how much good content you’re putting out so frequently. Thank you. I’m playing with a buddy tonight so I’ll work some of this in.

COREY, this video helped me so much.Greetings from UKRAINE.
I’m glad! You’re welcome!
The two best guys playing chromatic notes, going backwards in time.
BB King, Django Reinhardt.
Great lesson, nice guitar ! i can hear Lonnie Johnson or T-Bone Walker and Mr Robillard in the background somewhere, thanks for the lesson, great job once again.
Well I love all of those players! Thx!

I'd love a funk soloing video, something like "what Maceo Parker would play, if he played guitar"
That'd be cool!
Nobody ever wanted me to play a prs more than Cory C.
Keep peeling the onion.
Thank you for sharing.
Haha, will do!
I think I hear some T-bone Walker in this lesson
I got an error code 404 to download the track something's wrong
Thx John. I’ll get it fixed ASAP.
I fixed it. I tried it on desktop and mobile and it worked. Enjoy!
