Wow this is intense. This is great for when my brain is so loud and won’t shut up (usually singing the same sentence of a song over and over again but it’s just so loud I can’t concentrate on anything else!)
Just a gentle suggestion, meditation. It's designed to quiet that backround voice that's constantly processing random information on autopilot. A bunch of studies and scholarly documentationd have revealed that it lowers Brain activity in a certain region we don't know much about, but is generally associated with overstimulation and that sort of disconnect you feel when your brain runs on autopilot for a long period of time. Much love ❤️
Something I always do when a song is stuck in my head is listen to the actual song until it goes away. Only applies if you like the song it’s from. LOL.
