Been playing this the last 2 days! My only gripes so far is the AI. On slower bikes they’ll come flying past me on a straight making me look slow. Also it seems nearly impossible for them to crash. I’ve seen them literally nearly horizontal and still not crash yet the slightest nudge they give me I’m down. Enjoying it though and hopefully it’ll improve in time :)
Nice to see Ride 5 on the channel! Looking forward to the career mode, hopefully this game can challenge you a bit more than Ride 4 ;) I’m not sure what to think of it though, the handling doesn’t look as nice as Ride 4 was
Thanks for the preview Robo! Game looks and sounds great. Bike seems very stiff, tho. The back twitches wierdly. It's like the rear has not grip or real contact with the surface. Like it's on rails. Is there such a feeling?
The only thing I got mad at is that I see the Panigale V2 but no racing modified version of it. Besides that, i like everything else. I hope that they make a racing modified version soon

Can you do a video on Race Creator? For me this is the most exciting thing they have added into the Ride series. Be interested to see what options you have.
Thanks for the gameplay. Looks interesting so far for Ride 5. "No such thing as a friendly race" the game states. That's for sure in Ride 4. Gone are the games where it was possible to easily catch up in easy mode in Ride 1, 2 and 3. I hope it's more forgiving AI in Ride 5 if I pick it up down the road. I tend to disable the rewind feature. Slower AI bikes should be the rule for easy mode, but they don't slow down in Ride 4.
This is a lot harder to play than the last two games before it. It would be nice to have a how-to video to Ashley pass the bikes or how to set up the bikes. Because I am at a total loss to beat the first race at all

@jonathan1655 Ride 2 was and still is my favorite one. Ride 3 was barely different than 2, and 4 and 5 are lacking what 2 had. They're probably going to sell recycled tracks as DLC, and that's pathetic.

What are you on about? Ride 4 after the first patch was riding on rails without any feedback of the physics whatsoever. Milestone is known to nerf the physics with the first patch because a handful of people find these games too hard...
It looks really good, Ride 4 did, too, but the tracks still seem to be lacking. When Ride 2 came out, it felt much different than MotoGP but Ride's latter iterations don't seem too different than MotoGP.
@tycoon7885 it's why I canceled my pre-order and will wait until later to get it. My backlog is big enough, and Ride 5 didn't add anything in the three years since Ride 4. It's just unlicensed MotoGP at this point, and that sucks.

The physics handling feeling is way othe than ride 4 i find Its cool but a little bit new learned I hope the track textures will be better on nürburgring z.b..looks a bit paste.more textures on track please But the bike graphics is the best!!
If I can remove collision in career I will get this game because being hit in the back around corners is vary annoying. Edit... Nevermind!.. I won't like this game because it slides and wobbles bad!, But after seeing we can disable collisions almost convinced me.
I personally feel the physics have been simplified compared to RIDE 4. Also it doesn’t warn you when you lock the front under braking the bike suddenly falls
@@ROBO46 yeah same for PlayStation it’s very sudden. But i don’t use ABS if you do use it you feel a strong clicking sensation when the abs is interfering and if you ease off that feeling goes away
5:58 Tires are all blue. 6:21 Tires are all *_green._* Quite sad that this also happens in this game. It happened with me as well on PS5. It happens so often in Ride 4 and it often ruins an online race from the get go. PS: I also wondered where the feel in the front has gone. Hopefully just a setting that needs to be in place, because I just notice no difference whether I slam the brakes or not, as well as the brakes hardly work in the beginning.
Robo! Have you ever asked Milestone why they have the box for "voice chat" pop up constantly during online multiplayer? Its back for Ride 5 and more annoying than ever. Its a giant black box now. I can send an imgur link to a screenshot if you don't know what I am talking about. No way to get rid of it that I know of. Takes a big portion of the screen when the lobby is full. Ironically I have never heard a player say a word in over a decade online.
Try IOM TT 3. Same team but much more forgiving. But the biggest plus: You're not confined to a piddly little track. You have 37 miles of hell instead la😅
Cant wait when you start the career, i really want this game but i'm kinda 50/50 because Ride4 career was so annoying with all the retarded modes you needed to do. I wish this wasnt like that but i have feeling it is going to be quite similar. One shot qualifying, track days and then that one mode where you needed to hit the gates. Jesus i hated those modes. I allready like the fact that races are going to have qualifying? That way if you dont know the track atleast you can get some understanding before thrown into the race.

@@ROBO46 not necessarily you mainly need to use the back brakes and front brake almost simultaneously you need to use them a few minutes apart from each other when you are breaking depending on the corner and going into
Racing is almost all front brake, especially heavy braking you will often see the rear lift off the track. If you're not using front brake even on the road you'll just be locking up n sliding all the time.
As much as I loved RIDE 4, I see absolutely nothing in this game for what I'd buy it. Looks and feels like the same game. Also, it's not game design to put new players immediately on one of the fastest bikes. First impressions go a long way.
Bro your doing to much. Why down shift to first while still in straightaway instead of downshifting right before the turn and engine break to slow a little while trail breaking aka keeping front forks compressed so you have more control of the bike in the turn so you don't lose all your momentum going in and out of the turn
The narration is so cringey though. Is it that hard to write some normal sounding scripts that don’t sound like someone who hasn’t ever ridden a bike in their life talking from a script? I cannot stand the guys voice. The rest looks good though 😂

Not worthy of this money they are asking for. Bikes reduced and replaced overall visual good for machines and riders so the next thing like tracks and textures totally disasters too lazy not even greater from the Ride 4. Riding is fun and that's all.
Pure crap, complete 20 minute endurance races to move to the next races. You don't qualify, you don't move to next races meaning the game is useless unless you win. 1st until the last couple of minutes, refuel, come 17 & you've just wasted 20 minutes for nothing. Game over, can't go any further 2nd day of playing the crap. £90 wasted, back to gta5 ffs.

I swear I rode the BMW RR a few years back on a test ride . Had anti - dive front forks . Nice and seemed fast for the short time ridden .

I would like to see open class racing for private lobbies. I liked racing naked bikes with sport bikes with friends.

On Xbox you get a small vibration just before the front locks but nothing before then

i wish they added more motogp tracks, nice to see Le Mans now there but i was hoping for Catalunya or Jerez.
