  • We present our 'Talanoa Kaungafononga' series. This is a conversation on journeying along with one another or in the Tongan language, Kaufakataha or Fetokoni'aki.
Our 10 week series consists of videos with counselling tools to educate Tongan people on discrimination, prejudice and mental distress. The programme will be in Tongan and English.
Today, we launch Part 6: Discrimination in school and work, Laulanu pe koe fakahilihili'i 'i he Ako moe Ngãue. In this video, Penisimani and 'Ilaisaane are joined by Dr. Siale Foliaki. Together, they discuss knowledge about work place policies, advocating in schools for your children, encouragement when facing discrimination in school and work and the power of small acts of kindness.
We hope our series resources you all and raises your awareness of discrimination in your community.
