These uncut videos literally save my life while working on longer work projects so I don't lose my mind that I am not fishing. And honestly, I needed this one in my life to make me feel less terrible about how dry the bite is right now LOL. The biggest fish I ever caught on a jig (I'll exclude vibrating jig) is 4 pounder on a Catch outdoors zero gravity 1/4 oz. kayaking down the Huron river in Ann Arbor, Michigan
As a bank fisherman who finally has gotten better at kayak fishing, your channel has everything i need. Plus i have a paddle kayak so im happy to see some paddle kayak content. Keeping myself positioned right has been a skill ive perfected haha. Thank you tyler i enjoy this series and the pond one a lot
He has a kid , I highly doubt there will be a video like that !! Don’t say we’ll take your family with you , have you ever flown on a plane with an infant child before? I have !! A 11 month year old and it was rough !!! 😊 plus by his child being very very young flying can be dangerous to infants
@brandon367011 I have a 6 year old and an 8 month old. I know what it's like to travel with kids, both road trips and very long airplane trips, and it's not bad as long as you are a competent parent.
Good ol' Bank Beater/Pond Prowler here. Just started getting "jiggy" with it in early summer. 2.32 lbs is my biggest on a jig so far. Caught it on a 3/16oz Finesse Jig. Your videos helped me get the confidence to start using a jig. Now, I can't put them down.
Thank you tyler for fishing the drop shot my favorite fishing style , since I asked last time and God knew it was a dream of mine, I have been enjoying it and I am glad you are Christian God Bless As Always !! and all of the best !
I just used a jig for the second time on my last fishing trip. The jig was made by a friend who loves fishing jigs. The first time I used it I didn't know what I was doing, but I watched several of your jig videos and the next time out I caught 2 small ones probably 8-10 inches within about 10 minutes. I plan to use them more going forward.
Just purchased an RVR. Will mostly be in ponds but as seen in this video, it works just fine as a pond kayak, just has specific designs to benefit river fishing. I’m excited to get it fully kitted out.
Only ever caught one dinky little bass on a bottom contact jig, but my biggest bass in the state I live in ate a green pumpkin swimjig with a single curly tail grub trailer. Couldn't measure him on the spot, but it came out to around 18 inches and 4-5 lbs.
Yeah that Texas heat is brutal this time of year. I fish from 6-9 anything past that you might be knocked out for the rest of the day! Also stoked to see you in the paddle Yak as that is the way I fish! Cheers Tyler
Biggest fish I've caught on a jog is a 2 pounder in my local community pond. Would love to be able to try out other jig and trailer. Thank you for all the master class videos, which I've learned a lot. Keep up the great videos!
My biggest fish I’ve caught on a jig is my PB, pushing high 8s last summer. And it was on a 1$ GP/Watermelon mini jig with a little senko for a trailer. For sure the best fish fight of my life 🤩🤩
Biggest fish I caught on a jig is actually my PB. 6 pound 12 ounce large mouth in a little pond with wood structure. I threw a 1/2 ounce kitech jig and slowly dragged it on the bottom. I believe it was first cast too haha. I got lucky that day! Love your uncut videos dude! ❤
Nice uncut, I love a good swim jig bite, it always seems get me good ones! My biggest jig fish is a 5.75# caught just a few weeks ago, decker lake, on an outer reed edge! 🎉
very debatable… some would argue after the storm is not so good but it can cool the water in the summer and bugs can get in the runoff. the best time to fish is moonrise during a full moon. or early morning.
I've got a hydraulic lift on my TM on my kayak, with a switch by my seat to raise and lower it. It's pretty slick if you're willing to do some pretty simple wiring through the hull. I've got it plugging in by the motor so it can be removed, then the wiring runs from the plug up to the switch, through the hull.
Biggest fish I’ve caught on a jig was on a big football jig with a flappin hog trailer. It was a 5.5 lb and is my current pb. Caught it after using ur jig videos for tips and now I have so much confidence with jigs
Just watched your HOT morning transitions video and looked for newer videos, this is on the same pond! Still looks like a great area. You were killing it with the frog back then too
I caught a 4lb LM on a PB&J 3/8oz football jig with a big bite trailer fishing deep at a local honey hole. I live in GA and the place I fish jigs is a place that used to be a paid lake and is now surrounded by warehouses. Lucky for me a lot of people think this lake is too hard to fish and is a hidden gem in my area. Anyways, tight lines!
Biggest jig bass is a 3, I had a pond I used to fish and I loved a black and blue jig with and Uncle Josh pork trailer. I’m so sad they don’t make those anymore. I don’t fish a jig anymore and I need to make myself so that.
I caught a 3 lb bass actually on a dirty money colored jig with a California craw trailer I was so hyped bc I’ve only recently started getting more into jigs from watching your videos.
Hey Tyler my biggest fish i have caught on a jig was a 7lb bass i had used a perch swim jig with a watermelon red flk rage bug for a trailer. I hope i made it in time for the jig🙂
You mentioned a jig master class video that you were proud of but I don't see the link? Am I missing it? Thanks for all the help. Love your videos. Learning so much!
Been blood bait catfishing -- dead shrimp redfishing most of my life, BUT trying to learn BASS fishing, they do taste better. We are not ALL up to your speed on what things your are fishing with, what you are doing and why and notice you call certain lures by different names so the slang switch over makes for confusion (100ponds#92). Could you maybe like here time 42 just show us that lure and name it, not just that it's all in the comments, but it helps at the time. Just not all as fast as you, and this video is YOU sharing and hoping to get views. I can see your joy n the speed of the chase as it appears to get fast and interesting. We might share some more of this with you if you would refresh us on the lure and why. I here the strategy of light, location, what gets bites, it's interesting and hope to be learning more from you. Noticed you exclusively use bait casters, I've only had 2, still need to get used to them, too many birdnests. Why not your Native Kayak Here????? Just figured I'd bring by fav my best, but maybe it's because it's shallow and you just wanted to paddle. Ah, spoke too soon, you got trolling motor. You do cut to the chase. Like your videos and locations, nature. Drop Shot on a spinner!!! thought all bait casters.
Fished JerMar and was a “meh” experience. You should go to Double A in wills point (would love to go with you!). It’s frog heaven! You’d also have fun at Salt Lick in Wills Point too!
I have never caught a bass on a jig but I plan on fishing in lake Mendocino up this little stream/small river because last time I went there with my cousin we meet these two fisherman that told us that the little stream is good and I caught one on a popper in the stream but I now have a 3/8 oz football jig and a 1/8 oz golden eye swim jig and the only three rods I have is one medium heavy 7 foot and 2 medium 7 foot rods and the medium heavy has a 8.2/1 bait caster and one of the medium rods has 7.5/1 bait caster and the other medium rod has a spinning reel but idk the gear ratio
I gotta learn to use a jig. I understand the concept, but every rock, every piece of wood, all feels like a hit. I'm positive I set the hook on cover and ignore bites.
When it comes to flipping. Last week I found myself slowing down. Not setting immediately when I think it’s a bite and watching my line. You can normally feel the fish or see the line moving in a different direction!
Ariana Grande, heard a classical on 100 ponds 92, listen to Scherherazade, great tune to get stuck in your head! about the many adventures of Sinbad the Sailor
Not always true: The need to cull fish is specific to a situation. For example, I fish Knee Lake Manitoba for pike every year. It's 100% catch-and-release. On any given 4-day period, We land 40-50 inch trophies, lots of 30-36 inchers, and several hundred smaller ones. The little fish population provides forage for the large. All are released. The lake is stocked by God alone. No fishing pressure, yet we scatter around the lake to leave an even smaller footprint. The only fish we take out is a walleye for shore lunch, and those get big too. Nothing goes home. This is the natural way. No roads. 8-10 fishermen at a time on a 50-mile long lake. As close as it gets to the way the Creator made it. In my home waters of Illinois, fishermen descend on any body of water like locusts and suck it dry. Here, the fishing stinks. I have one lake near home that's catch-and-release, and the fishing's good there. Please stop evangelizing an all-or-nothing approach. Culling may be necessary in specific places because of human disruption, but it's not always true.
I’m sorry if you took my words to mean all or nothing. If you watched my recent conversations with a fisheries biologist here on the channel, you’d see that I know it’s a case by case basis
@@TylersReelFishing Yes I enjoyed those interviews. He's managing private ponds with specific goals. He knows a whole lot about that. I want to argue that, given the fishing pressure in our waters, the benefit of culling fish is an exception.

Watched while making dinner last night. Slow start, but then you found the right lure and got to catch in’ um. Love these uncuts.
Love these uncut videos
I’ve caught a lot of three pounders on Archie jigs. Usually of the black and blueflavor. I actually started jig fishing more because of your videos.
When are we getting a lake biwa japan video hahaha? Are there any dream locations that you've been wanting to go fish at?

Tyler, you should do a 100 ponds episode in new york city's central park. Almost nobody fishes it and it is a public fishery.

3lb last November on a white strike king structure jig with a rage crawl here in good ol’ San Antonio Texas

Hi Tyler, What two colors would you suggest for the Outkast Tackle Pro Swim Jig?
