I was there past Sunday fishing the beach I caught a couple of fluke from surf and I went across the street to the spot your on and one guy was catching couple Blues and other guy earlier called about 6. Is that spot always active with blues or other species? I never cought blue and really want to. Thanks
This was mid June. I got there when the blues came in only by luck as I was just passing by on the way home from a slow day in Point Pleasant Inlet. I then came back two days in a row and they were still there. Ever since then I'd check it out but the blues were gone. Seems like the blues come around heavy early summer and late fall in these waters along the Raritan and Navesink River. Sure they're around but they're just all over and there is too much area to look for them unless you have a real good network. I haven't been to the beaches at all this year.
