To be fair to Brooklyn after I uploaded and was checking the final draft of the video, I noticed that The Sun article title was misleading. It was written to look like a quote that she said when she did not say those words. There isn't much more to it than that though as the article is about a whole 11 sentences. I would also like to clarify that the stuff about confidence was not stated by Brooklyn. It was stated by the Snapchat video. What's Tat was the one who made that incredibly dumb statement. I'm not sure if I made that clear enough. Brooklyn (the first girl) did say that she is exercising and losing weight in responds to some of the comments she got because of the What's Tat video. However, she did not mention how much weight she had lost and she constantly forces her head forward to stretch her neck and hide her double chin in videos so I'll believe that she is losing weight when I see it. Now I'll wait for everyone to make a bunch of AI jokes about me that I completely invited in by making fun of the AI voice in the Snapchat video.
I love that you have such a high integrity to your content and always make comments like this if you feel you may be misunderstood. You're a very well thought person. Thanks for another great video 🎉
not just that featuring showing your kids at all. I respect TDM for never showing his kids at all in a form that could recognised from it. kids should be out of content completely even the accidental they went into frame should be blurred
It's not just using your children for likes sometimes those individuals are straight-up marketing their children to _very specific people._ if you can pick up what I'm putting down
I have been overweight my whole life. Sadly, I fell into fat acceptance for a while. These videos along with others snapped me out of it. I’m 25 pounds down and just getting started. Love watching this to motivate myself 😂
I agree, i'm well above normal BMI myself and the popular voices of the fat acceptance movements (actually i refuse to call it acceptance even - it's enabling) is one of the worst things you can do to an overweight person. If they take you at face value and your words help them continue defining themselves by their weight, ignoring the real catastrophe that will be their physical health (and psychological) and enable them to continue down that path, you are endorsing a long drawn-out death or disease process that i wouldn't wish upon anybody, that would make you a malignant enabler. An analogy i can think of would be if you had the same tone towards broken alcoholics, ("it's ok it's your body and you're beautiful even if you down a liter of rum every day and can't function in the slighest sense, i'm proud that you aren't letting the world get to you and that you are comfortable with yourself"). It's one thing to not define people by weight and treat people like the rest and with the same respect and another to encourage people to go down a path of ultimate self-destruction in the guise of "acceptance".
Offense is TAKEN and not GIVEN. They choice is yours. Personally, I don't get offended unless it comes from the mouth of someone I actually respect. I think they all can strive to be a lot less fragile. They have put far too much effort in trying to 'feel safe'. They could use to be dropped in the woods for a few days.
Get a tattoo in hopes of hiding something they could easily hide without all the ink on their skin, but ends up getting a tattoo in a place that draws even more attention to it and has people noticing the area around their chin(s) even more. “Gee golly gosh I don’t know why people are noticing this thing and making comments about it.”
Give it another generation or 2 medical professionals and politicians will have: visible tattoos, excessive face piercings, green/orange/blue hair, etc. I'm already seeing front end medical staff with the piercings and random colored hair. I couldn't imagine showing up next to somebody covered in tattoos/piercings as my lawyer when appearing in court for whatever reason

The word fat is already taken out of children's books here. Even words like weird and crazy were changed. I heard a guy saying sorry for ordering a black coffee once. This truly is the most pathetic generation of all time.
I saw a severely deformed girl on TikTok doing her skincare routine and I wanted to dropkick all the virtual signalers calling her "beautiful." Her damn eyeball was falling out of her skull!!!! Why is everyone so fake about being "nice" and lying through their teeth??? "Oh Tess Holliday! You are GOALS!!!" NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
I’m so proud of myself my two kids 11 and 13 and my husband. We all unanimously agreed to start eating better not only to lose weight but to just be healthier in general. We no longer bring stuff into the house like sugary pop or sugary cereal. We all noticed that portion control is an issue in our home and began making less food for meals. Guess what happened? I’ll give you a hint. None of us need a neck tattoo to “cover up” a double chin.
You're lucky you are young. At 62, I'm losing weight but my lower face just sags. Unless I can come up wtih $10,000 for plastic surgery I'm going to have to live with it!
It's fascinating to live in a culture where so many women assert how "strong" they are with foul language, then wilt like some Victorian era stereotype the moment someone says a benign word they don't like.
It's weird when lefties use the term "wholesome", cuz they have such a warped, backwards definition of it. They'll see toddlers being approached by nude adults in a Pride parade and be like "Aww, so wholesome." Meanwhile, a happy, traditional white nuclear family is terrifying fascism according to these nutcases.
Agreed! But then so many women are also easily swayed by pretty words. "Female empowerment"= telling women they are lesser than men and therefore need a handout "Girl boss"= slave yourself to corporations so they can make more money It's a bunch of flowery language with reprehensible ideas/actions being promoted, it's ridiculous how women are generally more emotionally in tune with their emotions, yet so many don't examine how their emotions are being used and manipulated by all these "progressive" social movements and corporations. Like, wtf women, _think_ a little more and dig deeper than the superficial feel good shit! And before some dumbass tries to say something about me being a man (as if that even matters, but it does to them) I'm not a man.
I hated my double chin and my fat stomach, so I got off my behind and did something about it. I didn’t spend a dime to lose the weight, if anything I saved money by cutting out all soda ( I drank a ridiculous amount of soda) and started going for long walks and working out in my apartment. I lost 96lbs and have kept it off for 7 years now. No tattoos to cover my fatness up, I actually wanted to get rid of it not hide it.
@@shutthefrontdoor733 I’ve done the same. It’s great, isn’t it! And yeah I’ve been called the same. I wear “Fatphobic” as a badge of honor. After all, I don’t want to get sat on! 😉

As a cigarette smoker, I'm sick and tired -probably from all the smoking- of being discriminated against! My body my choice! I have no desire to stop smoking, -because I can't- I have fully accepted myself as a smoker and others should too
It got very annoying, very quickly when their "body positivity" videos became the topic for some UA-camrs I watch. If they're actually sincere about their positivity, why isn't it inclusive? If someone wants to lose weight to help themselves feel good, why are they getting torn down for it by these "supportive" people? Someone else's weightloss journey isn't affecting them, but they feel the need to sabotage it. Even people who look after their bodies, and eat right get actual hate from this "body positivity" group. They can't seriously expect people be nice to them if they're going to be toxic to everyone who isn't overweight.
I love it how plus size women get mad at good looking guys when they reject them and say “Hkw dare you judge me on my appearance”, yet they have no problem looking at a fat guy and saying “Lose weight Fatty”. Stop saying it was on the inside that counts because that’s clearly not true
People who get tattoos because they're "rebellious and don't care what people think" are ironically the most insecure people who worry about what people think.
Nobody can convince me other wise that every person on the planet earth with a body full of tattoos is not fighting trauma from their past! Nothing else can posses someone to go thru that much pain
@@TheScoobyRawShowOr they just like tattoos. I'm not far from covered and I'm happy as hell and love my life and love all my dumb tattoos from my 20s. I enjoy it, I see a therapist for anxiety (like tons of non tattooed people) and I don't have childhood trauma. Everything got so much better after getting on anti anxiety medications and I still love my tattoos. It's just a silly generalization. Also, my anxiety is mostly caused from my permanent Tinnitus as a result of ear damage. My pain tolerance is also ridiculous, just naturally. Again, generalization of every majorly tattooed person on the planet is ridiculous.
@@deathberryblastYou're completely right, it's stupid to think that getting tattoos it's because of traumas, or calling attention, yet, of course you change and you get the most attention with tattoos, it's like choosing the best of your clothing, that's because you want a good impression. There would be reasons of getting tattoos as traumas, mental issues, attention, but this is the same for people without tattoos, it's just the way to behave that tells more about we than a tattoo...
@@TheScoobyRawShowthat's just a stereotype. Some people just like them to express themselves the way women do with makeup, or are they also using doing makeup for attention? Exactly no you just sound stupid making up random sob stories for the most simplest things!!
From experience, the areas of the body that have more fat are less painful to get tattooed while the bony areas are the real painful ones, so she probably could get her whole body tattooed without feeling much pain. It would take a few decades to finish though
What's ironic is that these body positive influencers will say "We're perfect the way we are, we don''t need to change ourselves and loose weight" and then they'll go around contouring their double chin, getting neck tattoos like this lady etc....
In this particular case, I think she really doesn't plan to ever lose weight (since she's just 'big boned'), so in her cholesterol filled brain, this isn't a temporary feeling.
Nah. I considered my tattoo designs for some considerable tome before I committed to having them. I had an idea, showed my chosen tattoo artist my idea and he customised it for me. It was a step by step process and ensured I have ko regrets. My reason for having the artwork is not a knee jerk reaction to having a double chin! I understand when people have tattoos to cover scars, scars cam be a negative reminder of an event in their life so they customise the area with art. I don't understand that being fat with a double chin is a reason to make the chin look smaller and have a neck tattoo. In this case, the lady's chin looks no smaller. She does however have some nice artwork on her neck though.
I just remember this one coworker of mine. She's honestly one of the laziest coworkers on my custodial team. (She'll literally do crochet work in the break room instead of cleaning her assigned building). One day, she mentions that one of the other coworkers gave her grief for not wearing the collared shirt for work (we usually have to wear these as uniforms for work during days like graduation ceremonies, spirit weeks, etc.). Anyways, she said that she found out a way to cheat the dress code. What comes next is some of the most ludicrous sidestepping of a policy I've ever heard of: "So what I do is cut off the collar off of one of my other collared polos and simply sew it onto another t-shirt. There, problem solved." Now I usually have a long fuse at work, and I don't tend to be so dry with any of my coworkers. This was one of the exceptions. "Y'know, if you put as much effort into doing your job instead of bypassing a situational dress code, you might actually go somewhere." And the "OHHHHHHH" that occurred from my coworkers just absoluted pissed her off. She found me after that and asked if I wanted to be on her bad side. "Hey, if that's what it'll take to get you off your rump, then sign me the heck up." Seriously, people. Fix your problems. And this goes for both genders. Bending the rules doesn't solve anything.
Funny how people will simultaneously say that everyone "deserves to be free to express themselves," yet also claim they should have immunity from criticism, and they are completely unaware of the irony.
It is so important to continue to push back against the narrative. So many people will suffer terrible health consequences (not to mention emotional issues) as a result of this "trend."

Body positivity is my husband saying “F you” to all the people who said he would never live a “normal” life because of his cerebral palsy. It’s my niece (who has Cystic Fibrosis) getting a first class degree from a Russell Group university despite her illness (and, no, she did not ask for and was not given any “accommodations” because of it). That is people being positive about their lives despite their disabilities.
It’s the complete opposite! I remember years ago my brother and I were doing some floor work and cutting pieces out in the parking lot of the business we were opening. My brother at the time was straight up really flabby, out of shape and pale. He walked over towards the street where there was a lot of traffic and took off his shirt and started flexing and I remember thinking how confident that mofo was 🤣😂. His confidence glows and is reflected in what a successful business man and family man he is. He’s in a lot better shape now too.
The crazy part is that 500 dollars could have gotten her a crazy amount of time at a decent gym. I think planet fitness near my house runs a deal where its 50 dollars for a YEAR. Contrary to what people say, being overweight is a luxury that they choose. Living healthy always gets the negative attention as the "richy rich luxury hobby" and yeah some health foods/products/gyms are ungodly expensive. But eating normal portioned meals, sticking with water instead of soda, and doing some simple cardio would be all these people need to lose some serious weight.

"It's not up to others to judge" Your right, your completely right. The problem is, you put yourself out there on public social media. You are trying to create an audience based on your image. Thus making it up to others to judge. How do you think someone decides if they want to watch and support someone? Do you think that would fall in-line with "judging?" Of course it does. They judge who you are and what you represent and thats how you gain their support. You cant put yourself in the public sphere and say people cant judge or criticize you, its not how that works.

This reminds me of the overweight women I worked with that had caked on makeup everyday, and I always wondered why they didn't spend those 30 minutes working out instead of trying to mask the obvious problem with their appearance.
The way I see it, there is no point in wearing make-up or getting your nails done if you're not even going to eat healthy, exercise and keep up with personal hygiene. Things like make-up and nails are supposed to enhance your appearance, not hide obvious bad choices like poor hygiene and excess weight.
Weight isn't always something people can control, and sometimes women just want to wear makeup to express themselves. I'm thinn myself, however I love wearing makeup as it's a form of creative expression, not everyone wears makeup to "mask" their problems.
@@charliiwoozel3278 The chances of having a medical condition that prevents weight loss is pretty low. In the majority of cases weight IS something that can be controlled. Telling people otherwise is just dooming them to a life of unhealth and lack of beauty.

ngl, if someone tries to use a tattoo to hide something, that just makes me hyperfocus on that spot, like turning a scar into stitches or in this case, using a neck tattoo to hide a double chin. Things I wouldn't notice before I just can't stop looking at. It has the opposite effect.
She clearly didn't fully think this through, as tattoos tend to draw more attention to whatever area they're placed on. Nobody cares about someone's forearms, but if they're tatted up, all of a sudden they become the focal point.

I’ve earned a living as a professional tattoo artist since 1997 and opened my own shop in 2005. At this point I’ve tattooed thousands of people and not once have I had anyone ask if they thought a neck tattoo (or a tattoo on any other part of their body) would make them appear more slim. Getting a tattoo can definitely give one a slight confidence boost, but it definitely shouldn’t be used to repress any issues with self worth. Things like that need to be meditated upon and gotten to the bottom of so you can heal and figure out what GENUINE productive changes you can make to be and feel better. A gold dipped turd is still a turd.
@@NewStarConstellation no problem! I won’t discount the initial confidence boost, and there is way more nuance to why people get tattooed than what (generally right leaning (and I’m right leaning haha)) critics generalize a lot of times. It's sickening to watch parents that use their children to push their own agenda. It reminds me of the parents pushing kids to believe they are the wrong sex. I recently watched one on two kids, one make and one female, both too young to even understand the issue, but the parents were defending that these two children knew enough to begin to swap their sex around. One child obviously was working off the attention that the first child got and the first child was the youngest and in no way would understand the difference between changing their sex, versus just wearing the clothes of the opposite sex.

I have been overweight my whole life. Sadly, I fell into fat acceptance for a while. These videos along with others snapped me out of it. I’m 25 pounds down and just getting started. Love watching this to motivate myself 😂
Well done. Not many people snap out of it. You faced reality.
keep up the good work, don't get discouraged when results aren't as apparent as desired. it's a long and worthwhile journey!
Keep at it! Exercise and being healthy is a nice feeling ^-^ You got this!
That is amazing!! Hope you’re doing well so far?
How is it going?

It's fascinating to live in a culture where so many women assert how "strong" they are with foul language, then wilt like some Victorian era stereotype the moment someone says a benign word they don't like.

It's weird when lefties use the term "wholesome", cuz they have such a warped, backwards definition of it.

Idk, I want a couple one day and only for things that are meaningful to me.
What comes next is some of the most ludicrous sidestepping of a policy I've ever heard of:
"So what I do is cut off the collar off of one of my other collared polos and simply sew it onto another t-shirt. There, problem solved."
Now I usually have a long fuse at work, and I don't tend to be so dry with any of my coworkers. This was one of the exceptions.
"Y'know, if you put as much effort into doing your job instead of bypassing a situational dress code, you might actually go somewhere."
And the "OHHHHHHH" that occurred from my coworkers just absoluted pissed her off.
She found me after that and asked if I wanted to be on her bad side.
"Hey, if that's what it'll take to get you off your rump, then sign me the heck up."
Seriously, people. Fix your problems. And this goes for both genders. Bending the rules doesn't solve anything.

You can do both, explain that the word is bad and why, I did it all the time when I worked with children. Many don’t understand what it means/origin and when they are told see it’s wrong to use it
Never get a Tattoo you cannot cover with everyday clothing.
My being fat is not a choice, my being fat is due to my body shutting down due to disabilities I didn’t cause to myself. That being said 90% of today’s super obese are their own faults

@@CdrRogdan I understand that, but bringing makeup into the debate of weight is rather distasteful.
It's relevant because makeup is a mask that accentuates beauty and takes time to apply. They could instead use that time to workout and have real beauty, instead of a lie.
You know what helps with double chin? A calorie deficit.
And its not even a hard thing, 1k cal deficit daily is manageable
@@DennisLexuss I disagree here. I do think that it is doable, but not sustainable for most people, especially if they are this unhealthy to begin with. I am not a professional trainer, but I have trained some friends and relatives, and I found that the ones who start big and go all out, they always end up falling short. The ones who start slowly, start with maintenance calories, then go with -100, -300, -500 and so on, those are the ones who end up healthy on the long run.
@@DennisLexuss depends on the person. As a short woman with a big appetite, I can do a 500 calorie deficit but not 1000. My hunger gets too high & I get very irritable and unable to sleep.
@@cringeproof100 ^^^ Under 1200 daily is not healthy for most women. I was on 1200 for almost a year, now struggling to eat over 1 meal a day
@@Miaeka My wife is tiny, and I can tell when she's not been eating enough because it makes her absolutely miserable. She used to work for a terrible friend who wouldn't pay her except in room and board, and then kept her too busy to eat most days. She was 85 lb. when we met, and even now she struggles to remember to eat.
Fortunately, like all hobbits, she can't resist the allure of fried potatoes, especially with onions and mushrooms.
I cannot express how much I love this channel. Seriously, thank you for exposing the community to the lack of responsibility and brain cells that are apart of this side of society. Your channel provides me with hope knowing that people in these situations might stumble upon them and change their lifestyles for the better.
"Obese people, who chose to be that way, to completely consume..."
Did you do that on purpose?
I approve.
Now everyone that gets a neck tattoo is gonna have a lot of job opportunities
lol they wish
“It’s unique and cool” as if people haven’t been getting neck tattoos for decades.
ngl, if someone tries to use a tattoo to hide something, that just makes me hyperfocus on that spot, like turning a scar into stitches or in this case, using a neck tattoo to hide a double chin.
You are the realist creator on UA-cam and I’m so happy to hear someone speak truth and not be afraid to do it . Thank you so much
While in my car I was listening to your content with my windows cracked. Someone randomly decided to throw a brick through my passenger window. Aggravated, I jumped out of the car and asked the guy why he threw a brick at my window. He told me how annoyed he was that he was having trouble hearing greatness.
You are naming BlackRock and Vanguard. That's the kind of content I always hoped you put up. After years of watching some of your videos every now and them, you got me to subscribe.
I feel like it would be important to mention or even make a video about how blackrock and vanguard exploit people investing into large etf's for retirement (for example ticker SPY) where poeple would expect Blackrock and vanguard to use their share votes for the benifit of the shareholder, but they rather use it to push this ESG stuff. Also, many IRAs do this.
You're the only commentary content creator I watch because you are unbiased and give really good advice for both genders. Unlike others, you point out the things men do wrong as well, which is more helpful, in my opinion. I've been watching you for almost 2 years now. Your videos helped me as a young woman. Keep up the great work!
He's not red pilled though. He says that himself. He's just a social commentary/interpersonal dynamics/psychology channel. At one point years ago he was creating MGTOW content but he's moved past that type of content now.
I wouldn't consider him a RedPill guy. I don't think he's ever mentioned the pills, has he? He just seems RedPill because he agrees with them on the things they are correct about.
@Liam Collins Yeah, sorry. I just forgot that word, so I said red pilled. Thanks
@@connorperrett9559 He mentioned in the past. But yeah, it'd be wrong to call him that now. My mistake.
I wouldn't say he's unbiased. He certainly has a leaning to the right, but he does a much better job at acknowledging when an opposing side has a good point than many other creators.
Working out was not an option. Lol
I feel like walking around the neighborhood is cheaper and more effective than trying to hide that you’re fat.
"A gold dipped turd is still a turd" couldn't have said it any better. wonder how these girls would react if someone said this.
Now this is a very insightful answer from someone who not only works tattoos but knows background too.
Thank you for sharing.
@@NewStarConstellation no problem! I won’t discount the initial confidence boost, and there is way more nuance to why people get tattooed than what (generally right leaning (and I’m right leaning haha)) critics generalize a lot of times. But that excitement is novel, it’s like how you feel when you get a new car, after a month you’re over it and you are still the same person with the same problems at the end of the day. I don’t think pampering oneself once in awhile or vibin on yourself in a “you go girl” sense isn’t fun or healthy here and there, but that veneer of confidence if not understood for what it is will leave you feeling empty and worthless if that’s what you rely on as your sense of self.
@@jmgmetal Again, I agree totally. As someone with experience with people with mental health problems I can totally relate to that; it's as simple and true as that.
Seems you are a good observer and /or have experience in psychology. Does this come with being a tattoo artist? Serious question.

People need to stop putting their trama and insecurities on the internet
Absolutely agree with this! Been seeing some weird shit on the internet these days, I need to take some time off.

Right? No one cares about what happens during your day and what your eating (not you you, but directed at these incelets) why do they think people will give any form of help? I see that social media is a platform to push narratives that can't be challenged.
Why can't they drink their problems away like I do? Pfff

That is quite an interesting place to put tattoo inks with heavy metals in them (all tattoo inks have heavy metals in them lol), especially when it’s so close to major lymph nodes. It’s not abnormal/uncommon for tattoo ink to be found in lymph nodes for people with tattoos
Been loving this content for 4+ years. Keep it up my friend! Expose the lunacy.
This guys voice actually hurts my eardrums. I applaud those who are able to make it through a whole 20 minutes of it. I applaud the creator even more for somehow managing to build a large channel criticizing peoples life choices while sounding like a plugged nose scrapping down a chalk board. Kudos to him.
Thanks, i agree we need more people like him
I watch his content a lot, but totally agree. His voice sounds nasally and he doesn’t look at all like he sounds. I still enjoy the message though.
It's not positivity, it's laziness
It's sickening to watch parents that use their children to push their own agenda.
It reminds me of the parents pushing kids to believe they are the wrong sex.
I recently watched one on two kids, one make and one female, both too young to even understand the issue, but the parents were defending that these two children knew enough to begin to swap their sex around.
One child obviously was working off the attention that the first child got and the first child was the youngest and in no way would understand the difference between changing their sex, versus just wearing the clothes of the opposite sex.
This stuff is serious, not just a matter of kids pretending.
Sugary drinks like cola and frappes are the worst because you consume them at a much faster rate. At least with a Big Mac, you get some nutrition from the beef patty and vegetables but drinks like that are just drinking extra weight.
Fascinating take. I love it. Knowing dove benefits from obesity and then promotes body positivity, is a game changer
Ask a mechanic or someone in a STEM field about the words we aren't allowed to use more. Names of tools, brake system components, software and hardware etc has been "updated" by people who don't even know how to change a battery or tire.
Oh no, can't tell someone to r word the timing anymore because it's offensive in a completely different context.

Using these technical words and offending the customers is just weeding out the stupid of them. It's satisfying seeing a stupid customer say they will never come back.
You can express yourself with a face or neck tattoo, just dont plan on expressing yourself as employable.
I have a tattoo, it’s the only one but it isn’t small. it’s on my wrist/ at least one quarter of my arm. It’s of Van Gogh’s painting The Almond Blossom. Tree. I love Van Gogh’s paintings, and as an artist myself I often struggle motivating myself to draw. Van Gogh is not a perfect man by any means but I can easily relate to him and I admire the unique way he represented the world in his artwork. I remember watching a YT video about him, and the narrator said “[Van Gogh] didn’t paint because of his mental illness- he painted in spite of it.” And that really encouraged me. I also see Van Gogh as a reminder/ warning to not end up like him. Especially since I struggle with depression myself. I’ve been doing good for myself these past few years and I’m aiming to improve even more.

If something is addictive and subsidized by the government, you definitely shouldn't eat it.
The last time I ate a Pop-Tart my throat could feel it was fake since your throat is your first line of defense for the immune system
This 👏🏻👏🏻
Your immune system fights against viruses and infections; heavily processed food is neither of those, so stop saying stupid things like that.
By the way, you can't "feel" if something will make you ill or not. If that was the case, nobody would ever get food poisoning, or get poisoned at all.
Also, I'd like to know where you got that the throat is the immune system's first line of defense, and by that I mean "which scientific paper"?
That was entirely in your head, buddy.
