      Sorry for the late reply. Thanks for your feedback. I did consider what you suggest about calling it "How to", But there are so many "How to" titles, so I decided to name it from my own reality point-of-view of checking the brakes. But thanks again for your feedback.

      It is possible adjustment is not corrwct, & the brakes are grabbing the drum, even when no brake-pedal or hand-brake is used.

    lol they dont look evenly worn ... all that time an effort to check ... should of done a shoe replacement while your in there free Labour at that point

    Hey mate is your ute lifted? If so did you adjust the brake proportioning valve?

      my ute is factory-standard.. with heavy-duty rear leaf springs. There is no suspension lift.
