I just want to shout out to this guy. He always makes these videos fun and enjoyable. People can complain about, that he is always positive about every bike and stuff he tries, but I think it is totally fine. He is that kind of person. He always points out some negatives too, but generally he is a positive, lively person. And I think he is honest and really genuinely enjoys riding bikes, no matter what is it or where is it. And it is a good thing, because I think the same way. Bikes are fun and riding them is awesome. I really like this channel and it's content. Always fun, informative and professional. So, thank you! Cheers
I like that the presenter is positive. Doesn’t take away from the accuracy of his observations, just presents in a fun and approachable style. And you believe what he says because he can legitimately rip. I stumbled across this channel a few weeks ago and I love it!
I’m so glad Chris had a good time here in the US, its great that we were able to give a bit of hospitality back to someone who makes such fantastic videos for us 😇
To clarify for people wanting to visit from The UK, Tamarack, Idaho is close to 1400 miles from Alaska. That’s the same distance as from Brighton to John O’Groats… and back.
"Seppos/Yanks are so dumb. They don't even know basic geography! They know of nothing that's not in their own country and under their noses. The education system is a joke" Proceeds to say Idaho is near Alaska 😂. Sure, and Vladivostok is near St. Petersburg, Munich is near Kiel, and Perth is near Brisbane 😂.
I like everything about bikes , be it racing or touring or off roading. But unfortunately I’m not able to ride anymore as I’ve my responsibility. Love every content of yours…
That 390 engine is an absolute riot. It's crazy how good and powerful it is. But the ergos are just too small. It feels horrible cramped, but if you are a smaller person it is a wonderful bike to have as an option!
Great riding in Idaho... after riding through on the TAT (including the section East of Boise that most coast to coasters miss... which is very good) the Idaho BDR is near the top of my list. Been following Chris for years, would love to see the UK riding personalities like Chris coming over the pond for fun in the US more often.
I just bought the 2023 390 spoked wheel, love it I think more larger CC riders will start to drift this way , why take all the extra weight if you don't really need it, every bike has it's advantages .........
Am i missing something? All the bike world stuff feels like a teaser for a video that never comes, 3 days riding and the video isnt even 10 minutes long
I did look into a couple of the KTM rallies, but one thing that stood out is they insist on fully comprehensive insurance, which isn't something is common in Spain and some other countries. Was also disappointed to see the Auz/NZ rallies previously were 4-5 days, where as the European ones were just 3 days. They also insisted on knee braces or other gear over just basic protective equipment.
Wish they would change the stance of the bike and clearance. Would love to see a real dirt bike rake on suspension? Something like the Honda 300 Rally comes w 29hp but if you put ECU and better airflow and new exhaust on it not you are at 40+ hp and below the price of KTM. But I do like the technology pack and the only reason this bike is still being considered w the Honda for my next purchase! Then the Honda reliability I haven't met a KTM owner who has had the same bike for 5 yrs yet. I have met I bet 200 Honda owners that have had their bikes for 5 yrs to 15 yrs. Would be great if KTM made a real dual sports bike instead of a great road bike that can be ridden off-road too! Also If Honda could add a tch pack!
@@flamintasty moron hear. My 2021 890r spent more time in the shop than on the road. First light came on at like 10 miles. Huge disappointment. Fun bike when it was on…
Chris gets an immediate like before watching, what a legend 👍

Thanks Péter, exactly what we want to get across, bikes are awesome!

I hope he meant getting close to Canada.

Lol, yeah. Maybe he meant almost that far north. Still a beautiful state.
That was a great event, good trails especially the first day..
KTM 390 adv and the proficiency of the group make even the single track section look possible on a new three day route
This video really makes me want to get a small capacity adventure bike !
The content I come to YT for
It’s good to see you get out to America and do some exploring.
"Oh, you're a coach the BMW adventure school?...turns out all we have left are 390s..."
That's awesome. That's why I ride too.
I'd kill to go on a ride like this. Hope y'all had a great time.
Great video, a triumph tiger 900 rally pro offroad video chris would be amazing!
keep it up !

Handlebar risers and different foot pegs work wonders on them.

People underestimate this lil ktm

Or you go with the 690
Sometimes I get to thinking I would like to keep the 390 and get a 790 or 890 too ......@@shanebrown2963

Wonder why KTM didn't arrange for the spoked version that they just launched in India. It even has fully adjustable suspension.
How is the Adjustable suspension on the Adv 390 ? Does it help with the offroad ?
That looks distinctly un-crap!
Would like to see it next to millyards v5000 ( for comparison)

this looks like a blast! i'd love to ride trails with a huge group like that.
What a job
Can we please get a video on what bikes Chris has???
I love my country of America!
I hate the political scum of late that threatens to end it as we know it.
That KTM ride looks like a fabulous time.
Hey, Can someone tell how I can learn wheelies on this sweet machine? 🥺
If only KTM can work on the reliability issue with their product... 😮💨
✌✌✌✌✌✌
Jesus can change yr life ❤

A KTM that didn't miss a beat. Is this April Fools?
No just creative editing.
🥱
lol foreal
The only people who still prattle on about KTM reliability, are morons and people who don’t own a KTM 🙄
