Everything Everywhere All At Once - Multiverse Scene
Вставка
- Опубліковано 24 чер 2022
- Everything Everywhere All At Once is a story about an aging Chinese immigrant who is swept up in an insane adventure, where she alone can save the world by exploring other universes connecting with the lives she could have led.
I love how the policeman saw a woman literally turned into a stone and he was like "Damn, why they always gotta do it"
YEEEEEES
All the time
It's a transition. It's akin to a visual j-cut.
The cop didn't actually see the rock.

This movie is the real “Multiverse of Madness” and I’ll die on that hill.
Ain’t no hill that’s a fact my man
it’s telling when a movie with “multiverse” in the title handles the concept pretty poorly
Better than Multiverse of Madness
@@samuelbrandon4832 Amen!
Exactly and yet there people saying this movie is overrated and I'm over thinking Multiverse of Madness is overrated asf and how people use excuses for the movie.
One of the frames is her face painted on a literal Easter Egg, brilliant.
Personally, my favorite one is the "Illuminati symbols hidden in Hollywood movies for one frame".
Also on a tree branch
i luv tennis
One of the frame is her and the cg crew on zoom call, that’s even better!
Around the 0:11 second mark is her as a cat in CAT CITY. Excellent!!!!
The fact that, at the end, she becomes a stone, is so poetically touching, so sad...
Which is basically saying she became numb of all sorts of emotional feelings. Like a Cold Stone.

This movie was like nothing I've ever seen; it was like coming out of a psychedelic trip. So touching and incredible.
I've seen this film twice, 1st time on shrooms with a friend + a 2nd time with my brother pretty drunk lol. Gunna show my gf this movie this week which will be my first time seeing it sober so im hyped 😂 but the my first viewing of this film was an exerience i'll never forget. I timed it too perfectly to recognize that honestly the film was sequenced like a psychedelic trip, all the way to the comedown / end. Even watching certain scenes out of context now on youtube have me in TEARS as emotions + feelings i felt are drawn out again. Idk what else to say other than this film was a masterpiece and i'm SO happy i watched it on the big screen both times
Good way to put it
@@Bellavista26 movies like this deserve to be seen sober.
It was one hell of a trip when I first watched it while being high af. However, I spent every second minute travelling through the multiverse myself, so I missed a lot of amazing details :p
seing this on the big screen was amazing and stunning. It was so brilliant my eyes couldn't keep up. The sensation was that I was also flying through all of those multiverses with Evelyn.
I watched this on a plane 😂😂 really sad I didn't see it in theaters
Freaking psychedelic
100% agree. It felt like my first trip for a sec
Can't believe this life of Evelyn is living a worse life than a "Grape Evelyn"
Grape Evelyn was much better than our Evelyn at being a grape
And probably, better at grape taxes
Vase Evelyn.
There is peace in simplicity

Unlike Doctor Strange: multiverse of madness, that didn't have much multiverse and absolutely no madness , this movie actually lives to that subtitle
the effort put into this one scene is amazing. each single FRAME in this 42 second sequence is a different evelyn. I put the video to play at 0.25 speed and looked at every single frame. some of them were really weird, like evelyns face printed on a tree, a grpe, and an easter egg. there was one where she was a literal alien. this scene is too well done.
Some of them are repeated
True, was a great effort. But the Evelyns repeat many times
Well there was one of just a random guy with the words “I luv tennis” by him 💀
Lmao, more like the same 4 Evelyn's repeated 100x over with random images of Evelyn's face poorly photoshopped onto something like a tree or a baby. So no, not a lot of effort. Probably took like 2 hours to edit together
You can go frame by frame with shortcuts , and ;
In one frame you can see the VFX team editing the film on zoom. The best part is that they were all self taught with free online tutorials!

I've seen an interview with the vfx guys, the doughnut is the first thing you learn using that particular software!!
A lot of people are saying she “turned into a stone.”
I think it’s way deeper than that. She chose to find a universe where emotions, bills, hurt, and the daily humdrum of life doesn’t exist. Where you can just sit and do nothing, and that’s okay because that’s all is required from that universe.
It’s more than her “becoming a rock/hitting rock bottom.” It’s her running away from all the lives she’s now living and attached to, to live a life that she truly desired when everything became overwhelming.
It’s simple, but poetic in a way.
She really was everything everywhere all at once
The over 80% of the editing in this film was made with 5 people, let that sink in
I swear, everyone involved in making this movie deserves Oscars.

Sucks that the trailers tricked me into thinking this movie would be dogshit and not amazing so I didn't see it in theaters LOL
Probably the greatest film editing in recent years

Notice how its at 0:08 that she stops screaming, and becomes just "._.", disconnected and uncaring
Probably top 10 scenes in cinema of all time. This paired with the rock scene that follows is the perfect representation of what this movie is trying to get across. To watch this movie and get to the point where Evelyn screams through every universe is so cathartic and when she’s seen everything she goes to the most simple thing ever: A rock. And thru being a rock we learn to just be, live, be grateful, and realize we all have a purpose for being here. Beautiful!
I'm really tired of all the wild hyperbole that gets thrown around these days. This is nowhere near "Top 10 scenes in cinema of all time." If you slow it down it's the same 4 Evelyn's and then the occasional stock image with Evelyn's face photoshopped over it. They even threw in total goof frames like the "I luv tennis" guy. This scene doesn't even involve any acting whatsoever. And the rock "scene" isn't a scene, it's rocks with text popping up on the screen. The movie was cool; but you all sound like a bunch of goobers acting like it was some kind of revolutionary masterpiece. It's Dr. Strange with Asians.

The multiverse scene always makes me cry for whatever reason, maybe it’s because of how beautiful it all is or maybe its all the emotions i feel from it but either which reason it is, i will always cry. I love everything everywhere all at once, this might sound cheesy but, the movie made me almost think more positive, it somehow changed something in me - so i am happy that it has won a lot of awards!
This is why this movie should come with an epilepsy warning.
This is the scariest part of the film. Multiverse of madness at its most horrific. I want to close my eyes yet I can't. I let the nothingness and hopelessness about my existence consume me at this rate. All Evelyns really hit rock (pun intended) bottom there.
This relatively low budgeted film knows how to do Multiverse right more than Marvel. Wow.

This is what dying feels like. As someone who has been declared brain dead but survived , this is what it feels like when u die. U see ur life, or different versions of yourself flash before your eyes. It’s really beautiful. Death is not something to be feared.
Is it true?
@ArohiSwami well when someone dies it's been recorded that the brain goes in a similar manner as dreaming, there's been a lot of people that said that when they died they experienced random jolts of memories like a dream
Seeing this bit on the big screen was one of the most astonishing things I’ve ever seen in a movie.
