Call of Duty Warzone is in a rough state right now. The DMR-14 is overpowered, the Diamatti akimbo is broken, the Cold War weapons integration is largely bugged, there are more hackers than ever, and now streamers can cheat to get bot lobbies. This is a shame because I really enjoy Warzone. It is my favorite CoD product since BO3 if not ever. Why won't Activision fix these issues?

Wrong, yesterday my battle pass became inactive for a couple of minutes and somehow I got extra tier skips plus a prestige key without actually earning it

Everybody had the thought at some point or another that Activision was spreading their dev teams too thin. But the hype for new content masked it until everybody realized how poorly integrated that content was. It's like the entire community has to pool together in new records of backlash to get any sort of response from Activision.

They don't care because it has not negatively affected their wallets.
It’s actually making them money because people are buying the full version of CW to upgrade the DMR and all the other broken guns.
Let's see what happens when content creators and streamer stops playing the game, and makes video showcasing their new skins. Of course there is a lack of alternatives to play so most force themselves to play it.

The solution is really simple: Make there wallets hurt... dont play dont buy skins use the bit lobby exploit if known its the only way they we notice it when the money isnt right

It makes bad players seem good, I didn’t think the gun was so broken But as soon as I used it the game was so easy. It doesn’t take any skill.
@@Tsukino1011 so true man. It compensates for bad play and bad positioning. I fear the only way around this gun is to take it out of the game OR make it a DMR like the SKS and make the ammo type sniper.

Shotguns don't work, at this point they take more skill and they are far less optimal than diamattis or SMG at close range

When I first used the DMR I was quite shocked as I thought it was a 10 shot M1 Garand but no ,20 shot semi auto laserbeam of a rifle
Tbh I was annoyed by M4 and grau users at the time but the game was so simple at the time. The M4 and Grau weren’t like super OP or anything unlike the FFAR and AUG right now.

I feel that beating SBMM has become the key thing on everybody's mind since Cold War released. Nobody is playing the game and enjoying it, all the content I am being served on YT is about how to beat SBMM, 2nd accounts, reverse boosting. This game is receiving really bad press. If you are a new person trying to get in and are looking for some guides I feel like you will get pushed away pretty quick.
Dude there is hacked ps4 controllers now, with anti-recoil.... it gets WAY WORSE. Kids hacking without even having fun, just to hack and brag they get a win at the end to everyone who knows they are hacking. That is what this game is now.
If I were Activision, I'd just axe SBMM altogether. Sure, it might bring money and it might have been an investment... But... Other games don't do it, they've been just fine, they do have many other ways of keeping casual players (Like different gamemodes which they do have but just insist on vaulting) and interesing them in the game.
And also adding a Ranked playlist, I mean, if they do it with Call of Duty Mobile, what is keeping them really?

@@JusttAlf Literally if they just make an "ranked" playlist in WZ, MW19 AND BOCW and axe SBMM for the casual playlists everyone would be happy, look at Rocket League for example.
you got casual 1s to 4s, you got ranked 1s to 3s and the extra gamemodes like rumble, dropshot, hoops and snowday (all ranked)
Guess what, Casual gamemodes gets played a lot while ranked playmodes are populair aswell, obviously the ranked match based on ping (1st) and then your MMR (which you can't see unless you use a 3rd party tool, which most use so eh)
If they do that, make the CoD tourny whatever only register on the ranked playlists, that way they won't cheese the system (since it'll hard match you against your skill rating) and for added measure, make it so we can our skill level (diamond 1 or gold 2 etc, don't need to be specific) and make it impossible for someone of 2 ranks lower (like a diamond 2 can't rank with a gold 2, not sure how WZs act, is it gold into diamond or gold into platinum, i'm going gold into platinum into diamond, so 2 ranks lowers than diamond) that way they also counter the "join a fresh account for easy lobbies" because then they can't join the ranked matchmaking with that account.
Yes it would suck if you want to play with friends/viewers who are not as good as yourself (or vice versa) but it would kill the entire bot lobby situation AND keep their precious SBMM in place.
i always get on and hope to have a good time but end up leaving feeling mad and like i’ve wasted a few hours of my life.

If they removed the SMBB and balance weapons they can save WZ. If they dont do that WZ will die and bring COD with it.

This is a PHAT mood. I really love the EBR but that sniper ammo cap really sucks and I prefer bolt action weapons. However that’s how it should be, these weapons are marksman rifles and should use larger rounds and have harsher recoil. The DMR is basically all the pros of the EBR with the damage and range but it acts like the FAL.
The problem is there was no good way to integrate black ops. Completely different Engine. They need to get rid of the annual release
They honestly should have forced Treyarch to use the new engine. Just feels like Treyarch refuses to accept that they aren't perfect and everything is someone else's problem once they finish development

Rebirth island is refreshing. The matches are short enough that if something stupid happens I don’t care.

@@dertythegrower Plunder is still good, but it's where people upgrade their DMR and mac10, at least in Rebirth you get random guns, this till people get their equipment and ruin the game with their usual DMR and mac10 combo, but hey at least you respawn
Load out drops are broken. Not everyone’s free load out is placed a distance from them. They are literally giving ppl loadouts for sitting in one spot.

@@mattwillerton6775 do your research, the spelling was originally realize. Realise didn't appear in print until the mid-1700s, whereas realize had been appearing in print since the early 1600s. Can't be "Americanized" when it predates the existence of the country.

Went from winning at least 3-5 games a week with my normal squad to one win in the past 4 weeks (although we dropped 32 combined kills). The Cold War integration has just been a damn shame, I feel like I’m getting flashbacks to the OP 725 and FAL back when I ran S&D on Modern Warfare
So yeah, the thing with the MAC10 blueprint is that the damage profile is completely different than the pre-nerf MAC10, so I dunno how unintentional that could've been. It had completely different damage values for each body part.

That just doesn't make sense, honestly, why would you even consider making a blueprints stronger without mentioning it. I have a much morse theory:
They basically just copy and pasted existing guns and then slapped the models on them and changed the stats. It just happen to forgot to change to MAC 10 stats.
JGOD proved it and it's kind of a legal issue when it's proven to be intentional, but I guess there are not enough laws in the gaming industry, still in 2021. I hear Cyberpunk devs were slapped with a fine, don't know what that's about, but it's the kind of thing we need. Punish bad intentions. Apparently in an article, "Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt Red might be paying a fine for misleading investors and failing to fix its game, pending a government investigation".
You know it's bad when you hop on to warzone to try out parkour shortcuts rather than fight other players.
Totally been doing this in plunder. End up wiping out squads that annoy me but then I can’t practice my shortcuts.

The DMR's need to be on Sniper ammo, and they need to do less damage/penetration to vehicles. 1 mag of DMRs into a jeep or bertha and that thing is toast.

It's so stupid, the MR's in mw use sniper ammo but the Tac Ars which are the MR equivalents use AR ammo? Makes zero sense
I mean if the EBR and SKS have to have sniper ammo why shouldn't the DMR or Type 63, Type 63 is almost as bad, absolutely melts people especially with the increased fire rate barrel
You shouldn't be afraid about being negative toward the game. Even if you sold your soul to Activision, you should be critical about the problems that plague cod games.

I just came back to the game and I don’t have the dmr or Mac 10 or the pistols (forgot there name) and I have a kd of 1.44, doing ok early but as soon as people get load outs I just can’t compete.. I actually miss when the Grau and kilo where dominant it was far better.
Thanks for making this video my friend. As a more casual player on warzone, I just wanna jump on with my friends and have some fun. But when 95% of players in the lobby are beaming me with the DMR, I feel FORCED to use the DMR in order to compete, and that is why I am not touching warzone until they fix it. I cannot enjoy a single game right now
Activision won't admit to having sbmm in their game even though everyone already knows its there
Well this is what happens when you force a strict SBMM system in a casual game. Pubs in COD have to be pubs again. Everyone using the meta guns, a lot of people cheating... No one is having FUN anymore just playing the game. Give us a mixture of players back in pubs and most of the playerbase will have a fun experience.

@@Briggsian exactly you could still use other stuff with success and even beat meta weapons. Right now if you aren't using the mac or DMR you can't even remotely compete against them. They just destroy you before you can even react
Falzone was annoying af but it's the only gun that made sense to be the op one for a while, and the tryhards at least had to actually try with the fal, now look at the dmr spam it's a joke
All of those metas allowed you to be competitive with weapons that weren’t the meta. During FALzone you could pick it up off the ground and at least compete even if you hadn’t got your load out. This season the ground loot (not counting boxes) is pretty much useless and can’t compete at all with anyone who has a load out.
SRJason747 Exactly. While the aforementioned guns were absolutely the meta in their time, we still had other viable options which kept the game competitive. In stark contrast to ‘the good old days’, if you aren’t using a DMR right now, you might as well be throwing grapes at your opposition.
Du know what’s funny if SBMM was at a minimum this whole “gaming” the system wouldn’t even be a thing because activison has made call of duty’s into COD league 24/7 with this tuned up SBMM
Most accurate current “State Of” I’ve seen to date. Game is absolute garbage at the moment, which is terrible because it’s such an amazing way to connect with friends and battle.

You have to share this to all the top heads, and tell them to reshare to their top heads. It's like a viruz, you must spread it in the perfect line to make it spread to the top. From connection to connection it will get there, if you share it to 2, and they share it to 2.
You hit the nail on the head with this one Drift! Me and my friends have had to take a break from this game as it’s got out of control now. Tried to play last night and between weapon balance/sbmm/hackers it became excruciating! I’m glad zombies is around this year to keep me busy

I’ve watched content creators play this game for over 6 months, and it got me really hyped to play, then I finally got a gaming pc, played 3 games and uninstalled it, it’s not even worth trying. I die instantly upclose and at range. Game looks fun when people who play 12 hours a day show you their content, but in real world for people with lives this game is terrible.
Sad it takes the devs TWO updates to fix ONE weapon :(
They need to put the DMR (in fact the whole class including the AUG and M16) onto sniper rounds for WZ as they are closest in my mind to DMRs from MW I do not understand why they don't/didnt do this
there is a very good reason that separate games made from different developers should not be integrated any further than a launcher and this is it.
the ironic thing is, both MW19 and BOCW run on the same engine, obviously slightly tweaked here and there, for example in BOCW you can actually swim i think, while in MW19 you can't (as a result there's no swimmable area in WZ)
It's not a difficult thing either, mimic the stats currently in game for the MW19 weapons but tweak them slightly to make them actually decent, but hey, even after ... howmany CoDs? they still can't get balance or spawning right.
@@DarkDyllon they don’t run on exactly the same engine. Infinity Ward engine was tweak for Modern Warfare. Their version of that engine is more update then Treyarch. Cold War runs on Treyarchs 2015 engine I believe....Treyarch probably doesn’t have property rights from Infinity Ward to use their engine. Just like they can’t use any of each other’s classic maps in multiplayer.
I ran into 6 blatant hackers today alone me and my friends aren't even in a high SBMM bracket it's getting absolutely ridiculous

I would've guessed me and a friend, who always play together and duo's at all times would be around high silver/low gold, but we are high diamond (not sure if platinum goes between gold and diamond, haven't seen it on my latest games)
This is sad honestly. I love warzone and cod and I see all of this everyday.. hope it's fixed soon.. my heart is broken 💔 over this.. warzone could be on life support if they don't breathe some life into it real soon..
We need a casual and ranked playlist for Warzone. First so we can simply enjoy the game, use different weapons etc, and secondly we can see what rank UA-camrs are, so we can actually appreciate someone winning a diamond 2 match for example.
My core group and I quiet about a week after the integration just isn't it :/

The dmr uses the same sound effects as the EBR ( lots of Cold War guns in wz recycle sounds) but the ebr shoots much slower, that’s why it sounds so weird
Mac10 is louder then the lmgs
The LVL100 battlepass gift "Prisoner" Stitch character is bugged as well.The game crashes outright when throwing a stun or flash while running using this character.

Honestly, I would like to see how much of this (bar the broken attachments) translates to cold war too tbh. Both seem like abit of a broken mess. I'm running into more and more cheaters, jitters, lag switchers atm :/
I went back to battle field 3 on pc and it's crazy how much better a game from 2011 is compared to cod 2020
Well I just stopped playing it until they nerf DMR 14 to the ground
Between the hackers, DMR14, P2W Mac10 blueprint, and going weeks without dropping below diamond and gold tier lobbies while seeing streamers with twice my kd get consistent bronze and silvers... yeah I’m done for a while.
Haven’t finished watching yet so you might talk about this and I haven’t gotten to it yet, but can’t forget the Mac blueprint that is super buffed over the normal Mac!

The story you told about the brothers who got banned is something that concerns me. I regularly play with a lower skill friend and am worried about getting banned for cheating when I just want to play with my friend.
It’s honestly sad how hard they are shilling Cold War. The people who want it will play it, the Warzone players just want improved strats and new items that are balanced.
Completely agree with everything you said. As someone who has put a lot of hours into this game, and organize kill race tournaments with my friends, I find myself not wanting to play anymore at all, and that’s a sad realization for me

I agree with your assessment. For months now Warzone has just been: new patch comes out, something is now god tier, everyone uses it (if they can). But every time, the new god tier thing is even more broken than the last. Then a patch comes and you wait for the new god tier weapon.
Vonderhaar and Treyarch are experts at ruining games. Cold War has no business being in Warzone. Way to take a 10/10 game and make it garbage. I cannot play it until this gets fixed.

I think instead of worrying about balancing to games guns perks equipment etc. When the new cod comes out it should just vault the old cod everything and add the new just so there's some consistency with how things are supposed to and should work

I've been thinking about Warzone since the CW integration... I feel like there's no actual development team behind it anymore, Activision gave Raven a checklist and they did it as fast as they could and went back to other projects. Like:
- Put the Cold War weapons so we can give WZ players some insentive to play/buy CW ( and well, it worked, I've seen some many people saying they play CW to just level up the weapons)

- Put some interesting blueprints on the shop that people would buy ( What better way to make them feel good than them being overpowered so the whales keep expending, it worked)
And it could all be summed up by "makes us money fast no matter the concequence, they'll keep playing".
On another topic, didn't the blueprint thing happen a while ago with another gun? I'm having deja vu.
If you google Veterancheats You will find cheats for COD Warzone but also other 30+ games are available in their store such as Cold War,Valorant,Rust,Destiny 2,Apex Legends and many other games.
I recently been using a smurf account to play solo duos to use other guns and not sweat. Last night i got disconnected from the server got back on and that method isn't working anymore. did they nerf it or just nerf me, lol. Feels bad. I remember blackout where every lobby was about the same.
Just wanted to know if you have experienced this at all.
This is honestly what I expected from this. It seemed too good to be true .

Weapon attachment overhaul and fix

NERF DMR TO OBLIVION
Remove SBMM and prioritize connections
Step the game up on fixing game breaking bugs
Start a new banwave due to the recent increase in hackers and cheaters
Honestly all I play is Ground War in Modern Warfare. I love the chaos of it and the gun play is better than any other game in my opinion
I've pointed out, with evidence, soo many bugs in the last Month in CW and WZ to Devs and nothing has been done about them. Game breaking too

So true. Here is my list of problems I encountered while playing war zone or multiplayer in COD:
Material issues:
1- Scuff and other pads that allow some players to jump backwards (for example) while just before they were rushing you at full (it is so unrealistic move)
2-PC players against console Players (even without aimbot software etc...)
3-Normal pad against mouse Players on console
4-Normal pads against Gamepads with adds-on like aimbot systems and so on
Game/Software Issues:
1-Glitch and other simple errors/tricks that usually after a time COD correct ( i remember the revive system to be able to stay all time long in the gas of the AWCOD warzone)
2-Changes in the version of menus between the COD. I know several (mainly 2 different ) are working on COd version but the owner of the company is Activision and they should be careful of keeping the game menus similar each year.
3-Complexity of weapons and/or unbalanced levels of weapons: each gamer should be able to have 1 weapon in each category depending on his type of game(aggressive, camper..) that he prefers and be able to stick on it and progress. And not having to use the last best weapon because it is unbalanced and you have to use it if you want to just survive (DMR and MAC are the last examples). They only positive pint is that influencers have more options of videos to explain to us the last best version/weapon to play this week/day/month.
4-Campers, shitting/crouch walking position moving gamers: some lobbies are full of gamers just killing from one camping position to other or even playing trap. For example domination: nobody play the points: just looking for kills and they just start to take the point and then hide/take a position outside of the point in the line of fire of the point and align kills...
5-No age segmentation of players: I am over 50 and suer I am not acurate or have the same reflex as a kid but I have more credit on my CC to spend on games if I like it. So maybe COD should try a league by age like any other sports the e-sport should think about a way to make it work (won't be easy to really identify who is playing but still in my case It could motivate me to pay more if I know I compete in my category.
6-SBMM problems. To play in team now you have to be careful that the worst one of the team with the worst pink is searching the lobby so that you have a chance to win in warzone. and in multiplayer if you make an incredible (in my case for example at the end a ratio of 1.8 or even 2) game the next game you find yourself with all the bad players and if you don't repeat the same result you have no chance to win.
Results:
My time of game is: 0.5% warzone, the rest multiplayer (without crossplay and trying to unlock weapons and pass challenges without caring about other players of my team) and so no more playing with friends or trying to make friends as it was for COD4 WW2.
As some influencers are yelling: Activison is so lucky there have no real actual competitor at this time...
FFAR is one of my favourite guns since the integration, after/if everything gets fixed then that will be the Meta (also i am under deep sus for AydAn and CZlaner getting in bot lobbies)
Aydan’s WR in a 0.77 lobby, he should never be anywhere close to one like that. That’s so below average that something is up.

@@mattuh Thats how normal SBMM works. Play 20-40 days a day and you will get one or two bronze lobby. Guys who are abusing it got 50% of games in bronze lobbies
@@pofjiosgjsoges I didn't realize that, thanks. I guess I don't play enough. I check my lobbies frequently and haven't gotten a bronze lobby over the past couple weeks. SBMM doesn't really take skill into account if he's getting even one or two bronze lobbies.
Between dmr and lobby boosting, my kd dropped. I'll see a "TTV" bounty or hunted on virtually every game. This isn't fun anymore, the players in the middle are now just content fodder. I'm looking for other games my friends and I can play together.
I think the Dmr and the Type 63 should take Sniper ammo.
I went from being able to play warzone with 60+fp son my laptop to averaging 30fps over time. I genuinely don't understand how a big corporation like this can't fix this stuff

SBMM cheat is using VPN to connect to for example Egypt, Brazil or Singapore. It screws over the algorithm but still givea normal ping.
This is correct. I use VPN to Egypt.. I’m UK and play on EU servers. But VPN throws off SBMM

My meh 1.3 K/D was getting me stuck in a Diamond 1 lobby last night against Bobby Poff, Muddawg, and Unrational. According to Warzone Companion, a bunch of my lobbies were 93+/100 skill and about every 3rd match had a suspected cheater.
Cold War ruined the state of Warzone and Modern warfare
Warzone got myself and all of my friends back into COD when most of us hadn't purchased a COD title since MW2. SBMM had been strangling the fun out of the game for a while and the terrible cold war integration was the nail in the coffin.

My favorite bug is after looting for 15 minutes and buying a loadout, having your game freeze when you try to throw a secondary nade if youre using a Cold War operator.

I sold my copy of Cold War on eBay. The game is broken in so many ways that I just don’t care to play anymore. I understand they’re “trying” but the fact that it’s taking a multi billion dollar company more than 3 days to fix something that’s destroying their game is just ridiculous. If they don’t care to fix things, I don’t care to play.
