The truth hurts. Who spends 3k as a guest on a dress that you have to put a piece of printer paper next to in order to prove it's off white? You jelly, cousin! Maybe you can find a high school boy who needs a prom date.
Side note I married a mama’s boy & the only reason we are 21 years into this marriage is bc they live in MA & we moved to my hometown in upstate NY (she wouldn’t even make contact with me on the day moved almost 20 years ago. I was stealing her baby boy). We get along ok now bc I only deal with get a couple times a year but if we still lived near them nope!
Agree 💯 That man has such a toxic relationship with his mom that him and OP will undoubtedly end up divorced anyway. So she might as well save herself the trouble and not get married at all 🤷♀️
My lovely husband was an amateur photographer and agreed to be the photographer at my sisters wedding. He spent all day taking photos and videos and spent around 10 hours doing so. He only took a break to have the meal and didnt get a chance to enjoy any of the ceremony or reception. He then spent the next 4 days editing and sorting through thousands of pics which was such a lot of work, so I understand why it costs so much money for a wedding photographer. In the end he didnt even get a thank you, she just kept badgering him saying he was taking too much time to produce them, I have been no contact with her for 7 years now.
I cannot deal with ingrates. Your husband must have the patience of a saint, because I'd have sent them a couple of pics and just deleted the rest and tell them where to stick the £1500+ he saved them by working for free.
Oh my goodness. The true nature and heart of a person is definitely brought out in full exposure at weddings. Your superb husband is a keeper. What a wonderful gift to your sister and her husband that was greeted by your sister with the utmost of selfishness and ungratefulness. You guys have a heart of gold and your sister a heart of wax that could not be melted by such generosity.
Our photographer was my husbands best friend & long time friend of mine as well. We asked him if he would do our pictures & we would pay for his plane ticket & lodging since we had a destination wedding. Our wedding was under 50 people, small bridal party(our sibs & kids). He took our photos & months later, we moved across the country a few dtates away. I drove to visit our photog friend in Colorado. He showed me all the pictures & said "so how much do I get for these?" My mouth dropped. Luckily his fiancee at the time interjected & said "You are not charging them! They paid for your whole trip!" It was akward but, we all moved on from it.
DO NOT MARRY THAT FIRST GUY!!! You will absolutely regret it. If they dont resect you now, they wont later on!!! Also, LOVING the longer videos!! Keep it up!
They will absolutely not respect you later. Us women are like barking chihuahuas at our parents protecting our husbands while our husbands say nothing and do nothing when their families are attacking their wives or wives to be 🤦🏻♀️
Regarding the woman suing her parents for her college money, the reason her entire (I’m assuming that this means extended) family is against her is the very reason that her deceased aunt set up trusts for her female relatives’ education - their culture doesn’t value women (and doesn’t see the value in educating them), so therefore she has “shamed” her family (who, in their eyes, have done nothing wrong because a daughter doesn’t “deserve” to be educated) by bringing the matter to a civil court. Culturally, their son is much more valuable than their daughter, so they were within their rights to spend the money on the son. The fact that the daughter would disagree with her parents, let alone complain to people outside of the family - and worse, outside of their culture, who wouldn’t understand that girls are less valuable than boys - and then take it a step further by bringing in outsiders who can take legal action against them (the civil courts) - is an abomination, an anathema to their worldview. Not all cultures are the same, and they certainly aren’t equal. Ones that devalue half of the population are NOT equal to those that value all members of the population.
China's people and muslim countries people do that shit. Females are just material posession traded from father to husband or a waste of resorses in their worldview. And worse, they bring that shit with them everywhere. Thankfully some families change, like her aunt.
There is a Bollywood movie called Badrinath Ki Dulhania (translation: Badrinath's Bride) where in the opening monologue, Badrinath narrates something similar to what you say. That boys are valued and celebrated and girls are not. He says that girls are liabilities and boys are assets. IMO, the movie is amazing and sends a wonderful message. It's funny, heartwarming and relatable as a young woman of Indian decent.

I'm so thankful my mother-in-law was AMAZING! She was more of a mother to me than my own mom. It's been seven years since her son and I divorced and we're still friends. She told me I will always be her daughter! Love you, Debbie!
ive been married twice and my mils werent at either wedding lmao. the first one, who ii thought hated me, turns out, 30 years after her son and i divorced, are friends on fb. lol she told me a few weeks ago i was the best thing that ever happened to her son 0.0 WHAT????? turns out, she was always on "my side" but couldnt control her sons actions. she said she was broken hearted when i left but was never prouder of "one of her kids, which she always considered me" he remarried and has 5 kids with his wife. i told my ex MIL the bright side, is the have beautiful grandkids now and who knows if that would have happened with me.
Right. It’s such a weird thing. On my wedding day my SIL and MIL knocked on my door when I was getting ready and asked to see the dress but they didn’t ask to try it in. That’s just weird. They were surprised it wasn’t white lol, I like purple so I had a lavender dress, other than that they were like, ok we’re happy for you and hugged me and let me finish getting ready. Now my husband is the one with the crazy MIL but I keep her away from us so we don’t have to deal with her 😂
All I can say is that, I was beyond blessed to have the best MIL I could've ever asked for! She treated me like a daughter from day 1 and would call my husband out on his s**t if necessary.😂 I was devastated when we lost her (a couple yrs later I lost my Mama as well). Even though we lost them both to soon, I will always be greatful that I had those 2 strong, loving and beautiful women in my life!❤
The first story is a dominance thing showing she will always come first. The mil robbed her of being the only one to wear the dress. Mil wore it first so she claimed territory even over the dress. It's not how I think, I just understand crazy. 😅
@molybdomancer195 Didn't have animals in mind. Just humans have a tendency to crush each other. I feel like the mom was asserting dominance over dil by making her second in her own wedding dress so she couldn't enjoy the moment with her fiance. Mil could stand her son having a first anything without her. Idk how animals got brought into this but you do you.
@zekova Right, she couldn't let her son have a first anything without her. She saw her Dil as competition when she should have been doing everything she could to make the day go smoothly. Instead she chose manipulation n control.
Fellow Canadian, I watch you show with my 3 teenagers and we just adore the chemistry between you and Mike, we hope to see him in more videos with you. You guys seem so wonderfully matched. Wishing you guys a lifetime of happiness.
My daughter-in-law and I are the same size. She offered to let me try on her dress because I didn’t wear one when her father-in-law and I got married. I told her that I appreciated it but it was her dress and that it should remain special for her and my son. 2 of my 3 sons are married (the youngest is still in high school)and some of my happiest days are when my sons became another woman’s problem. 😁 I love my girls and don’t understand the whole ahole mother-in-law thing. Get a life. Seriously.
I think that’s why my mother in law likes me. His mental health improved so much after he met me. I didn’t really do anything, he just wanted to be a good partner and he did the work himself.
@Mrs.Shackleford - "Some of my happiest days are when my sons become another woman's problem." 😁 😆 😅 😂 🤣 *WHY* can you not be MY "common-law Husband's" Mother? *That woman* (his mother) *is why we will never marry.* As an only child of a single Father (divorce my Mom when I was three) who died when I was 26. Six years after his death, I moved north to be next to my Mother. *My Mother passed away this April, 2024.* So... What's the point? Excluding my common-law Husband and our pets, all of my family is dead. *•Joni Mitchell said, "We don't need a piece of paper from the City Hall keeping us tied and true."* I have had this line in my head since I first heard it. I think it is why my "Husband" and me have been together for decades -without any issues.
Visualize delivering the Best Man’s speech at a wedding where your identical twin brother has just married your ex-girlfriend. If nothing else, it’s a potential gold mine for a comedy scriptwriter.
I don’t think I could ever date the twin sibling of a crush or even any of my husband’s siblings. Like even if both my husband and sister-in-law were dead, I don’t think I could date SIL’s husband afterward
@@althealee9375 I met someone who did,. In this case it was a guy who dater one girl first ,didn't work ,and later on he dated and ended up marrying the twin sister. Still are to this day more than 20years later, and they're actually pretty ok, all of them, but I agree ,I could never .
Not to mention it's not like she cheated on him, they BOTH agreed to break up. OP is being kinda childish, they were 16 years old. The whole they got together a little while after they broke up doesn't really make any sense, they were 16 people break up and get with others within a few weeks all the time. I think OP was just still hung up on her or something
I am a MIL and i watch these so i don't screw up with my DIL. DIL's are in control of their family. If I want to see my son and grandchildren, I need to stay on her good side! Thanks for all the examples of what NOT to do! :> I am blessed with a wonderful DIL and I love her too!
I love your comment and❤ I had to edit my comment since I'm sick and my brain didn't process the rest of the comment 🫣sound's like the two of you're wonderful women
That's a great attitude. My brother married my oldest friend whose mother (RIP) was BFFs with my mom. (Hence our early friendship.) Mom adores DIL. But my mom is conscious she's not her biological daughter. She does not give unsolicited advice. She waits to be asked and reiterates she's always here to help. DIL told my mom, I never have anything negative to share when my friends bitch about their MILs. She's too supportive? She takes great care of my kids when I need help? Best compliment of my mom's life. Who wants to be an evil MIL?
To the beautiful wife of the Hawaiian punch pineapple cake in laws. I love how you started the story with how much you loved your wedding and married the man you love in front of family and friends. You have the most amazing heart and calm to put up with the pineapple tragedies that occurred at your wedding. You let your husband deal with them and had warrior bridesmaids and groomsmen protecting you and your husband. You seem to be able to put your wedding above the gross actions of the pineapple peanut heads. I am glad they are out of your lives and your husband pushed for a protective order. I am sure your wedding was magnificent and beautiful and hope you can have a little giggle at the audacity of the in laws embarrassing behaviour.
Conspiracy theory about these compilation videos: Mike and Charlotte are currently getting married and are enjoying their friends and family. Traveling on a long honeymoon, possibly?
It's the grocery store pineapple cake that gets me! Y'all snuck into the wait station dressed like you're on a cruise and thought you were sly? That didn't come from a wedding bakery. If you're trying to steal an event, you cheap.
Here mom - here's your ticket to the honeymoon place - we changed where we were going! We'll meet you there!! Enjoy your vacation!! (She arrives at the destination and finds out that you're not going to be there, and starts calling you!!) Honey, where are you?? I thought you were going to meet me here?? "Mom, I'll be there! My flight was delayed. I'll be there soon - I promise!! (Second Tuesday of next week!!) I'm on my way!! See you soon!! Can't wait to see you!!
@@mariahillenbrand8396i love this! My ex mil showed up at our marriage counseling. The 1st session. The counselor looked at me and said... I already know what your problem is. He was not wrong.
It never fails that when the bride and groom are chill, one of the moms that is the wackadoodle... This compilations proves this, and my mom's behavior for mine and my sister's weddings prove this.
I would NEVER wear a dress that I bought for my wedding when my fiance let their parent wear it against my own boundaries. It just gave a bad ick vibe about the dress altogether
@ well some people don’t. Some people wouldn’t want to wear a wedding dress to be married to a guy who literally wanted his own mother to wear it first 🤢
Srsly! Honestly, especially after fiancée not only allowed this egregious behavior to happen but Enabled it! That would be the end of the relationship for me bc fk that ish! No way in Hell am I getting enmeshed in that horseshit! I hope she called off the wedding!
I was blessed with an amazing mother-in-law! We had a boundary issue once, my husband explained that because I worked shifts, I slept at other than “normal “ times. She totally respected that. I still miss her!
The one where they took the daughters money for the brother's wedding. Everyone is missing that not only did they take her money, they also took the SISTER'S. They completely drained TWO bank accounts (leaving her wih only $13k). The amount of money they stole and spent on the brother is absolutely INSANE
And the aunt very specifically wanted the money to go to the female reletives so they weren't forced to abide by customs of a controlling and sexist culture.that they could even the playing field and be empowered by knowledge and education. Yet they still took the daughters money to give to a man that already was in a more privileged position.
@@kayleeserna4278 Absolutely. Sounds like their culture doesn't necessarily want females to have a good education. They want them "betrothed" and dependent upon a man. Yes, OP should sue her parents and then cut contact.
I'm willing to bet the parents thought that their son deserved the money more than their daughters regardless of what any of these people were going to do with it
5:44 AND if the fiancée and future MIL are so scared of people finding out, then they KNOW they’re doing something wrong (not just crossing OP’s boundaries, but wrong in the eyes of basically everyone else). Don’t do/say things you can’t say with your whole chest (unless you’re in an unsafe situation, ofc).
Yeah that gave me the ick. Standing outside the door guarding it in case his fiance came home. How she didn't just say keep the Fking dress and walk out of there never to return is beyond me.
Yeah the don't put it on FB, kicking out the group chat, and saying *he* has to delete it off her phone thing...all that made me ask is if there are already rumors about the son and mother swirling.
I’m guessing it was most likely about MORE than just the dress. She sounds SUPER entitled and a total crazy. I could see how she could have caused much larger problems prior to this, or this was simply the last straw for the bride. Understandable when you’re dealing with someone who is insisting on being unreasonable.
Instead of spending $3000 on the SHEIN wedding dress she should have spent some of it to get that huge wart taken off her face. She’d be pretty if she didn’t look like she was getting ready to throw on a Wicked Witch costume.
What’s the thing about beach weddings? We had a ceremony in a meadow in the town I grew up near the Black Forest. We had the reception in a small winemaker village just across the border in France. Took the closest family and friends for a 2 days houseboat trip on a french canal. Honeymoon in Scotland lonesome hiking and stays in Castles. Perfect memories. Couldn’t be better.
Exactly!! She's not going to be able to wear the dress without seeing his mom wearing it! I would make her pay for it AND show the picture of her wearing it to everyone - AFTER SHE'S PAID FOR THE DRESS!! She needs to understand that her behavior was unacceptable!! She won't if you sweep it under the rug!!
Nobody is saying it, so I will: THAT'S THE DRESS YOU PLAN ON PEELING YOUR LOVE OUT OF DURING WEDDING NIGHT!! OR TO HAVE HANKY PANKY IN!!! WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO SEE YOUR MOTHER IN THAT, BROTHER EWWWW
24:33 I’m so glad that her MIL’s opinion didn’t ruin the dress for her, after watching so many “Say Yes To the Dress” clips where someone’s negative opinion stops someone from getting their dream dress it’s really nice to hear she still loved it ❤
First one, fuck the guy who let his mom in my dress, that's disgusting 🤮👎 don't marry him, he didn't stand for you and will always be on mommys side.... Ewwww
And if it was just an interest in the opportunity to try on a wedding dress, she could do it after the wedding. Why did she need to be the first to wear it? Just creepy… Run, Forest, run!
Charlotte, take this anyway you want to, but I think you and Mike are made for each other!! Your wacky, wierd sense of humor are exactly alike, as well as your ability to come up with (sometimes on the fly) the goody sound effects!! You're both so adorable, and we look forward to seeing and hearing him in future stories! Can't wait to hear about your wedding plans and seeing the dress. We promise that we'll keep negativity and disagreeable opinions to ourselves. Love to Mike - stay petty!! We LOVE YOU GUYS,!!❤😂
As a 37 year old who's lost her mother 8 years ago, I would say it's not that you "don't need your mother anymore"but rather "the way you need your mother is not the same as it was 20 years ago". I miss mom.
@@erickalear7609my mother is also a narcissist. I've always felt like I didn't actually have a mother. I don't speak to her now. There is no point. She just wants to destroy me. I definitely grieve for the mother I never had tho.
At 36, I'm fully independent in life and wouldn't say I necessarily "need" my mum. In stead, I WANT her. I can't imagine life without her. I'm so sorry for your loss babe, that must be so hard and I hope you're doing ok x
First MIL: The first time fiance's mom saying that would have lead to me locking up my wedding dress immediately, suggesting MIL try on dresses at the wedding salon.
Do not marry him. For one they broke your trust with allowing her to try on YOUR wedding dress. I wouldn’t wear that dress that I had saved up to wear for my special day. She took that away from you and you fiancé helped her. This marriage is doomed already by both of their bad behaviors and h e will never stand up for you. It will always be her he will support …. Hence “you needed to apologize.” You’ll remove the photo once SHE pays for the dress so you can buy another one if you get engaged again down the road.
Never get rid of that photo. You never know when MOMMY will rise from the ashes and need a lesson in life. How dare a fiance tell me what to do when his behavior is a betrayal that can not be pardoned.
Yeah, the MIL is just a run-of-the-mill evil mother-in-law, doing what run-of-the-mill evil mother-in-laws do. Not saying you can't be absolutely livid with her, but it's a snake being a snake. The fiance, now, is a completely different kettle of fish. Not only was it his responsibility to let you know his mom is a snake, and to do all the snake wrangling needed to keep you from harm, but even more importantly, it was his job to not be a snake himself. Providence have let his faux human skin slip, to reveal the serpent beneath, and have done so _before_ you took any marital vows, allowing you to save yourself not only a lot more money than the cost of that dress, but also the time and effort to extract yourself from the den of snakes you were unwittingly headed for. Do not reject or ignore this Gift, but rather embrace the wise words of Maya Angelou, who told us to believe people when they tell you who they are - the first time. Your MIL is a woman who will revel in overstepping boundaries and "marking her territory", even inside your newly created family, should you be foolish enough to go ahead with the wedding. You can't ever expect to get neither respect, nor peace, from this woman, and she _will_ do her utmost to undermine you. With your husband, with your children, with any of your shared family she can access, and anywhere else she can. Your husband-to-be, meanwhile, is not the man you thought him to be. He's a snake, and worse yet, he's a little mama's boy snake. He will never back you up or give you any support in the endless, never-ending conflicts with his mom, your MIL, that lies before you as his wife. He'll continue to be *_her_* proverbial look-out and protector during your marriage, never yours. He'll always be ready to throw you under the bus to satisfy mommy dearest, no matter how egregiously she violates your boundaries, overrides your authority, or humiliate you in front of your friends, children, and family. If, after what you've been allowed to see and experience, you entertain even the faintest notion of going forward with this wedding, and thus capitulate before her and her enthralled minion, you need to check yourself into the nearest hospital to have your head examined, because I fear you must have suffered a kick to the head from a horse, or some other serious traumatic brain injury.
Yes, Charlotte and Mike’s humor together. When discussing how Mike enjoyed the cold I think Mike thought about the “snow globe” wedding as a perfect venue. That, or if you’re urban chic, Phoebe’s winter wedding in Friends was pretty, too.
Back in the day my cousin put disposable cameras on reception tables and had us drop them at the exit before we left. This was in the 90s but it was AWESOME.
Charlotte should look into that old (and I mean OLD) wedding story about the "Titanic Wedding Disaster" It is the wildest wedding story of all time. Good times will be had!
The one with MIL tried on the wedding dress: HUSBAND: Mom loves babies. She needs to be in delivery room. Mom loves the name ????" That will be the brides future. Run OP
I read 2 other Reddit stories that are similar to the first one. The first story: the MIL (and I think SIL) tried the dress on and they ripped it. Then they refused to pay for repairs or a new one. The second story: the MIL went dress shopping with OP and liked a different dress than what the OP liked and bought. The OP bought the dress home and her future husband took the dress from their home, went back to the store and exchanged it for the one the MIL liked. He even showed her all proud of himself about what he did and claimed the dress is so much nicer. I think that OP did say he should marry his mom with her wearing the dress.
My daughter and her husband met when she was 13 and he was 15, turned out my husband and his family grew up together, worked together etc! They got married and she had her sister in laws as bridesmaids and had them and his mum and me dressed in the same colour dresses. My son in laws family and ours get on great, the day of the wedding, me and his mum were sat hugging each other while they made their vows!❤️❤️❤️
The 2nd girl complaining about the CREAM color dress her cousin thought was TOO WHITE, so she uninvited her to the wedding.. SHE'S A FAKE AND A FRAUD. She's posted a video about her being married to a football player once.. but people proved that she legit edited her face on the football player's fiancé's body and MADE THE ENTIRE STORY UP.. So you cannot believe ANYTHING that girl posts on social media. She does it for clout, clicks, views, comments and such.
Holy cow! Can we talk about how amazeballs Charlotte is looking lately! Seriously, ite.like she's a walking talking porcelain doll Charlotte! A real live breathing filter! absolutely GORGEOUS!
21:50 the crazy part about that story is they used both daughters college funds not just one both so it was probably closer to $600,000 that they spent on a wedding
@@kellyhall9449 I don't think so? I am not Indian, but in Monsoon Wedding, the bride's family hosted the whole days-long affair. Some grooms/families will still pay dowries and confer bridal gifts, but brides/families will shell out BIG for the ceremonies.
What kind of weirdo wants to try on their daughter? In law's wedding dress. i have seen more videos recently of mother in laws to be that are sadly madly in love with their own son. 🤢
The story about the twin brother marrying OP's ex... That one's tricky, because 21 is still practically a child. He might get over his twin being with his ex, but it's definitely a weird scenario
inlaws wanting Hawaiian wedding: come on. That family knows they are not all there. That is why they all keep their distance. They have been like that forever.
First story: She needs to dump the fiancé too. Apologize to his mom? Nope. Call it off. Second story: MIL is nuts. Third story: She’s nuts too. Fourth story: I personally didn’t have a problem with the dress. Fifth story: Whose name was the money in? In any event the parents were wrong but how did they access her money? Got to go.
It was a white, sparkley dress. It looks exactly like wedding dresses I've seen, and i was a wedding photographer for 17 years. It's a common style for brides to wear as a reception party dress. No, that dress is not ok.
Oh your fiancé is a keeper. love the egg for each of them.Spit my coffee on that one. You guys are just adorable. You can see you two are meant to be together. Love it when we get to see him. You just glow when he is around. Just beautiful.
In the 1st story, a couple of things needs to happen - first, the future MIL absolutely needs to pay for that dress!!! The bride is sickened by seeing that woman in her NEVER WORN wedding dress, therefore she cannot wear it. Who did that damage? That's right. Mother-in-law! And second, this bride should absolutely NOT marry that mama's boy!!! Can you imagine what life with him, and his mother, would be like?!? The fact that he gave her those stipulations should be an enormous red flag!!!
These stories are so weird for me. I guess i was lucky i had the most amazing mil. She was one of best friends and one of the most amazing women i knew. Unfortunately she passed away and his son and i got divorced but i'm glad i got to know her.
The collage money story - OP needs to start a non-profit for all the girls in her hometown to help them get an education. Name it after her aunt. Make is a very big deal in her hometown. Let her family suffer in silence, knowing they are the cause.
Redditor at 5:03 had it right. Cancel the wedding, and post the picture of mom wearing wedding dress without permission. Son is in a toxic relationship with demented mom.
I love being part of Charlotte's Potato community. ❤❤ FH allowing his mom to try your dress on against your boundary of no, MIL can't try it on, is a glimpse into the rest of your life with this man. You vs his mother. Where is his loyalty? Not with you, the Bride.
@@margaretguillory3049 And also. Girls leave the house when they get married whereas the boys in this culture stay home with the new wife. So they discount on him to be their caregiver later on
I actually cannot comprehend why any middle aged woman would think to try on a much younger woman's dress, let alone a wedding dress. Unless said younger woman said "Try this on, MIL" when out trying on clothes together.

TBH, none of the should have, could have, would have, matters. Sister accepted a job, at that price, and agreed to the date of pay. Sister was HIRED, she had every right, and ability to say no. She does not sound like a people pleaser. She then went on to be HORRIBLY unprofessional, even if she was angry, the idea that it is OK to express that by ruining a wedding, is CRAZY. She booked a job, she didn't do the job. She had choices, SHE made the wrong ones.
Exactly! I don't think op is the ah at all. Just because he mentioned that the sister did it for free for a friend didn't mean he was hung up on it. He still hired her and was still going to pay her. Everything else was the crappy job she did, and she didn't deserve the full $300 because she didn't stay long enough. People just love blaming others for other people's idiocy.
I would have hoped that he would have saved all texts or other evidence of what she did, especially the extortion of going to delete the photos and posting them without permission. He could have sued. A pity he didn't. You don't treat anyone like that, especially family that was always there for you. Completely unprofessional.
The whole thing about him "making a fuss over $300" - he probably would've had more money set aside if the sister hadn't told him she would charge him $300 to be paid on a set date further in the future. I'm sorry, but say I had a wedding in June and was told "I'll do your photos and you don't have to pay until December", I wouldn't be too worried about having that $300 available before June (Ok I probably would, but if there was an emergency, I would be Ok going into that fund because I had time to make it back up for the due date). Also, after all he did for her, and the fact she did someone else's wedding for free, I don't think it's unreasonable for him to expect she'd do the same for him. As for the divorce... she had been cheating for months, she had every opportunity to divorce her husband then, not the day before the wedding. I don't believe OP was the a-hole.
I've seen her react to the "New York Summer" girl's troll tiktoks sooo many times 🤣😭😭 girrrrl she is just having fun lying, she is not wearing the cream dress to a real wedding
I'm like Mike!! I live in the Midwest and love winter temps at night. It can be -5 degrees and I have my windows open!! I also live on the 3rd floor. I get the excess heat from the lower 2 floors, so even in January, it's 80-85 degrees in here, hence the open windows. But I'm happier when it's cooler in here. So I'm happiest when it's 50 degrees or cooler in my bedroom!!
That's why my cats glare at me when it gets hot. Can't even take off more fur. I agree with Mike. Also, it's worse when you strip off when it's hot. It's better to wear loose fitting clothes. Please do not sweat all over the leather armchair...
The story of the sister who held the photos hostage. Honestly, if you have it in writing that you agreed upon a date and price then you can just take her to court if she deletes them before the agreed upon date.
Yes, and even if it was only $300 she was late, didn't take pictures at the reception and never got back to them. That sister is really a jerk. I feel so sorry for the brother. I can't imagine how hurt he feels just from his sisters actions towards him.
I feel like they missing the point, she was fine taking pictures for free for a friend but was willing to delete the photos of her brother for 300 dollars that was before the agree date to pay.. I feel like the sister was butt hurt about her brother telling her to wait before asking for the divorce and she went petty tried to stress and cause drama at the wedding
I love these longer videos but I love watching Charlotte & Mike together ❤️ They just bounce of each other & are just hilarious 😂 They are 100% made 4 each other! ❤️❤️
My husband had knee surgery and now has the flu. I decided to watch this in bed so he can rest downstairs. I may binge on her videos. I need a break from sick man syndrome. I'll check on him in a while.
33:53 You two are my people , I too wish I could live in a fridge. Also, my illness makes me super hot sweaty uggg 34:02 my dad use to say the same thing. I miss him dearly, love you two!
Don’t agree with you, Charlotte, at all on the MIL wearing the wedding dress. You don’t know what type of energy that MIL attached to that dress! That bride needs to post the picture with an explanation and run 🏃♀️
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: God bless the angel MILs out there who don’t put their children through this nonsense (my mother and MIL included) You’re all doing the Lord’s work and I hope to be like you with my future children’s spouses
@22:16 My husband and I had a 70 person wedding for around $5k not including rings, because we just did a lot of things ourselves or accepted help in lieu of gifts; my mother in law bought flowers and made arrangements, my father-in-law cooked chicken cacciatore and sides for everyone and rented catering equipment, one of our friends did photography, etc. I got my amazing dress for $300 at one of those traveling bridal dress shows (and some of the proceeds went to like an anti-domestic violence charity).
The off white cocktail dress for a wedding-absolutely not. This woman knows what she is doing. She is deliberately trying to draw attention to herself.
You can tell she knew what she was doing because the lighting was TERRIBLE. If you're actually confident your dress is nonwhite, you SHOW it to people! You don't do this awkward thing where you hide in a darkened room and hold up a sheet of paper to compare (which doesn't actually look much different in tone lol). C'mon girl, what's the matter? You paid $3000 for that dress, you don't want to show it off to the world by turning the damn light on? 😂 Glad the bride uninvited her.
@@kaoutermouslimhaliba7145 yeah, she's 100% doing it to disguise how close to white the dress is. I know if I paid that much for a dress I'd only want to post the best footage possible of it! Not hide in the dark like that.
I literally had to pause the video because of how SWEET it was of you to give me a kiss from your lovely Bridezilla!!! Thank you @Charlotte Dobre for that pure moment. I call it a nice palate cleanser from all the delicious pettiness I have been inhaling! ;)
The girl dating one twin and now marrying another, there's something wrong with her too. Like you're going to marry the person that has the same face as your ex. She probably thought the other brother was the "better version" or some weird fantasy. 😵💫 I once had a cousin that dated a twin but the three of them ALWAYS hung out and she was proud of it, which made me weirded out too, so this reminded me of that.
@@debbylou5729 but I never will have the idea to date someone of my ex's family. It feel a little bit incestuous for me. Really. And the identical twin of your ex? He is identical. And the twin : you f**k with the same person as your brother? I will NEVER date someone who had sex with a famility member of mine, never never.

Emotional Damage!!! 😂
The truth hurts. Who spends 3k as a guest on a dress that you have to put a piece of printer paper next to in order to prove it's off white? You jelly, cousin! Maybe you can find a high school boy who needs a prom date.

FIRST STORY: STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP. DO NOT MARRY HIM! He LET her try on the dress! That is insane! I would be OUTTA that relationship in no time!
I agree.
OPHELIAAAAAAA
And then he gave her conditions....without saying his mom would apologize like. Controlling doesn't fall far from the tree obviously.
I don’t blame you at all!
Hopefully America becomes one of those ethically advanced cultures someday but it's not looking good. Guess we'll see who wins on Tuesday 😢🗳️💙

Rules?? She’s going to want to bear the children.
The wedding dress story, the MIL wanted to "mark" the dress with her scent. I've dealt with mama's boys before, you'll never be OK with the mom.
eeeeuw
ive been married twice and my mils werent at either wedding lmao. the first one, who ii thought hated me, turns out, 30 years after her son and i divorced, are friends on fb. lol she told me a few weeks ago i was the best thing that ever happened to her son 0.0 WHAT????? turns out, she was always on "my side" but couldnt control her sons actions. she said she was broken hearted when i left but was never prouder of "one of her kids, which she always considered me" he remarried and has 5 kids with his wife. i told my ex MIL the bright side, is the have beautiful grandkids now and who knows if that would have happened with me.
Ewwwwww….but so true!
Now my husband is the one with the crazy MIL but I keep her away from us so we don’t have to deal with her 😂
What thee literal hell????
All I can say is that, I was beyond blessed to have the best MIL I could've ever asked for! She treated me like a daughter from day 1 and would call my husband out on his s**t if necessary.😂 I was devastated when we lost her (a couple yrs later I lost my Mama as well). Even though we lost them both to soon, I will always be greatful that I had those 2 strong, loving and beautiful women in my life!❤
Same here. I'm so lucky
The first story is a dominance thing showing she will always come first. The mil robbed her of being the only one to wear the dress. Mil wore it first so she claimed territory even over the dress.
It's not how I think, I just understand crazy. 😅
Yes it is a bit like a dog scent marking what it wants to claim as its territory (icky is you think about how dogs scent mark 🤢)
Straight up, I can't imagine that coming from a genuine obsession with wedding stuff. 100% a dominance thing.
MIL sprayed the wedding dress with her old MIL smell. Think gardenia. Ew. Sell the dress and get the hell out of Dodge.

My daughter-in-law and I are the same size. She offered to let me try on her dress because I didn’t wear one when her father-in-law and I got married. The one where they took the daughters money for the brother's wedding. Everyone is missing that not only did they take her money, they also took the SISTER'S. They completely drained TWO bank accounts (leaving her wih only $13k). The amount of money they stole and spent on the brother is absolutely INSANE
Did she say how much they took in total?
And the aunt very specifically wanted the money to go to the female reletives so they weren't forced to abide by customs of a controlling and sexist culture.that they could even the playing field and be empowered by knowledge and education. Yet they still took the daughters money to give to a man that already was in a more privileged position.
@@kayleeserna4278 Absolutely. Sounds like their culture doesn't necessarily want females to have a good education. They want them "betrothed" and dependent upon a man. Yes, OP should sue her parents and then cut contact.

31:00 Charlottes hair is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! 😍🔥
Also, Mike made me laugh so hard! He's hilarious!
Mike actually puts a chalk egg in his mouth! I died! Lmao!😂❤😂❤
I love how Mike just completely matches Charlotte's energy. They are such a great couple
Yes, Charlotte and Mike’s humor together. When discussing how Mike enjoyed the cold I think Mike thought about the “snow globe” wedding as a perfect venue. That, or if you’re urban chic, Phoebe’s winter wedding in Friends was pretty, too.
Yes!! I’m literally laughing out loud at some of their interactions! ❤❤❤
Charlotte you reminded me of Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada 😂 when you said @33:30 “flowers for spring? Groundbreaking!” 😂😂
I think that was deliberate
Oh my gosh!! I love you and Mike together. I’ve only you talk about him but seeing you two together is just amazing!
Our queen is early today!!! What a treat!!!! Happy Sunday, Charlotte!!!!
Daylight savings time 😂
@@perfectlyimperfect9129 I'm aware of DST. As I am aware that this is a compilation. Mind your business.
Back in the day my cousin put disposable cameras on reception tables and had us drop them at the exit before we left. This was in the 90s but it was AWESOME.
My brother did this at his wedding. I thought it was a great idea!
Girrrl, you don't need a new dress, you need a new fiance.
The first mom wants the satisfaction of whispering to everyone at the wedding that she wore the dress first
My daughter and her husband met when she was 13 and he was 15, turned out my husband and his family grew up together, worked together etc!
Insane!
And didn't care for their daughter's weddings either? They took almost everything from both daughters.
They plan on having their son to look after them in the future. That's why....
If it's an Indian family..I do believe the grooms family finances the wedding
@@kellyhall9449 I don't think so? I am not Indian, but in Monsoon Wedding, the bride's family hosted the whole days-long affair. Some grooms/families will still pay dowries and confer bridal gifts, but brides/families will shell out BIG for the ceremonies.
What kind of weirdo wants to try on their daughter? In law's wedding dress. i have seen more videos recently of mother in laws to be that are sadly madly in love with their own son. 🤢
Did you read the one where the MIL tried on the dress naked and burst some of the seams?
Creepy

The story about the twin brother marrying OP's ex... That one's tricky, because 21 is still practically a child. He might get over his twin being with his ex, but it's definitely a weird scenario
I think maybe she didn't want to break up and agree to it. Or even plan on dating the brother if they ever broke up.
inlaws wanting Hawaiian wedding: come on. That family knows they are not all there. That is why they all keep their distance. They have been like that forever.
It is beyond weird. So crazy. Beyond normal wedding drama.
Must be something in the water. Oh right. They NEVER DRINK WATER. Lol.
Got to go.
@manxkin - Third Story:
She did put LOULOU in her username.
*RIVER OF DENIAL.*
The 2nd one - they called it a suite which to me means attached and part of the room through a door.
It was a white, sparkley dress. It looks exactly like wedding dresses I've seen, and i was a wedding photographer for 17 years. It's a common style for brides to wear as a reception party dress. No, that dress is not ok.
Every time someone wears white/ivory/cream, all I can think of is Mindy from The Office wearing White (complete with tiara) at Jim & Pam's wedding.😊
Brilliant! 👌
Redditor at 5:03 had it right. Cancel the wedding, and post the picture of mom wearing wedding dress without permission. Son is in a toxic relationship with demented mom.

FH allowing his mom to try your dress on against your boundary of no, MIL can't try it on, is a glimpse into the rest of your life with this man. You vs his mother. Where is his loyalty? Not with you, the Bride.
Freud could have written an entire book on that first case. Leave Oedipus to his Jocasta and go find a partner who isn't married to his mum.
Four. It’s not the wedding that’s more important to her family than her education. It’s that males are more important to them than females.

Anyone else have Jane's Addiction pop in their head when she broke out that pregnant belly? Just me? That's cool 🤣🤣🤣
Especially when he mentioned that he did a lot of stuff for her wedding for free.
Sister did half the job, sister gets half the payment!!!
That “An egg for each child!” cracks (ha!) me up ❤❤

Mike’s cold vs hot theory is exactly right!! More blankets if cold. Suffer miserably if hot
Exactly!!! I cannot stand being HOT, especially while sleeping 😅
I think so tooo!!!

@corvuscorax7451 didn't catch on the light thing. It's true!! 😮 She lowered the lights to make it look less white ??
yeah, who the fuck buys a 3k dress as a wedding guest??? a lot of brides don't pay that much for their dresses
@@kaoutermouslimhaliba7145 yeah, she's 100% doing it to disguise how close to white the dress is. I know if I paid that much for a dress I'd only want to post the best footage possible of it! Not hide in the dark like that.
