DO NOT MARRY THAT FIRST GUY!!! You will absolutely regret it. If they dont resect you now, they wont later on!!! Also, LOVING the longer videos!! Keep it up!
My daughter-in-law and I are the same size. She offered to let me try on her dress because I didn’t wear one when her father-in-law and I got married. I told her that I appreciated it but it was her dress and that it should remain special for her and my son. 2 of my 3 sons are married (the youngest is still in high school)and some of my happiest days are when my sons became another woman’s problem. 😁 I love my girls and don’t understand the whole ahole mother-in-law thing. Get a life. Seriously.
I think that’s why my mother in law likes me. His mental health improved so much after he met me. I didn’t really do anything, he just wanted to be a good partner and he did the work himself.
@Mrs.Shackleford - "Some of my happiest days are when my sons become another woman's problem." 😁 😆 😅 😂 🤣 *WHY* can you not be MY "common-law Husband's" Mother? *That woman* (his mother) *is why we will never marry.* As an only child of a single Father (divorce my Mom when I was three) who died when I was 26. Six years after his death, I moved north to be next to my Mother. *My Mother passed away this April, 2024.* So... What's the point? Excluding my common-law Husband and our pets, all of my family is dead. *•Joni Mitchell said, "We don't need a piece of paper from the City Hall keeping us tied and true."* I have had this line in my head since I first heard it. I think it is why my "Husband" and me have been together for decades -without any issues.
ive been married twice and my mils werent at either wedding lmao. the first one, who ii thought hated me, turns out, 30 years after her son and i divorced, are friends on fb. lol she told me a few weeks ago i was the best thing that ever happened to her son 0.0 WHAT????? turns out, she was always on "my side" but couldnt control her sons actions. she said she was broken hearted when i left but was never prouder of "one of her kids, which she always considered me" he remarried and has 5 kids with his wife. i told my ex MIL the bright side, is the have beautiful grandkids now and who knows if that would have happened with me.
Right. It’s such a weird thing. On my wedding day my SIL and MIL knocked on my door when I was getting ready and asked to see the dress but they didn’t ask to try it in. That’s just weird. They were surprised it wasn’t white lol, I like purple so I had a lavender dress, other than that they were like, ok we’re happy for you and hugged me and let me finish getting ready. Now my husband is the one with the crazy MIL but I keep her away from us so we don’t have to deal with her 😂
24:33 I’m so glad that her MIL’s opinion didn’t ruin the dress for her, after watching so many “Say Yes To the Dress” clips where someone’s negative opinion stops someone from getting their dream dress it’s really nice to hear she still loved it ❤
Oh your fiancé is a keeper. love the egg for each of them.Spit my coffee on that one. You guys are just adorable. You can see you two are meant to be together. Love it when we get to see him. You just glow when he is around. Just beautiful.
The one where they took the daughters money for the brother's wedding. Everyone is missing that not only did they take her money, they also took the SISTER'S. They completely drained TWO bank accounts (leaving her wih only $13k). The amount of money they stole and spent on the brother is absolutely INSANE
And the aunt very specifically wanted the money to go to the female reletives so they weren't forced to abide by customs of a controlling and sexist culture.that they could even the playing field and be empowered by knowledge and education. Yet they still took the daughters money to give to a man that already was in a more privileged position.
@@kayleeserna4278 Absolutely. Sounds like their culture doesn't necessarily want females to have a good education. They want them "betrothed" and dependent upon a man. Yes, OP should sue her parents and then cut contact.
I'm willing to bet the parents thought that their son deserved the money more than their daughters regardless of what any of these people were going to do with it
I had a mental health crisis in 2022 most of these video are the reason I’m still on the earth. So thank you Charlotte❤ if you ever having a bad day please remember you are the reason some of us are still here and you make an impact even if it feels like you aren’t.
Conspiracy theory about these compilation videos: Mike and Charlotte are currently getting married and are enjoying their friends and family. Traveling on a long honeymoon, possibly?
Charlotte, take this anyway you want to, but I think you and Mike are made for each other!! Your wacky, wierd sense of humor are exactly alike, as well as your ability to come up with (sometimes on the fly) the goody sound effects!! You're both so adorable, and we look forward to seeing and hearing him in future stories! Can't wait to hear about your wedding plans and seeing the dress. We promise that we'll keep negativity and disagreeable opinions to ourselves. Love to Mike - stay petty!! We LOVE YOU GUYS,!!❤😂
I would NEVER wear a dress that I bought for my wedding when my fiance let their parent wear it against my own boundaries. It just gave a bad ick vibe about the dress altogether
@ well some people don’t. Some people wouldn’t want to wear a wedding dress to be married to a guy who literally wanted his own mother to wear it first 🤢
Srsly! Honestly, especially after fiancée not only allowed this egregious behavior to happen but Enabled it! That would be the end of the relationship for me bc fk that ish! No way in Hell am I getting enmeshed in that horseshit! I hope she called off the wedding!
Visualize delivering the Best Man’s speech at a wedding where your identical twin brother has just married your ex-girlfriend. If nothing else, it’s a potential gold mine for a comedy scriptwriter.
I don’t think I could ever date the twin sibling of a crush or even any of my husband’s siblings. Like even if both my husband and sister-in-law were dead, I don’t think I could date SIL’s husband afterward
@@althealee9375 I met someone who did,. In this case it was a guy who dater one girl first ,didn't work ,and later on he dated and ended up marrying the twin sister. Still are to this day more than 20years later, and they're actually pretty ok, all of them, but I agree ,I could never .
Not to mention it's not like she cheated on him, they BOTH agreed to break up. OP is being kinda childish, they were 16 years old. The whole they got together a little while after they broke up doesn't really make any sense, they were 16 people break up and get with others within a few weeks all the time. I think OP was just still hung up on her or something
I’m guessing it was most likely about MORE than just the dress. She sounds SUPER entitled and a total crazy. I could see how she could have caused much larger problems prior to this, or this was simply the last straw for the bride. Understandable when you’re dealing with someone who is insisting on being unreasonable.
I was blessed with an amazing mother-in-law! We had a boundary issue once, my husband explained that because I worked shifts, I slept at other than “normal “ times. She totally respected that. I still miss her!
Exactly!! She's not going to be able to wear the dress without seeing his mom wearing it! I would make her pay for it AND show the picture of her wearing it to everyone - AFTER SHE'S PAID FOR THE DRESS!! She needs to understand that her behavior was unacceptable!! She won't if you sweep it under the rug!!
Nobody is saying it, so I will: THAT'S THE DRESS YOU PLAN ON PEELING YOUR LOVE OUT OF DURING WEDDING NIGHT!! OR TO HAVE HANKY PANKY IN!!! WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO SEE YOUR MOTHER IN THAT, BROTHER EWWWW
My daughter and her husband met when she was 13 and he was 15, turned out my husband and his family grew up together, worked together etc! They got married and she had her sister in laws as bridesmaids and had them and his mum and me dressed in the same colour dresses. My son in laws family and ours get on great, the day of the wedding, me and his mum were sat hugging each other while they made their vows!❤️❤️❤️
TBH, none of the should have, could have, would have, matters. Sister accepted a job, at that price, and agreed to the date of pay. Sister was HIRED, she had every right, and ability to say no. She does not sound like a people pleaser. She then went on to be HORRIBLY unprofessional, even if she was angry, the idea that it is OK to express that by ruining a wedding, is CRAZY. She booked a job, she didn't do the job. She had choices, SHE made the wrong ones.
Exactly! I don't think op is the ah at all. Just because he mentioned that the sister did it for free for a friend didn't mean he was hung up on it. He still hired her and was still going to pay her. Everything else was the crappy job she did, and she didn't deserve the full $300 because she didn't stay long enough. People just love blaming others for other people's idiocy.
I would have hoped that he would have saved all texts or other evidence of what she did, especially the extortion of going to delete the photos and posting them without permission. He could have sued. A pity he didn't. You don't treat anyone like that, especially family that was always there for you. Completely unprofessional.
The whole thing about him "making a fuss over $300" - he probably would've had more money set aside if the sister hadn't told him she would charge him $300 to be paid on a set date further in the future. I'm sorry, but say I had a wedding in June and was told "I'll do your photos and you don't have to pay until December", I wouldn't be too worried about having that $300 available before June (Ok I probably would, but if there was an emergency, I would be Ok going into that fund because I had time to make it back up for the due date). Also, after all he did for her, and the fact she did someone else's wedding for free, I don't think it's unreasonable for him to expect she'd do the same for him. As for the divorce... she had been cheating for months, she had every opportunity to divorce her husband then, not the day before the wedding. I don't believe OP was the a-hole.
The first story is a dominance thing showing she will always come first. The mil robbed her of being the only one to wear the dress. Mil wore it first so she claimed territory even over the dress. It's not how I think, I just understand crazy. 😅
@molybdomancer195 Didn't have animals in mind. Just humans have a tendency to crush each other. I feel like the mom was asserting dominance over dil by making her second in her own wedding dress so she couldn't enjoy the moment with her fiance. Mil could stand her son having a first anything without her. Idk how animals got brought into this but you do you.
@zekova Right, she couldn't let her son have a first anything without her. She saw her Dil as competition when she should have been doing everything she could to make the day go smoothly. Instead she chose manipulation n control.
The story of the sister who held the photos hostage. Honestly, if you have it in writing that you agreed upon a date and price then you can just take her to court if she deletes them before the agreed upon date.
Yes, and even if it was only $300 she was late, didn't take pictures at the reception and never got back to them. That sister is really a jerk. I feel so sorry for the brother. I can't imagine how hurt he feels just from his sisters actions towards him.
Regarding the woman suing her parents for her college money, the reason her entire (I’m assuming that this means extended) family is against her is the very reason that her deceased aunt set up trusts for her female relatives’ education - their culture doesn’t value women (and doesn’t see the value in educating them), so therefore she has “shamed” her family (who, in their eyes, have done nothing wrong because a daughter doesn’t “deserve” to be educated) by bringing the matter to a civil court. Culturally, their son is much more valuable than their daughter, so they were within their rights to spend the money on the son. The fact that the daughter would disagree with her parents, let alone complain to people outside of the family - and worse, outside of their culture, who wouldn’t understand that girls are less valuable than boys - and then take it a step further by bringing in outsiders who can take legal action against them (the civil courts) - is an abomination, an anathema to their worldview. Not all cultures are the same, and they certainly aren’t equal. Ones that devalue half of the population are NOT equal to those that value all members of the population.
China's people and muslim countries people do that shit. Females are just material posession traded from father to husband or a waste of resorses in their worldview. And worse, they bring that shit with them everywhere. Thankfully some families change, like her aunt.
There is a Bollywood movie called Badrinath Ki Dulhania (translation: Badrinath's Bride) where in the opening monologue, Badrinath narrates something similar to what you say. That boys are valued and celebrated and girls are not. He says that girls are liabilities and boys are assets. IMO, the movie is amazing and sends a wonderful message. It's funny, heartwarming and relatable as a young woman of Indian decent.
I just can't get over the number of women who will PURPOSELY be massive C-words to the other women in their lives, especially their daughter-in-laws. I love to shower my DIL with affection, support, gifts, and love. Why on Earth would you PURPOSELY damage your relationship with your son and inspire your new DIL to hate your guts? What are you accomplishing?
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: God bless the angel MILs out there who don’t put their children through this nonsense (my mother and MIL included) You’re all doing the Lord’s work and I hope to be like you with my future children’s spouses
5:44 AND if the fiancée and future MIL are so scared of people finding out, then they KNOW they’re doing something wrong (not just crossing OP’s boundaries, but wrong in the eyes of basically everyone else). Don’t do/say things you can’t say with your whole chest (unless you’re in an unsafe situation, ofc).
The 2nd girl complaining about the CREAM color dress her cousin thought was TOO WHITE, so she uninvited her to the wedding.. SHE'S A FAKE AND A FRAUD. She's posted a video about her being married to a football player once.. but people proved that she legit edited her face on the football player's fiancé's body and MADE THE ENTIRE STORY UP.. So you cannot believe ANYTHING that girl posts on social media. She does it for clout, clicks, views, comments and such.
First one, fuck the guy who let his mom in my dress, that's disgusting 🤮👎 don't marry him, he didn't stand for you and will always be on mommys side.... Ewwww
And if it was just an interest in the opportunity to try on a wedding dress, she could do it after the wedding. Why did she need to be the first to wear it? Just creepy… Run, Forest, run!
In the sister is a photographer story, the SISTER could have said no, she did said pay (as example) $300 in August, and after the wedding was done in June, demanded payment in July, she’s 100% the ahole.
Here mom - here's your ticket to the honeymoon place - we changed where we were going! We'll meet you there!! Enjoy your vacation!! (She arrives at the destination and finds out that you're not going to be there, and starts calling you!!) Honey, where are you?? I thought you were going to meet me here?? "Mom, I'll be there! My flight was delayed. I'll be there soon - I promise!! (Second Tuesday of next week!!) I'm on my way!! See you soon!! Can't wait to see you!!
You can DEFINITELY live without a sister if she's toxic! My oldest sister is out of my life and I couldn't be happier. I won't have a thieving, lying, manipulative, methhead, piece of 💩 in my life.
21:50 the crazy part about that story is they used both daughters college funds not just one both so it was probably closer to $600,000 that they spent on a wedding
The off white cocktail dress for a wedding-absolutely not. This woman knows what she is doing. She is deliberately trying to draw attention to herself.
You can tell she knew what she was doing because the lighting was TERRIBLE. If you're actually confident your dress is nonwhite, you SHOW it to people! You don't do this awkward thing where you hide in a darkened room and hold up a sheet of paper to compare (which doesn't actually look much different in tone lol). C'mon girl, what's the matter? You paid $3000 for that dress, you don't want to show it off to the world by turning the damn light on? 😂 Glad the bride uninvited her.
@@kaoutermouslimhaliba7145 yeah, she's 100% doing it to disguise how close to white the dress is. I know if I paid that much for a dress I'd only want to post the best footage possible of it! Not hide in the dark like that.
as someone whose little brother SOBBED in my arms at my wedding because he was so happy for me i can not understand all of these petty siblings ruining weddings 😭😭
Right?!?! If your siblings don't hype you up more than your friends, you don't want em. If they aren't prepped with squirt guns of cabernet for dumbasses walking into the venue with white/white-adjacent dresses on, wtf is the point? 🤣😂 Who the hell are all of these awful humans??? You've got people that share your blood, wanting to celebrate with you and love on you. Who the hell is so damn insecure and flat out stupid, that they need to make it all about them?? Some people seriously need a life. The only way they know how to make themselves feel better, is tearing down people around them?? No damn wonder they are so upset and alone 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
I love it when your finance joins you to give the male opinion. I love your videos and listen to them while I am exercising. Thank you for the entertainment.
The one with MIL tried on the wedding dress: HUSBAND: Mom loves babies. She needs to be in delivery room. Mom loves the name ????" That will be the brides future. Run OP
I read 2 other Reddit stories that are similar to the first one. The first story: the MIL (and I think SIL) tried the dress on and they ripped it. Then they refused to pay for repairs or a new one. The second story: the MIL went dress shopping with OP and liked a different dress than what the OP liked and bought. The OP bought the dress home and her future husband took the dress from their home, went back to the store and exchanged it for the one the MIL liked. He even showed her all proud of himself about what he did and claimed the dress is so much nicer. I think that OP did say he should marry his mom with her wearing the dress.
I cannot get over how perfect you two are for each other! Ya'll should sing songs together!!! I'd love to hear and see that!!! LOVE YOU BOTH SO MUCH! ROCKSTAR COUPLE! Thank you for being you~
What kind of weirdo wants to try on their daughter? In law's wedding dress. i have seen more videos recently of mother in laws to be that are sadly madly in love with their own son. 🤢
As a 37 year old who's lost her mother 8 years ago, I would say it's not that you "don't need your mother anymore"but rather "the way you need your mother is not the same as it was 20 years ago". I miss mom.
Do not marry him. For one they broke your trust with allowing her to try on YOUR wedding dress. I wouldn’t wear that dress that I had saved up to wear for my special day. She took that away from you and you fiancé helped her. This marriage is doomed already by both of their bad behaviors and h e will never stand up for you. It will always be her he will support …. Hence “you needed to apologize.” You’ll remove the photo once SHE pays for the dress so you can buy another one if you get engaged again down the road.
Never get rid of that photo. You never know when MOMMY will rise from the ashes and need a lesson in life. How dare a fiance tell me what to do when his behavior is a betrayal that can not be pardoned.
Yeah, the MIL is just a run-of-the-mill evil mother-in-law, doing what run-of-the-mill evil mother-in-laws do. Not saying you can't be absolutely livid with her, but it's a snake being a snake. The fiance, now, is a completely different kettle of fish. Not only was it his responsibility to let you know his mom is a snake, and to do all the snake wrangling needed to keep you from harm, but even more importantly, it was his job to not be a snake himself. Providence have let his faux human skin slip, to reveal the serpent beneath, and have done so _before_ you took any marital vows, allowing you to save yourself not only a lot more money than the cost of that dress, but also the time and effort to extract yourself from the den of snakes you were unwittingly headed for. Do not reject or ignore this Gift, but rather embrace the wise words of Maya Angelou, who told us to believe people when they tell you who they are - the first time. Your MIL is a woman who will revel in overstepping boundaries and "marking her territory", even inside your newly created family, should you be foolish enough to go ahead with the wedding. You can't ever expect to get neither respect, nor peace, from this woman, and she _will_ do her utmost to undermine you. With your husband, with your children, with any of your shared family she can access, and anywhere else she can. Your husband-to-be, meanwhile, is not the man you thought him to be. He's a snake, and worse yet, he's a little mama's boy snake. He will never back you up or give you any support in the endless, never-ending conflicts with his mom, your MIL, that lies before you as his wife. He'll continue to be *_her_* proverbial look-out and protector during your marriage, never yours. He'll always be ready to throw you under the bus to satisfy mommy dearest, no matter how egregiously she violates your boundaries, overrides your authority, or humiliate you in front of your friends, children, and family. If, after what you've been allowed to see and experience, you entertain even the faintest notion of going forward with this wedding, and thus capitulate before her and her enthralled minion, you need to check yourself into the nearest hospital to have your head examined, because I fear you must have suffered a kick to the head from a horse, or some other serious traumatic brain injury.
First story: She needs to dump the fiancé too. Apologize to his mom? Nope. Call it off. Second story: MIL is nuts. Third story: She’s nuts too. Fourth story: I personally didn’t have a problem with the dress. Fifth story: Whose name was the money in? In any event the parents were wrong but how did they access her money? Got to go.
It was a white, sparkley dress. It looks exactly like wedding dresses I've seen, and i was a wedding photographer for 17 years. It's a common style for brides to wear as a reception party dress. No, that dress is not ok.
I love the combination with mike. These two are so funny together. I wish them only the best! Hopefully we see wedding pictures of groom mike and bride charlotte - surely they will look gorgeous!!🫰🏻
I love being part of Charlotte's Potato community. ❤❤ FH allowing his mom to try your dress on against your boundary of no, MIL can't try it on, is a glimpse into the rest of your life with this man. You vs his mother. Where is his loyalty? Not with you, the Bride.
5:43 as a matter of fact, I don't think canceling the wedding would be too harsh. If I were in her shoes, I would not want to marry into a family like that, especially with a crazy mother-in-law who thinks she can break boundaries no matter what. I ain't got time for that kind of drama.
People need to be straight on the idea love is everything when it comes to marrying someone. Trust is right up there alongside love...if you don't have trust in your significant other, if they don't have your back, then you need to hold off on marrying that person.
Redditor at 5:03 had it right. Cancel the wedding, and post the picture of mom wearing wedding dress without permission. Son is in a toxic relationship with demented mom.
inlaws wanting Hawaiian wedding: come on. That family knows they are not all there. That is why they all keep their distance. They have been like that forever.
I have never seen my daughter look more beautiful than when she was trying on wedding dresses and when she tried on “the one” all of us knew it! Yes we found it at David’s Bridal and it didn’t even require one alteration!
Don’t agree with you, Charlotte, at all on the MIL wearing the wedding dress. You don’t know what type of energy that MIL attached to that dress! That bride needs to post the picture with an explanation and run 🏃♀️
I actually cannot comprehend why any middle aged woman would think to try on a much younger woman's dress, let alone a wedding dress. Unless said younger woman said "Try this on, MIL" when out trying on clothes together.
I have been watching you since before this channel, n I love you. I must say you are always beautiful, although today you just look so extra gorgeous, just stunning! Why did you do different today, anything?? U are glowing!!! love you potato queen
First story; no matter what I would never marry this dude. They literally planned behind your back so she could try on the dress. So your fiancé literally decided his mother s wish was more important than his soon to be wife’s decision. And then blamed you for being petty..
I'm like Mike!! I live in the Midwest and love winter temps at night. It can be -5 degrees and I have my windows open!! I also live on the 3rd floor. I get the excess heat from the lower 2 floors, so even in January, it's 80-85 degrees in here, hence the open windows. But I'm happier when it's cooler in here. So I'm happiest when it's 50 degrees or cooler in my bedroom!!
That's why my cats glare at me when it gets hot. Can't even take off more fur. I agree with Mike. Also, it's worse when you strip off when it's hot. It's better to wear loose fitting clothes. Please do not sweat all over the leather armchair...
In the 1st story, a couple of things needs to happen - first, the future MIL absolutely needs to pay for that dress!!! The bride is sickened by seeing that woman in her NEVER WORN wedding dress, therefore she cannot wear it. Who did that damage? That's right. Mother-in-law! And second, this bride should absolutely NOT marry that mama's boy!!! Can you imagine what life with him, and his mother, would be like?!? The fact that he gave her those stipulations should be an enormous red flag!!!
Yeah that's what broke it for me. If he had been clueless, it would only have been the mother breaking the boundaries. And if he had then cussed her out in front of his wife and been on his bride's side, I would have called asking for money possibly a bit overdone. She already lost her son's good opinion and shown her real colors to him. But as it is... it might be for the best if she doesn't pay for the dress, because there won't be a need for one.
All these kids getting married, claiming to be "adults, putting up boundaries and complaining about their overly involved parents, talking with disrespect in their tone, are the same kids that hold out their hand and ask their parents to pay for everything. It's hilarious. Most of them claim to be adults while still asking mommy and daddy for the money. Sorry kidos, If Im paying for the wedding, I'll invite who I want. If your kids are paying for your whole wedding, we will happily sit in the back seat and just be a guest. Pick your poison.
My husband had knee surgery and now has the flu. I decided to watch this in bed so he can rest downstairs. I may binge on her videos. I need a break from sick man syndrome. I'll check on him in a while.
i had a super controlling mother in law and i was super young so didn’t know to stand up for myself early on-she basically coordinated my entire wedding, showed up at our homey moon sweet that night to “open presents with us” my (now ex) hisband did not make her leave….later down the line during my first pregnancy she actually wanted to come in for my first examination (including a pelvic exam) to go through the pregnancy of her grandchild with me-ABSOLUTELY NOT! they nurse bless her heart could tell i was so uncomfortable but with the mom/son duo from hell i was as always silenced-she said to me “it’s a small exam room -only space for momma and daddy but we have super comfortable waiting room for you” to this day i still love that woman. Yes we are divorced and his next wife divorced him too-because along with other stuff “his mommy issues” go figire
@@margaretguillory3049 And also. Girls leave the house when they get married whereas the boys in this culture stay home with the new wife. So they discount on him to be their caregiver later on

LOL all these stories are why my husband and I got married with friends that were like a mom and dad to us. It was the four of us and the courthouse. Been married 18 years now and I don't regret a single thing. The lovely couple that helped us have a lovely day were amazing and I still look at our wedding photos the "mom' friend took for free. She also planned a reception in our home and paid for the cake and champagne. Her and her husband were so amazing!

eeeeuw
ive been married twice and my mils werent at either wedding lmao. the first one, who ii thought hated me, turns out, 30 years after her son and i divorced, are friends on fb. lol she told me a few weeks ago i was the best thing that ever happened to her son 0.0 WHAT????? turns out, she was always on "my side" but couldnt control her sons actions. she said she was broken hearted when i left but was never prouder of "one of her kids, which she always considered me" he remarried and has 5 kids with his wife. i told my ex MIL the bright side, is the have beautiful grandkids now and who knows if that would have happened with me.
Ewwwwww….but so true!
Now my husband is the one with the crazy MIL but I keep her away from us so we don’t have to deal with her 😂
What thee literal hell????
24:33 I’m so glad that her MIL’s opinion didn’t ruin the dress for her, after watching so many “Say Yes To the Dress” clips where someone’s negative opinion stops someone from getting their dream dress it’s really nice to hear she still loved it ❤
1st story, let him marry his freaking mother.... That's what they want deep down... Disgusting.
Frankly, I would have been less angry at the mom and more the fiancée. He helped his mom backstab his own wife to be.
Looks like they have that special DNA

If mother in law paid you for it, she would probably wear it to your wedding.
I wonder if the wedding was cancelled or if she agreed to his demands?
Oh your fiancé is a keeper. love the egg for each of them.Spit my coffee on that one. You guys are just adorable. You can see you two are meant to be together. Love it when we get to see him. You just glow when he is around. Just beautiful.
The one where they took the daughters money for the brother's wedding. Everyone is missing that not only did they take her money, they also took the SISTER'S. They completely drained TWO bank accounts (leaving her wih only $13k). The amount of money they stole and spent on the brother is absolutely INSANE
Did she say how much they took in total?
And the aunt very specifically wanted the money to go to the female reletives so they weren't forced to abide by customs of a controlling and sexist culture.that they could even the playing field and be empowered by knowledge and education. Yet they still took the daughters money to give to a man that already was in a more privileged position.
@@kayleeserna4278 Absolutely. Sounds like their culture doesn't necessarily want females to have a good education. They want them "betrothed" and dependent upon a man. Yes, OP should sue her parents and then cut contact.
I bet it was an Indian wedding. They are multiple day huge events. So yeah, they can get very very expensive
I'm willing to bet the parents thought that their son deserved the money more than their daughters regardless of what any of these people were going to do with it

I would NEVER wear a dress that I bought for my wedding when my fiance let their parent wear it against my own boundaries. It just gave a bad ick vibe about the dress altogether
Honestly for that much money I'd wear it if it was moldy
@ well some people don’t. Some people wouldn’t want to wear a wedding dress to be married to a guy who literally wanted his own mother to wear it first 🤢

She definitely has a type huh 😂
I agree not being the best man, but I think he should still have gone. It's his brother's wedding at the end of the day.
I love your energy! The two of you together reacting to stories is amazing, I love it!
The girl with the cream dress was trippin I’d have uninvited her too. She’s lucky she got uninvited rather than showed up and got wine spilt on her 😅

@@felix_a_fiend good to know, thank you!
The “i hope your wedding sucks and i hope you get divorced” was a STRETCH
I’m guessing it was most likely about MORE than just the dress. She sounds SUPER entitled and a total crazy. I could see how she could have caused much larger problems prior to this, or this was simply the last straw for the bride. Understandable when you’re dealing with someone who is insisting on being unreasonable.
I was blessed with an amazing mother-in-law! We had a boundary issue once, my husband explained that because I worked shifts, I slept at other than “normal “ times. She totally respected that. I still miss her!
Mine was a saint as well! I miss her too.
Why would any son want to see their bride in a dress his MOTHER HAD ON FIRST WTF!?!
Incest .even one with a narcissistic parent wouldn't want that
He has shown himself to be a mama's boy. RUN OP!!
It would be one thing if she was wearing the mother in law’s vintage gown or something, but in a NEW dress? Uhhh, no!
My son in laws family and ours get on great, the day of the wedding, me and his mum were sat hugging each other while they made their vows!❤️❤️❤️
DEAR MOTHERS IN LAW
HOW ARE YOU NOT EMBAAAARAAAAASSED
ABSO-LUTE-LY NOT!
Especially when he mentioned that he did a lot of stuff for her wedding for free.
Sister did half the job, sister gets half the payment!!!
Yes it is a bit like a dog scent marking what it wants to claim as its territory (icky is you think about how dogs scent mark 🤢)
Straight up, I can't imagine that coming from a genuine obsession with wedding stuff. 100% a dominance thing.
MIL sprayed the wedding dress with her old MIL smell. Think gardenia. Ew. Sell the dress and get the hell out of Dodge.

Hopefully America becomes one of those ethically advanced cultures someday but it's not looking good. Guess we'll see who wins on Tuesday 😢🗳️💙

All these Mothers in Law make me appreciate mine even more. My fiancée and I both have wonderful MILs who can respect boundaries.
Got to go.

I love your personalities. You both match each other. Congratulations! Best thing in the world, you have someone that can make you laugh.
FIRST STORY: STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP. DO NOT MARRY HIM! He LET her try on the dress! That is insane! I would be OUTTA that relationship in no time!
3:17 and the fiance knew it was wrong
Yeah that's what broke it for me. If he had been clueless, it would only have been the mother breaking the boundaries. And if he had then cussed her out in front of his wife and been on his bride's side, I would have called asking for money possibly a bit overdone. She already lost her son's good opinion and shown her real colors to him. But as it is... it might be for the best if she doesn't pay for the dress, because there won't be a need for one.
Of course he did. That's why he was texting his mom to tell her that his fiance was there.

I'm supposed to be raking the leafs 🍃 🍂🍁 right now!
Four. It’s not the wedding that’s more important to her family than her education. It’s that males are more important to them than females.
this is what I was going to say. thanks.
@@margaretguillory3049 And also. Girls leave the house when they get married whereas the boys in this culture stay home with the new wife. So they discount on him to be their caregiver later on
And that's exactly why her aunt wanted HER to have the money😢
@@firstnamebunchofnmbers Exactly
@@margaretguillory3049 I commented something but it was erased idk why.
People out here ignoring boundaries like whoa! Where I am now in life, these are big flags/blessings in disguise. Pay attention when people show you who they are👀😏😘✨️
That “An egg for each child!” cracks (ha!) me up ❤❤
Aye, I absolutely loved that. Totally unexpected and perfectly silly 😜
@@zekova un-egg-spected.
I did not egg-xspect that... 😂😂😂😂
It was eggscellent
These type of videos make me appreciate my normal and loving FMIL and fiancé even more than I already do (FFIL too of course)
I saw it was 1201pm and RAN HERE
LOL all these stories are why my husband and I got married with friends that were like a mom and dad to us.
14:19 I think im proving to myself with these compilations just how long I've watched your videos Charlotte 😊 so far I remember seeing all of these stories, so just enjoying listening again 😊
I love you and Mike together! You are a match made in heaven! I can't wait till your wedding! Glad that you have a great relationship with your in laws respectively.
Seeing you with the gavel and then announcing you’re in a mood ….same girl same 😂
Same it's almost 4am and I woke up at 3 randomly and I feel like the Hulk 😂😂😂😂
I feel like there needs to be timestamps for each story cos lowkey with these compilations, with how much I've watched your content, I'VE SEEN MOST OF THEM BAHAHHA
Hey Charlotte !!! Good to be back 😁 I’ve never been this early before I’m so happy. Your videos always give me more confidence to stand up for myself in various ways which I’ve always struggled with so thank you for everything you do !!!
I love how Mike just completely matches Charlotte's energy. They are such a great couple
What is it about having your own begotten son/daughter get married that leads apparently regular women into a life of crime against humanity, marriage and their own children? Hide yo kids, hide yo wives! 😂🙈 0:32
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 Right????
Lol! Love your comment.
LOVING THESE COMPILATIONS!!!! ❤
She "overstepped" the boundary!
It's ridiculous for a mil to dress up as a bride and definitely not In the brides dress!
That's sick!
I was trying to picture my mom or MIL in my dress and felt queasy.
Yes. I couldn't imagine doing that to anyone, much less my son. 😮 That's so gross and unhinged.
