I just came to the conclusion that maybe we don't even fear the end anymore but rather expect it and are looking forward to what it'll be like. Sounds pessimistic and dark but regarding the current situation here in our society, it seems realistic. The ones that detach from the society as we know it seem to be the ones, that are the happiest
There are multiple ways of looking at what you just mentioned. Yes, it is possible that some people have come to expect death and also look forward to it. This could be the result of years being accustom to the idea/expectation of death, or it could be a moment(s)of numbness that results as such. Another way of looking at this is that some of those who say their not afraid of death are thinking about death as somthing alien, as an vague harmless idea far away from the reality they live, regardless of whatever claims they make of being unafraid of death. As I'm am just like that person, thinking of death as an idea, I can say that the idea itself isn't terrifying. It's only when your body reacts to a genuine risk of death that your true feelings regarding death emerges. Like if I tell you are going to die a minute from now, the idea itself (probrably)wouldn't faze you in the least becuase there is no actual risk to my empty words. On the other hand if you saw a nuke going off in a distance, I bet your body would be torturing you from the inside out as you start imagining dieing in any instant and what inevitably happens after: the world forgets you ever existed, like a grain of sand being buried in the infinite desert of time. Of course this isn't true but your brain thinks of the worst when your afraid. Basically my point is this: Words only go so far to explain how somone will handle actual death. Also, who are the people that detach from society? I'm thinking you are talking about people who go against the norms of society, but I'm not quite sure.

To the person who read this, It’s been hard for you, I know, and it makes me sad that you don’t see yourself in the way I see you. Sometimes they are things in life that cause us to loose ourselves, and the way you have is so unimaginable painful. I miss your smile, the way your eyes light up the whole room just by the sound of your laughter. I miss the way you accepted the way you look in the mirror without cursing yourself out about how ugly you look. I miss the way you didn’t think of yourself as a failure because everyone makes mistakes, we all have flaws and we all aren’t perfect. It’s painful to see that no one around you seems to see the pain trough your eyes, but, stranger, I do, I see how heavy your heart is and how comforting the sadness for you might be, how afraid your heart is of happiness because it disappears in the end, right? You don’t know how much impact you have in this world and it’s sad to see that your demons fight against you and want to take over you. Because you do make change, it’s something so simple and little that brightens up someone’s whole world, it can be a small smile from your lips, the way you look at things you’re passionate about, the way you make yourself eat even though it’s been hard for you lately, the way you zoom out and go in your own world, you brighten up my world by reading this, it means a lot to me that you’re here, existing, but I don’t want you to just exist, you deserve to feel alive. You deserve to get up in the morning and feel good about yourself. You deserve to feel something- to feel every damn second alive in this lifetime. It’s heartbreaking that you think you’re not capable of being loved, because you are, I love you trough all my words and I hope you let it happen in your heart. Love is scary, I know, maybe you heart had been broken once and since then you wanted to be rather numb than feel ever again, it hurts me how you punish yourself, does it not deserve love? @@lunalumlum696 Generally a subgenre of black metal, but what stands out is that it's supposed to create a specific atmosphere (mostly cold, empty, vain and sad) If you wanna give it a try, I highly recommend Paysage d'Hiver (supposed to create a very cold atmosphere) and Darkspace (literally sounds of space mixed with some black metal instrumentals, gives off a really nice atmosphere)

It's really beginning to feel like society is on the verge of collapse. Morals, values and respect is leaving many people. Hate seems to be the normal. Toxic, cold and primal behaviors is now a common thing. Family against family, friends against friends. It's heartbreaking to see. I miss being a kid and life being so simple. Now every day is engulfed in stress, depression and anxiety. I hope things change for the better.

You wish to suffer. And every morning the flaming sky grants your masochistic wish, and every night you fear going to bed but you're terrified of what lurks in the dark. What unknown horrors would reveal themselves to you should you search for them. So you wake again, dull and lifeless, the parasutic sun having drained every last drop of vitality from your bones. And at night you lie awake in bed wishing for an end to this nightmarish cycle, but there won't ever be one, not unless you fashion it yourself. In all honesty I feel like the Doomsday Clock is rather outdated and has frankly always been a poor way of showing geopolitical tension. You can't really generalize international relations with a household object, even if experts are there to stand in front of the camera. As long as nations have Macdonalds there will be no war.

I imagine this mix playing not at the end of the world, but at the end of an epic sword battle between two long dated rivals with a beautiful landscape as the background (like the san francisco's golden gate at the golden hour for instance, or something like that sort) And with both individuals equally exausted, wounded and barely holding onto their weapons And as each song reaches its respective climax, i can imagine the battle scalating all over again, with nothing but this music and the sound of steel hitting steel echoing all over the place

not to be one of those r/im14andthisisdeep types of comments, but, it honestly felt like time stopped, and the world had finally started to turn gray, like this isn't where i am supposed to be right now and this isn't what is supposed to be happening anymore. it's a shame, because ever since 2012 ended, the world just seems to turn grayer, and grayer. it wasn't even that long ago i just seemed to see the world through a dull colour until arriving at this video. it's just like, reality isn't.. real. anymore.

all these comments are from 5-7 months ago and here I'm sitting on the 22nd November 2020 and still am hoping for everything to end. it's not even about the pandemic anymore. I grew so much in this year, more than I ever did in such a short time. I'm 17 now, my birthday is on the 23rd December. I can't be sure if the pandemic ruined my future few years. I'm afraid, not because of the pandemic. my childhood will end and it doesn't matter if it's in chaos or not. I'm 17, but I can't go at parties. not because of the pandemic, but because I've been an outcast my whole life. I know so many people, I talk to so many people. still, they're not thinking about me... I'm thinking about them though.

same... i'm also 17 and have grown a lot during quarantine. i feel like I'm finally discovering who I am, but I'm also sad because I haven't gotten to socialize much. I'm now very antisocial and am simultaneously dreading and eagerly awaiting the time when I am forced and force myself to go beyond my comfort zone once more.

The resourcefulness of humanity will keep us alive for 100 years. The building and things we've made is a different story. who knows we may never get flying cars or hoverbikes, we may just return to horse and carriage as nature consumes all we've made, but no one "cleans" it because it's too beautiful and astonishing. A world where humans become an equal to nature, not to dominate and destroy everything we touch.
@@MediumSizedZ Dont really have a simple way of explaining it yet, but ive been working on it for 6 yrs The general gist of it is: You see through the eyes of Ethan, as he desperately tries to survive a ravaged world set in the year 2032 and protect this girl called Clair as she goes to save her girlfriend that was captured by this big bandit group To put it simply, a super volcano erupted and screwed up the planet as well as releasing a new super virus which turns all infected (Be it animal or human) into blood-thirsty beasts It mainly focuses on the horrors of such a destroyed world as well as what effects it would have on a human mind

Beyond beauty and emotion. This music is infinite blossom of dreams that never stops amazing me. So glad I was born in time to witness this heavenly genre of post rock that thugs at my heart strings like a beautiful storm. Truely it's my drug, my medicine that can turn my whole being inside out and make me feel like I'm full of life, hope, confidence and love. I can't imagine myself not breathing this music every day. It's one of purest forms of joy for me and I will always be eternally grateful to all these incredible, magnificent musicians and channels spreading their magic.

Goombalo10 I know. I wish the media wouldn’t make such a big deal out of the Corona virus, it’s a global emergency because of how contagious it is. China being the trade hub that it is, of course it will spread. They tell you that it’s deadly but that’s only if you have a weak immune system or are much older. It’s just like Ebola all over again, that was a real threat and we contained that pretty shortly after all the buzz about it.
Max Irwin i 100% agree with you. Everyone is panicking WAY too much. It only has 4% mortality rate compared to ebola which had 50% mortality rate. Plus way more people die from the common flu each year (30000). Why should u be scared of the coronavirus when you are more likely to die from the common flu?

How in the world are you guys not getting anxiety attacks from this music? I've had to stop ten times before my mind, body, and soul revolted. It's good music though, sometimes calm other times lighting my bloody spine on fire with fear. Overall 9/10

There are multiple ways of looking at what you just mentioned. Yes, it is possible that some people have come to expect death and also look forward to it. This could be the result of years being accustom to the idea/expectation of death, or it could be a moment(s)of numbness that results as such.
Another way of looking at this is that some of those who say their not afraid of death are thinking about death as somthing alien, as an vague harmless idea far away from the reality they live, regardless of whatever claims they make of being unafraid of death. As I'm am just like that person, thinking of death as an idea, I can say that the idea itself isn't terrifying. It's only when your body reacts to a genuine risk of death that your true feelings regarding death emerges. Like if I tell you are going to die a minute from now, the idea itself (probrably)wouldn't faze you in the least becuase there is no actual risk to my empty words.
On the other hand if you saw a nuke going off in a distance, I bet your body would be torturing you from the inside out as you start imagining dieing in any instant and what inevitably happens after: the world forgets you ever existed, like a grain of sand being buried in the infinite desert of time. Of course this isn't true but your brain thinks of the worst when your afraid.
Basically my point is this: Words only go so far to explain how somone will handle actual death.
Also, who are the people that detach from society? I'm thinking you are talking about people who go against the norms of society, but I'm not quite sure.

You don’t know how much impact you have in this world and it’s sad to see that your demons fight against you and want to take over you. Because you do make change, it’s something so simple and little that brightens up someone’s whole world, it can be a small smile from your lips, the way you look at things you’re passionate about, the way you make yourself eat even though it’s been hard for you lately, the way you zoom out and go in your own world, you brighten up my world by reading this, it means a lot to me that you’re here, existing, but I don’t want you to just exist, you deserve to feel alive. My favorite color is yellow, and I hope the next time you see the color yellow you will think about my words. If you wanna give it a try, I highly recommend Paysage d'Hiver (supposed to create a very cold atmosphere) and Darkspace (literally sounds of space mixed with some black metal instrumentals, gives off a really nice atmosphere)

Been asking the same question since the late 1990’s.
The resourcefulness of humanity will keep us alive for 100 years. The building and things we've made is a different story. who knows we may never get flying cars or hoverbikes, we may just return to horse and carriage as nature consumes all we've made, but no one "cleans" it because it's too beautiful and astonishing. A world where humans become an equal to nature, not to dominate and destroy everything we touch.

You see through the eyes of Ethan, as he desperately tries to survive a ravaged world set in the year 2032 and protect this girl called Clair as she goes to save her girlfriend that was captured by this big bandit group
To put it simply, a super volcano erupted and screwed up the planet as well as releasing a new super virus which turns all infected (Be it animal or human) into blood-thirsty beasts
It mainly focuses on the horrors of such a destroyed world as well as what effects it would have on a human mind

China being the trade hub that it is, of course it will spread. They tell you that it’s deadly but that’s only if you have a weak immune system or are much older. It’s just like Ebola all over again, that was a real threat and we contained that pretty shortly after all the buzz about it.
Max Irwin i 100% agree with you. Everyone is panicking WAY too much. It only has 4% mortality rate compared to ebola which had 50% mortality rate. Plus way more people die from the common flu each year (30000). Why should u be scared of the coronavirus when you are more likely to die from the common flu?
