This video makes me so happy! Before I got sick (I have chronic illness) I would make these not really meal-meal preps too. I usually cooked some rice or bulgur as well. Seeing you prep was a wonderful reminder and like I said, it made me so happy. Great video! 💛
I think it's a great idea and I always watch videos about it and plan to do it but then on Sunday I forget (or I'm lazy). Now that I'm a mom of a baby I'm starting to prepare breakfast and lunch the night before. Otherwise I won't eat properly! Haha
Hi Rebecca!!! Sending you all the love and light soooo i can’t stop thinking about the one vid where you made this garbanzo bean faux tuna and you put it on toast!!! Omg hoping you can share that ! Recipe with meeeee ✨🤍✨🤍✨
Hi Dana! I don’t have a recipe with measurements (I just make it up!) but here’s what I usually include: Chickpeas (smashed with a fork) Cashew cream (cashews and water blended together) Dijon mustard Sriracha Green onion Goji berries Pepitas Cilantro Garlic powder Salt + pepper
I used to make my own nut and oat milks. However, with oat milk I find it gets slimey... just a property of oats. However, recently I found Joi online they make organic nut pastes and oat powder you add to a blender and have 'milk' in like 1 min. Comes in either compostable or glass package. I really like the oat one, I'm not affiliated with them at all. Thanks for the tips on sprouting, where do you get seeds for it?
For oat milk I use 130 gram of oats and 1 liter of water and my husband and I both like it. You can always add more oats to your liking 💚💚 Oh and with the oat pulp you can make delicious raison and chocolate cookies !! 🤤
Hi Rebecca, love your energy and all your videos! I was hoping you could tell me where you got your ‘islandy-counter-thing’ in the center of your kitchen? Thanks so much!
I love your glasses they look so cute on you. Do you possibly have a link on how to make sprouts, I love that idea. As well as a recipe to your snack balls? Thank you. Also love all your videos, so inspiring.
I plan out our weekday evening meal a month ahead of time. I have been doing it over 11 years, and it makes grocery shopping AND meal planning much easier for me!
I do! We meal-plan every two weeks, then each grocery shop we've been practicing prepping the veg like you did here. We're also doing the #threeriverschallenge, and prepping snacks like this is so smart to not hit up the taco cart! 🤣
Same as you. Not a full prep, just the after shop additional prepping to help kickstart me on other days. Also, from having a farmer veggie bag subscription, I still have the habit of dividing my veggies in order of going bad. First the leafy greens, then things like the sugar snaps or peas. Third category harder stuff like bell peppers. Last category root veggies. I usually have 6 veggies, so 1 or 2 days of unplanned meals. Hope all is well for you and Murphy!
meal prepping seems like it would take just as long as cooking and can't really justify it on my days off...mostly when I'm lying in bed trying to talk myself into it. lol. This seems much more manageable! A great video. Also super cute glasses! I'm curious! How did the balls come out? I don't eat almonds for sustainability purposes but have vanilla extract and peanut butter to sub and I'm curious if it still came out OK and if I should try my hand at making some. I've also thought about trying to make protein bars (vegan ones are so expensive!!!) but this seems much more manageable. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
Since Peaceful Cuisine had their oat milk recipe posted, I have been using their recipe. Not sure you have a specific issue with it being watery? Maybe the video from Downshiftology about non slimy milk may help, i remember I learned a thing or two there. Link to peaceful cuisine: ua-cam.com/video/dvvgwVpQ_dc/v-deo.html
I hate cooking in general (probably because I find it hard to do when sharing a kitchen with roommates). This video really makes me want to better prepare for my weeks so that cooking dinner doesn't seem so overwhelming all the time. Thanks for sharing!
Gypsy winked, I think that was a no to not barking lol. I have a peanut allergy so I go for almond butter and honey crisp apples. 😋
Ooh I love those glasses on you!! Also I love these food hauls!
Hello Rebecca - This was a great video!!! God bless, love Rachel
The stem of the broccoli is the best, really good in currys, just remember to peel it 😊
I know this is an old video… but I would love more info on sprouting! :)

That Columbia bread is a staple here in the Northwest!

I love the broccoli stems too. They taste similar to radishes. Love your videos!

Oatmilk: put a pinch of salt and a few dates in it and it'll be delicious! Love your videos!
Mine always comes out gluey/slimy. What to do?
