My fiancé keeps begging me to put a tv in our kids play room and I keep telling him no. I love that room because it’s bright and quiet and has a small amount of space for creating and reading.
The Turkish towel idea is brilliant👌
Very timely video. I'm in the process after my mother's passing of going through her belongings, and mine, with the mindset of downsizing and moving. I have a box of sentimental knickknacks that I like - not love - but feel attached to - actually, no. As I write this I realize I don't have that much of an attachment to them. They're just pretty and remind me of my mom.
Anyway, what I was going to say was I was trying to decide about some other items before I started watching this. The multi-use idea got me right away and gave me clarity for the other items. And gave me a realization about the knickknacks. My collection has no function other than to look pretty. And that's okay. We all need pretty in our lives. But do I need the WHOLE box of them to have something pretty and remind me of my mom? No. I need one owl and the rest can leave and go give someone else a dash of pretty.
Or photograph some to remind you of specific times with your mum before you bless someone else with the items
@@lynnoorman2144 This is a good idea. I'll think about how I might do that. Thank you.
after your 'packing for 3 months in a carry on' i've purchased my turkish towel- one of the best deals ever! ❤
I agree 100% in regards to a TV. I haven’t had one in over a decade. I use my iPad to watch stuff.
I use baking soda for a lot of household cleaning but not Arm & Hammer because they do animal testing. Just letting you know in case you are not aware.
Thank you for sharing about the Turkish towel. We have a VW van we like to travel in and I am always looking for things that are multipurpose and don't take up space. Also, I have never thought about a phone that way. Thank you for the new perspective.
Coconut oil isn't actually hydrating, but it works very well as a barrier to LOSING moisture. That sounds practical in a desert climate.
Pashmina scarf has been my Turkish towel work alike. I might add I keep it on me when on plane to use as blanket when the air conditioning is excessive or heat inadequate( Alaska )
Me too! It works in a pinch for spills or sitting on, too.
I totally agree about the TV
I need to do this 😁
just discovered your channel. instantly subscribed!
Yay! Thanks for being here
I loved the video, thank you for sharing your brilliant ideas! ☺️
Enjoyed this video. I totally agree with you on the TV!!!
i was just thinking this morning the only cleaning liquid i need is vinegar!! and that i'm not going to buy oxi clean again bc when i use vinegar baking soda and lemon together it gets my whites super white without the toxic smell
How much of each do you use?
I love vinegar in the clothes washer! I use it in the fabric softener compartment as a rinsing agent. It visibly improved how much dust and residue was left on black fabrics. 😊
Great video!
def rate sand cloud towels😍
Vinegar doesn’t actually disinfect too good. I started using hydrogen peroxide bc it actually does…also vinegar won’t work on stone countertops :/ it’ll also dissolve silicone seals in the shower or sink and invite mold to grow in the crevices (learned the hard way 😢)
Ah! Seriously? I need to check into that. I started using vinegar+dishsoap in my shower. 😑
I use rubbing alcohol for disinfecting, but vinegar is definitely adequate for many purposes.
What size is your Turkish towel? There are so many sizes, lol!
I just wonder do you offer your guest a drink in a glass jars???? Or you do have separate cup/mug/glass for them???
Kinda miss the bloopers at the end…❤
Check out last week’s video! Lots of bloopers :)
