If I trespass into a residence, then I can expect snacks and compassion?

I talked to my cousin today, he's been in SFPD 28 years. He says they're 500 officers short, they're having a hard time recruiting. The bar is being lowered to fill the vacancies. Good luck SF. This is what you voted for.

Thus the problem. No such thing as needless police in SF.

This is positive propaganda for Urban Alchemy (UA), a controversial NGO that has caused many lawsuits for SF (paid $540,000 to settle). Truth appears @2:38 "...criticism over spending on a handful of pricy response programs, that according to a 2023 city audit don't always fulfill their promised metrics." In reality, overpaid SFPD (150K/yr) don't want to deal with filthy homeless, crazies, and drug addicts. And SF city officials don't want to hire more expensive police officers. So they dumped $51 million on NGOs like UA, to handle homeless/loonies/druggies. UA then hires former criminals and others ($19/hr) as "practitioners" to dissuade these people from causing problems (failing half the time, 48% per Stanford study), by talking and offering snacks (donuts, etc.). To unburden police and emergency services. The controversy arises because there's no rules or little oversight. Some staff were caught using drugs or offering drugs to homeless, harassing women, one was a drug dealer selling near Market & Mason streets, another one was caught on video brandishing a knife, etc. UA is also accused of abuse and ADA violations, at transition centers. It's a lucrative business for UA's CEO Lena Miller (earns $220,000), she's a personal friend of mayor Breed.
