Relatively speaking, marina is still one of the safest neighborhoods in sf. It’s not a marina problem. It’s not just an sf problem and really a California problem. We need a new mayor, and a new police chief, and strengthening of laws that increases penalties on theft, crime, drugs. As the DA mentioned most of these crimes which were previously felonies, are reclassified as misdemeanors. Nothing more than a slap on the wrist. Voters have been mislead into thinking that less consequence would be better. All it benefits is criminals. Not us. Not people who go to work, make an honest living and contribute positively to society. We need a proposition that would reinstate drug/theft penalties.

And this is exactly why every citizen needs to be armed in their castle when a violent criminal is physically and violently breaking down the front door your life is in danger. The second they make it through that door there life is to be ended. We need to change the laws that all violent criminals forfeit their right to life. They forfeit their life as a human being. Small charges that don't lead to jail time do nothing. Most of these repeat offenders couldn't care less that they keep racking up criminal charges and will keep violating other people's rights over and over again. You have to have an actual solution that will stop the problem

You only have a few minutes to act. Soooooo….. things gotta be solved on your own.
There's the root of the problem right there. A "licensed" firearm. These people voted their own freedoms away. They have made their beds, time to lay in them.
The problem is lack of prison housing. We haven't been building prisons to keep up with population growth, so the prisons overflow into the jails which overflow into the streets, which means living with more crime that previously would've been prevented by having a higher percentage of criminals off the streets.
America incarcerates over 5x more than any other country (per population total), over 0.5% of our total population. building more prisons wont solve this. harsher laws, death penalty (with far fewer appeals), less welfare; and most importantly, limits/laws on who is allowed to reproduce.

As you may have figured out america is going downhill in a hurry dont you? Do you not realize that people are dieing from wars crested by the corrupt government thst you most likely voted for and support today. Hey the wsy i see it is if people want to destroy the country they live in then so be it. Vote for more of what put us where we are today if it makes you feel good.
Chief Scott up thinking. "Shit, this isn't my city, I came here to collect my paycheck" That dude is out of here very soon. He doesn't give 2 chits about San Francisco.

Are we supposed to feel bad for them?
No but you can laugh a little. This is entertaining 😂
No more than for a cigarette smoker who develops lung cancer, eh?
@@PositronLaser1 fair enough. Live and laugh I guess
The Marina has been a haven for bad behavior. They're quite good at putting up a facade.
Sending our thoughts and prayers...keep voting blue no matter who
What ya'll support, enable and vote for. Enjoy.
Sad just sad. moved to fresno in aug and im finding out its worse here than riverside.
blame city council and the SF DA for not stopping the revolving door for these thieves and not caring about the safety of their residents. Sad that SF is looking more like Brazil when it comes to theft.
Detroit: do I look nothing to you 😂?
The Activists argue vociferously that crime is down.
The criminals are oppressed
Too many people in prison
The only reason people say crime is up is because of internet awareness
All nonsense
We need the military to step In
If it was up to me I'd buy all the homeless people at ticket to Aruba, get them all on the plane and then I guess it would just be unfortunate that we forgot to put fuel in the tanks or turn on the data recorders.
But in all seriousness, I have to ask. If all of the homeless were to disappear tomorrow would anyone really care? Or would everyone be elated?
If it was up to me I would arrest you for threatening to kill a mass amount of people. Fascist much?
I would be elated. They can't be helped, because they don't want help. You can't help an addict, they have to want to change more than they want to keep doing smack.
But they voted for this...for years...
Look at all the cool stuff I got at the marina. I found it on some guys boat!
When they are braking in your house wright to your governor 😂😂😂😂 you voted for it you got it 😂😂😂😂
As long as SF puts the rights of the perps over the victims, nothing will change. Actually it will get worse as it has done since i first moved here in 1982. Finally i moved out of SF proper. Was confronted one too many times. SF is too liberal for its own good.
A hot pot of oil will make them run away
SF leaders have failed. They need to pack up and find someone who actually is interested in fixing SF.
Alway remember what profession most legislators were in before becoming politicians. They were lawyers, protecting criminals. You shouldn’t expect them to tighten laws.
The guy with the back pack looks like a council member..my mistake just a criminal 👎
They forfeit their life and rights. No, Jerry no trial.
We need to place the blame where it belongs on the city officials who do not enforce the laws that are on the books, turned a blind eye are responsible for releasing the violent criminals back out in the public to pray on innocent victims.
With the cost of taxes and elevated cost of living, what the hell is our government doing? This is absolutely ridiculous
Did you vote for a government that put america first or did you label america first people racist and vote for america last politicians ?

@@Kencival so you voted for the people responsible for your own destruction. Yeah thats well thouht out. Is it the open borders or the refusale to prosecute criminals that you like best? Is it the level of drugs homeless or crime that you want to see increased the most? Maybe you prefer no electricity or gas. Yeah keep voting for the most unsustainable insane policies that are offered to you and keep wondering why things keep.getting worse for you. Usually it takes a liberal getting robbed or injured before it hits them they they voted for it. Its clear insanity.
@@Kencival you voted for the right to shit in the street shoot up in the street and steal up to $900 bucks worth of crap .
Anyone that thinks these are good political policies really should have to take an IQ test and score at least 75 or above to vote. That would eliminate democrat politicians in one election . Lol
Home of the dollar bail .
He should start an armed protest at Mayor London Breed house, District Attorney, and the police Chief.
Haha I bet the police will show up and do something then. Unless we dress as homeless users. In which case they will still move us because we are in a nice neighborhood
I keep my head on a swivel while in public continually in condition yellow (look it up). I am are responsible for my own personal safety and take steps to protect myself.
The magnitude of this issue is of the city’s making, lead by an ever expanding industry of NGOs and developers. Mischaracterizing it as a homeless problem when it’s primarily a drug/mental health problem.
HSH is budgeting 672M for the upcoming year. “The budget is characterized by significant investments in housing, shelter, and equity across the system.” There’s the priorities.
Why politicians in this city let people live a feral, subsistence lifestyle in the name of “compassion” is beyond me.
Welcome to the jungle rich entitled people 🎉❤🎉❤❤
Small charges that don't lead to jail time do nothing. Most of these repeat offenders couldn't care less that they keep racking up criminal charges and will keep violating other people's rights over and over again. You have to have an actual solution that will stop the problem
This is hilarious🤣 you got what you voted for!
Lol yep they all vote democrap!!!
Enough is enough.
If you are a law abiding citizen with no previous criminal history and have been assaulted, robbed, attacked in public a Concealed Carry should be acceptable and be issued with strict provisions:
1) Continuous Handgun Safety and Training twice a year with 100% Scoring on exams.
2) Staying out of trouble and not breaking the law.
3) Ensuring the firearm is CA Compliant.
These assholes think people are easy prey and so crime is becoming more prevalent and brazen.
Criminals will think twice about robbing that 'tech bro' when said bro pulls his VP9 SK out and puts 2 in your chest.
I see a garage break-in, a stolen motorcycle, and a crazy guy kicking a door. Marina residents have too much money and not enough things to do
Quit complaining its what you voted for
The once safe and privileged Marina neighborhood is now a target for thrives. 3 years ago when I was working for parks and rec for the city of SF, we cover all the parks around the Marina and Pacific Heights and the parks became the hangout for many of the homeless and drug users. I know this bc we would have to ask them to leave and clean up after them. You see lots of evidence of stolen items or parts and things that homeless ppl. isually have. Once I even found deliver health food that was delivered and stolen and just tossed away after opening bc they may have thought it was merchandise bc it was delivered in a box.
What do you expect it's "California"
We need the National Guard!
You need to move to red. Blue will never get any better.
Its not fair to the people in the national gaurd. The voters happily voted for these very insane policies that caused this issue and its very selfish to make someone else clean up the mess.
@@oozlefinch7109 please share names of some big red cities!! Could be very useful to have that data.
@@TM-qc5oz Thanks. You make my point. Big blue cities are no longer livable.
@@oozlefinch7109 I dont make your point at all. There arent many big red cities if at all there is any. May be you should ponder more on that, why red cities are not big.
Big cities are there for a reason, and if you cant figure that out, may be move to a small city and enjoy all the perks of a small city.
But as I said earlier, would love to know of any big red city to consider it as option to move away from the shit hole SF has become.
"So we can collect data"😂😂😂😂

That white boy kicking the door was very close to meet his maker. lol
SF law Like fishing! CATCH and RELEASE!
I usually catch fish and deep-fry.
Do we need to make changes?
People act like this is unique to SF. It’s every single city and town in the US. The reality is there isn’t a single safe place left in this country.
Wrong
Actually this is in large cities exclusively.
A little in the burbs around large democrst run cities. So 95percent of the area of the usa is completly normal. Its city democrsts .
You believe exactly whst the media want you to believe.
Ah, the Marina District-a neighborhood now entangled in the riddle of rising crime. The residents are clearly vexed, and who can blame them? The question remains: how will this intricate web of issues be unraveled? Solving this mystery will require sharp minds and bold action!

WOW the marina district used to be such a beautiful family friendly neighborhood but it’s now become another homeless encampment just sad feel sorry for those families stuck in this horrible situation thanks to woke policies brought to you by city officials
You saying woke shows another below average intelligence commentor
There should be a sign up on your own property saying beware, necessary actions will be taken if you’re trespassing.
All these homeowners should own a licensed weapon to use on these criminals for times like this. These criminals don’t deserve a slap on the wrist. The cops can’t get there on time. You only have a few minutes to act. Soooooo….. things gotta be solved on your own.
There's the root of the problem right there. A "licensed" firearm. These people voted their own freedoms away. They have made their beds, time to lay in them.
San Franciso gets what it votes for.
Ok but no one gonna talk about what the reporter wearing? Lol 👀
You voted for it so stop crying
If you try to stop the criminals you end up getting charge and put in jail.
That’s why you do research. They kicked out the previous residents, upgraded everything the homes but never addressed the problem.
I really hope this changes I’m trying to live in this area in about a year
Yeah, good luck with that. Don't hold your breath that it will be better in a year.
Is the California Democrat Party still chanting 'defund the police'? Time to wake up voters! ASAP
You don’t even know what that means genius
Did the guy who's house door was being kicked cross paths with the guy who was kicking.
You deserve all of this …. Stop complaining
The problem is lack of prison housing. We haven't been building prisons to keep up with population growth, so the prisons overflow into the jails which overflow into the streets, which means living with more crime that previously would've been prevented by having a higher percentage of criminals off the streets.
The problem is wicked spirits.
America incarcerates over 5x more than any other country (per population total), over 0.5% of our total population. building more prisons wont solve this.
harsher laws, death penalty (with far fewer appeals), less welfare; and most importantly, limits/laws on who is allowed to reproduce.
@@SpeedyCorky That's not going to solve it. How can you solve what your God does. Read the book.
