I am in Toronto, but all I'm seeing on the support page is just some basic information. I saw the ticket submission page last week but now I don't see it anymore...

I tried both options and I'm still having issues with getting a person. Can you share an email address that they reached you from? Looking at all the comments, it appears the directions in your video didn't help anyone.
@@walterwertz6267 We contacted them via the chat option, there was no email address, it's a live conversation. We've always had access to this and people have been pointing out that it doesn't seem to be the case for everyone else.
DOES NOT WORK
I think the real issue here is Mark laying off all his employees. There is no real support or help because no is there at HQ. He fired everyone. I feel like the next step for him is to just shut it all down

Don't give up. Keep hammering Meta. It took 7 months and over 45 requests from me to the support ticket (for updates) to finally get my business account back. My ad account is still restricted due to me refusing to pay the hacker's ad dollars spent (and which Meta said I was not responsible). So another 4 months now trying to get that cleared up. You must stay on them again and again and again. Send a complaint to California Attorney General - they responded to me and sent letter. Send a complaint to your own Attorney General. Then go to a place like People Clerk and send a demand letter. Do not stop. Don't let Meta's poor service win. They always say their "internal team" is so busy working on your issue - but it is not truthful. Just keep hammering them. We need to get loud.
its not even letting me send my request to recheck on why I got disabled. ive don't go against any guidelines and they just randomly banned my account. won't let me send support tickets

@@topdogk9services601 I was RELENTLESS. I refused to be ignored. But now I am still fighting them to remove fraudulent charges.
I did send a demand letter, contacted two attorney generals. Constantly sent follow up emails to Meta.
Hi Karen, I have a same problem you. My Ads account has been hacked. I have already reported to Meta, and they admitted that my account was compromised. The problem is they didn't clear my balance (there is still unpaid balance spent by the hacker). They had promised to fix it. But it's already been a month, and the balance hasn't been reset. What surprised me was that I had just gotten an email from Meta in which she stated: “Based on our initial investigation, we don’t believe there is evidence to suggest there was a compromise.” I was so shocked. What should I do? I'm not living in US, so I just can only send email to them. Thank you.
The fact that Facebook’s Customer Service is basically nonexistent for the consumer tells me that they really don’t care about their customers because they think that no matter how ticked off people get, the majority will keep using them.
However, there IS something that both consumers and businesses can do about this. As individuals, we can avoid clicking on ads within Facebook, because Pay per Click ads are seriously where Facebook probably makes the majority of its money. Businesses can help put Facebook in its place by not placing ads on there to start with.
Not clicking on the ads is honestly quite easy. If I see something on an ad on Facebook that interests me… I look it up in my browser manually (it’s actually easier to avoid scams that way).
Whilst I share your frustrations at times, I think most of us forget that they have 2 billion + users across their platforms and to manage that with live humans is next to impossible, hence there not being many options to get in touch. With Meta Verified, that seems to make more sense and the feedback so far I've heard has been mostly good. - C
@@Highseasonco While I understand your point, there are certain things for which they *should* have live people to deal with things. Like hacked accounts.
Also, yes, they have over 2 billion users… but that’s worldwide. They should have staff in each country they operate in to manage certain user problems for the users of that country. That would break it down a lot. China, India, and the US are the three largest countries in terms of population, but Facebook isn’t really accessible in China, and in India, the digital divide is still very much a thing. The upper and middle classes have internet access, but many people in the lower classes don’t even have electricity or basic facilities, never mind a way to access the internet. So, among the top 3 largest populations, the majority of Facebook users are American, and 330 million, while still a lot, is a great deal smaller than 2 billion. If they have the ability to censor posts to fit their political agenda, they should have the ability to manage actual account-based problems for users.
The solutions you proposed *might* work for people with business accounts, but they are useless for basic users. Meta doesn’t even have a way for consumers to contact a live person for its other divisions, which are far smaller!
They are a business. They have an obligation to their stakeholders. And the biggest group of stakeholders by far is the consumers.
@@Highseasonco Meta has tons of money - they buy companies to BURY them for god's sake! I didn't 'forget' they have billions of 'users', but it's all the more reason for them to have a support system in place. If not, the U.S. Congress will see to it they do -- Zuckerberg buys himself out of many troubles. Kinda like you are making money off this FAKE video. This doesn't work except for a tiny, tiny number of people. You could change the title of your video to reflect what it's REALLY about, but noooo, not when there's money to be made!

It's impossible. My friend's page got hacked and Facebook have done nothing. They can't be contacted about this, and it's been over a year. My friend lost his business over it.

I find Facebook support useless when it comes to complicated issues. I had a clearly obvious hacking issue and despite my pleas to escalate the issue, they just wouldn't. I have to keep opening different support tickets in the hope of getting a support agent who actually can ready what I'm sending them.

Any advice for a hacked Instagram?
Gina, I’m having a similar issue. Their support is useless. I had a hacking issue and it was very clear. They gave me a new page and basically gave the hackers full access to my business page. It’s super frustrating dealing with Meta. They’re a horrible company!

This just happened to me. They hacked my page which was linked to my business account where I had "boosted" ads and it was linked to my PayPal. My PayPal was just hacked, I disputed it and within 5 minutes, they found in favor of Meta in, even though it WASN'T ME. I'm ready to cry. I feel violated and helpless.

They must have changed it because now it just gives you help articles, either that or the option is only there during normal business hours and not nights or weekends. Some how a business account was opened under my FB and i requested a review over 6 months ago and they havent done anything. It was made by someone in russia and now i cant use meta business for my page and stuff because this person got me restricted

@@Highseasonco I think that's just a clear sign to stop using facebook. or any other Meta owned products.
For everyone wondering why you can't access live chat support: You can only get that option once you have created a business account and run at least one add with the bare minimum fee. Meta does not offer free help. They only help people that give them money. Another way to get your disabled account back for free is contacting your local AG but it's a process that could take a couple of months. That's all you can do
That may be the new rules, it wasn't always like that. At least any businesses who have ran ads can access support this way. The other way is via Meta Verified - C

Well, as facebook's policy now states that a account disabled for 30 days or more gets terminated the AG approach would not be possible either

If your Insta account is hacked and all recover/contact details are changed, seems you are just screwed. No way to reach meta/insta support to reinstate your account. Anybody any clues how to get back in control of your account in this case? Cheers!
Best bet is to get a personal account verified by paying for Meta Verified (even if you have to create a new one), and then access their premium support from there - C

I'm having the same experience now. My business account just got hacked via an ad so the hackers also had my credit card number and was making extra charges so I had to cancel the card and get a new one. They changed my business name to a number and removed me as administrator so my page is pretty much gone. Was talking to Meta once on chat and they said they'd open an investigation. They emailed me a couple of days later saying they found no evidence of a compromise and no further action would be taken. Tried to chat with them again, but they won't answer. I do have a few screen shots that indicate my case. Not only that, but it now says I have an outstanding balance of $94.45 (for a $15 ad) on my ads account that needs to be paid before they will reinstate my account, and I have no idea how to get my page back.
My account has been hacked and they have changed my email address and my phone number so I can get the recovery code. They are advertising things and using my children's photos. I have reported my profile and their ads and Mt family and friends have but they reply saying they won't take action. I don't want them using my profile or my photos. They have blocked me now but still using my account.😢. How can I get Facebook to take it down, it's a horrible feeling of someone using my children's photos without my permission, it's fraud pretending to be me

I facebook got locked and I received email from Meta, how does it looks that the email I recieved is from Meta? Are they really asking picture for verification?
Hi, it's unlikely that it's legit, they don't ever ask you for photos/ID via email, always via the app. If it's legit, it'd be sent from a Meta email address, the scammers are pretty obvious. - C
I am so angry I am verified on both Facebook & Instagram and the feature to speak with support does not show up for me .
Did you pay for Meta Verified? I don't know if the notable verified accounts get access to support, I've never seen it mentioned. BTW the other comment was a spammer/scammer, just ignore them - C
I cannot get to the live chat option. No matter how many times I go around in circles it just keeps sending me to an article list. I still don’t know what I did to break their policies!
Interesting, it could be something to do with your ad spend according to some of the other comments, but that's not verified. Another option is to pay for Meta Verification and get access to support from there - C
@GregSpencer-xh3lx this looks like a damn scam. You didn't even mention the issue, you just typed "this issue". You should know that makes it obvious you're lying.
If your situation is like mine, it was a hacker, not you, who violated Facebook's community standards.
Meta Verification is a joke. I have it but their support is clearly run by bots and NOT real people. You can tell from how it just ignores what you write and go back on their promises.

Hey! Someone hacked my Facebook about 2 years ago and the immediately changed the email on the account. Since then I have not been able to access this account. I just got an email saying that I will no longer be able to advertise on that account. Do you have any ideas on how I might be able to get back into that account or get in touch with someone to make sure that someone isn't using my information to sell things?

Hi Laura, did you have two-factor authentication turned on? If you did, it'll send you a text with a code that'll get you back into the account. And here is the FB Help page that should have some avenues: facebook.com/help - C

Hi! I run a Facebook page and instagram account for my job, but they won't connect to each other. It will let me connect them, but not confirm the connection. This means it won't let me post from one account to both. When I followed the links you provided it took me to my personal accounts account center and didn't let me talk to an agent. Any other insight for me on how to get in touch with meta? Or any suggestions for me to try?

I have the exact same problem!! Did you end up finding a resolution?
My credit card was being overcharged by Facebook Meta and I could not contact them to resolve the overcharging. Visa gave me two numbers to contact them but no one is there to speak to. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SUPPORT.
@smithadams8280 I think what Meta is doing is illegal, they give Visa their phone number for contacting them and no one is there. People are left hanging. TERRIBLE

OMG I'd be so angry about that and I can see how this can happen! My accounts were fully hacked..I am thanking God right now I never left any form of payment or links on FB Ever! I guess I'd be claiming fraud with my credit card account and also with the government.
Thank you for this video! I have been locked out of m IG account for months and I could never find a way to contact a live person. Just follow all the help articles down to a dead end that is useless. Actually spent 20 minutes with a paeron and hopeful that the issue will be resolved shortly.

@@Highseasonco thanks for your reply. I actually have had numerous chats with Meta support. They can see that my account is active. The issue now is that they won’t assist. They keep telling me to log in to the account and turn off 2 factor authentication. I don’t have the app anymore nor the backup codes. They keep saying the same thing and don’t seem to listen to me. I also had a phone call from support. It’s just that they keep telling me that they cannot help. I seem to think they just aren’t willing. My thought is to keep contacting them until they get tired and finally get me in.
Hi, I have been locked out of one my IG accounts for 2 years now, and just got blocked from my current one (received a real IG message saying my account was compromised and I violated a policy giving my details to another to grow my account - never did! and to change my password, which I did, twice, and I have authentication on etc etc). I can't get any help. My Facebook was hacked years ago, and they never helped me... had to start a new one. I have non stop social media issues I feel like, which is why I feel it's such a waste of time, but need my IG account. If someone could please help me I'd be very very grateful!

my recently created fb business account is restricted because i failed to confirm my identity and now it says i cant unrestrict it because it is too long since i received the message to confirm my identity. Also i cant find any way of contacting them? what can i do?

My problem is this;
I go the the busniess help center via the business account, I press the "addtitional support" button, which forces me to log into my personal account, and then I just get bombarded with self help articles....

Have a a business account as well. It’s also giving me and option to “Connect with a Meta Business Partner” which states the following:
“Meta Business Partners provide skilled support in everything from advertising to product sales. All partners are supported by Meta and vetted for excellence in their industries.”
What am I doing wrong?
Hi Samuel, just to confirm, I went through the link myself just now. Make sure you're logged in to your FB account. Then you choose your ad account (I have a lot but I chose my personal account just to see what happened). I then selected my issue, and it gave me a solution but there was a button down the bottom that says Contact Support, which takes you to a form and an immediate chat (right now it's a wait of 2 minutes). So perhaps it's something to do with your account, I'm not sure what it could be seeing as it worked for my personal account. Maybe try from your personal account? And re the Meta Business Partner, reach out to them just to see what happens, reach out to them and see how they can assist. Sorry I couldn't help more! - C

I can confirm that this program is only offered to select advertisers on the platform. Unfortunately Meta recently announced that they are letting go most of the agents in program so it will become available to even fewer advertisers now.
thanks for posting, unfortunately it does not work. My issue is that while I have an agency, when I got a new phone it didn't recognize it and I can't access the code generator because I can't log in. These options all now appear to require you to login before you can submit the support request. I've tried my old phone, multiple devices, nothing works.
Hi Neil, ah right, that's a bit of a difficult one. I'm not sure where else you can go, if you have a decent amount of ad spend on any of your accounts then you could use these methods (we didn't know that when we made the video), or if you're spending on ads at all you should have an ad rep reach out. I hope you get it sorted - C
These options do not work anymore I am afraid. Are there other new options as it has basically become impossible to get in touch with anyone from META
The best newest way to reach out would be to get one of your FB or IG accounts verified via Meta Verified (ie paid), and that will give you access to their premium support - C
Hi. How do I fix a disabled ad account due to payment failure? No matter how many times I tried to pay using different debit/credit cards from different banks, all with sufficient amount, the payment still failed.

I’m at a loss,please help. Personal and business account hacked. I’m assuming all I do was changed as I can not verify anything to get logged back in. I tried submit the appeal with my drivers license and that was denied as well. 15 years of timeline and memories with my kids gone. 2300 followers on my business account gone. I don’t know what to do.
Hi Stephanie, the best bet is to verify your personal IG or FB account (whichever isn't hacked) via Meta Verified and access the premium support from there. That'd be the biggest opportunity to guarantee support - C

Hey! I can’t get into my account fully as two factor is connected but I have lost my phone number and cannot gain access to any recovery codes. I am still on the email that is connected to the account however everytime I log in and even change the password it still requires the phone number code to continue (which I can’t get anymore) what should I do? Thank you so much!

I'm having the same problem. Phone was destroyed, can't get into the email connected to my fb account. Tried from new phone, says "use a previous device", well, it was literally crushed. It tells me, "sorry, but without a device you previously signed in from, we can't trust you enough to give you a new password..".

I purchased the META promotion for my Market place item I wanted to sell. The only people that contacted me were people who were being paid to click. These people just clicked my ad on Market place and asked 'is this still available'. and then disappeared. I got about 5 'clickers' per day, everyday, until the promotion ended. After that, It went quiet. So after a week of no body contacting me about my ad whatsoever, I purchased another promotion from Meta and almost instantly the same kind of people with fake Facebook profiles started clicking my ad asking again, "Is this still available", and then disappeared. And so I tried to contact META for a refund but there was no way to contact them. If there is a way it is cleverly hidden and not visible on their home page like legitimate companies. All META communications via email to me are to a 'no-reply' return email so I can't contact them. I got scammed. But I'm not alone. This is happening to a lot people. Just do a search on google and you will see this is the META business model. BEWARE of any company that bills you and does not allow you to make any inquiries about the bill. This company is way to powerful - BE WARNED.

Both of the links in the video took me to a useless "support" screen that did not permit me any options for live support. It's possible your video is accurate for some people, but that Meta allows larger advertisers access to screens that smaller fish can't get. My ad account has been blocked for more than a week. Meta support worked on the issue 3 days ago, sending me multiple form messages that they had unblocked it, to which I replied that it was still blocked. I finally got something that was a different response, but also claiming a fix. Well they solved *their problem*: the final message I got from support would not accept a reply. And now every time I try to open a new case, it says I already have an open case.

It used to be /accountquality but they recently changed it, it should let you fix any issues. Yes it’s business support home now account quality is renamed as such. When I go to that page it takes me to payment settings but I can’t do anything as I m not allowed to make any changes. I was a Meta Marketing Pro for 2 years and I can confirm that this is an invitation only program. It was available outside North America but with Meta downsizing the program it will be fairly difficult to get into anymore.

If your business has a large following or runs a lot of ads, perhaps then an algorithm enables contact functionality for your business. Quite discriminatory. My business is small, and just starting to try to run ads on Meta, and the contact function is turned off for us so we can't reach any support at all.

None of these options worked for me. Each one said it was unavailable to me. I have had a disabled account for over 2 years and have opened so many ticket and provided all the automated systems have asked, but still no response.
