No matter how many times we tell them everything or explain everything to them, they just simply don't understand. Weeks of back and forth conversation usually leads to nothing. Seems like they have hired untrained children as support reps at Facebook unfortunately.
It's unreal that the system of Facebook is so bad that we are paying them and this still keeps happening. There needs to be legal consequences for this. had a request in for review for over a year and still no response despite saying I would hear back in 48 hours. I broke no rules that I know of.

Hey I recently just started as freelance marketer, currently have 3 projects on Facebook ads managing meaning also 3 accounts invited me to be admin. After setting up my own account 3-4 days back they suddenly requested identity verification, the decision came back in few minutes and the account was fine. Yesterday I got my third client on board accepted their invite for them as account and now my account is disabled for 180 days. I appealed with video and additional passport picture. Even after I just shared it few days back. The funny thing I haven’t even ran any campaign from these accounts yet. And I always get these something went wrong error when trying to access facebook. I will then switch to another browser where it would work for while until I get the same error ( cleared the cache multiple times).

Yes. I had a previous old ticket that had been responded to, so I used this to reply because the other one the "button" wouldn't work., and wrote them detailed emails with screenshots etc. I got a response, but then that too his a dead end so I kept going back to replying from the old ticket and eventually they did acknowledge it as the account was improperly locked. However, in that time I found a work around by creating a new ad account, so now I have two that work, but only use the new one.
First of all you are great explainer! secondly on this topic you are too soft on META's stupid policies, I remember my ad account was disabled last year & META representatives were like we cannot tell you the policies you violated when where how but you certainly did violated our policy so we cannot restore your ad account everyone on chat call email had the similar tone, Once they all decided that account cannot be restored the next day my ad account was up & running. Yes! Our acct. is disabled going on 6 months now because the acct. was hacked, they ran ads under our acct. and now I have “phone” event parameters violating rules that seem to be linked to my pixel. I have no idea how to fix this and have tried everything. We had a small company manage the ad acct. and they can’t fix it either. I’m beyond frustrated with FB ads and have almost given up. I just set up my ad account and it got disabled. They say they couldn't charge a pending hold. I used 3 different cards from 3 different banks and each card can be used at other merchants online just fine. There's no way for me to reactivate it so far. I've tried everything T-T my help center doesn't have the chat option either

Banned ad account means no longer request review again and no access to contact chat support anymore. You are talking about disabled ad account. You should understand the difference first.

@@BenHeath I thought I read that you are not allowed to create a new ad account linked to the same business page and if they find that you do that, then they can permanently ban you from your page/ad accounts etc. I'm a little confused on when we are allowed to create a new account and when we arent.
Our account has been in review for months and we ask for an update they just tell us to wait. I’ve spoken with several different people on support and they do nothing to help. I’m 100% sure this works for accounts that spend big money, but for new accounts this does not work.

If you don't have one that probably means Meta has decided you aren't getting your ad account back. In which case, you'll need to create a new one I'm afraid.

I just figured mine out…. My account was restricted. You can Create a different Facebook account, any Facebook account. After you done that, link that Facebook account to your Instagram account then go into settings and activity where you will scroll down and see ‘Ad payments’. IN BLUE, you will click ‘Add new payment method & Facebook account’ your new ad account will be added

Thanks for posting this. When I go to the main business help page, it doesn't have the options that you are showing. I click the "Get Started" button and the next screen is totally different with no option to contact advertising support. I also can't appeal because it's been too long. Any other ideas? And I can't create a "new ad account" because it says my old one is in bad standing. So I can't figure out how to get around their loop. We had a commerce page set up that was tied to ads, then they banned our products from Facebook and the ad was still set to run. So they kept rejecting it and we couldn't figure out what was wrong... And then the timeframe for the ad ran out, so we stupidly ignored it. I'm in a horrible loop with no help.

They literally replace the urls and links every few entries you do. Their system is designed to not be able to reach a real person so easily because they dont want to be bothered unless you are spending a big amount via ads with them. Then you get assigned a personal agent/project manager

Yeah it's really annoying, same thing happened to me. Basically if you get banned before you'd set up your business account there is no way to contact them.
Hello! I live by your videos! My account was hacked and now disabled for 4 days now. I have contacted them several times and now my ability to be able to message support is suddenly gone. They keep saying I have a copyright issue and keep sending me dead links? Everyone keeps telling me to just start a new ad account but for me to do that I have to start a whole new business page is that correct? My business page is 5 years old. Ah that really sucks. Did you also request a review? If so, I would wait to hear back about that. That should reinstate your as account if you have been hacked and there aren’t actually any copyright issues. If that doesn’t work I’d then look to create a new ad account. I don’t think you’ll need to create a new Page. You should be able to use the existing one provided that hasn’t also been disabled.

they'll never refund you by their own... gotta call your bank and dispute to get a chargeback... but after 180 days it's very hard to get so the quicker the better, don't wait!

They must have changed things on their website because in the 2nd approach I have got as far as the page with "Personalised help, chosen just for you" at the top but there is no "Additional Support - Need more help with advertising?" section on the page so I can't go any further. Any idea where I can find that or is it gone completely?

Yes. I had a previous old ticket that had been responded to, so I used this to reply because the other one the "button" wouldn't work., and wrote them detailed emails with screenshots etc. I got a response, but then that too his a dead end so I kept going back to replying from the old ticket and eventually they did acknowledge it as the account was improperly locked. However, in that time I found a work around by creating a new ad account, so now I have two that work, but only use the new one.

First of all you are great explainer! secondly on this topic you are too soft on META's stupid policies, I remember my ad account was disabled last year & META representatives were like we cannot tell you the policies you violated when where how but you certainly did violated our policy so we cannot restore your ad account everyone on chat call email had the similar tone,

Yes! Our acct. is disabled going on 6 months now because the acct. was hacked, they ran ads under our acct. and now I have “phone” event parameters violating rules that seem to be linked to my pixel. I have no idea how to fix this and have tried everything. We had a small company manage the ad acct. and they can’t fix it either. I’m beyond frustrated with FB ads and have almost given up. We also have multiple pixel codes in the ad acct. (by the hackers) that I can’t change or delete only blocked the dozens of URLs the -pixels are linked to.

I just set up my ad account and it got disabled. They say they couldn't charge a pending hold. I used 3 different cards from 3 different banks and each card can be used at other merchants online just fine. There's no way for me to reactivate it so far. Banned ad account means no longer request review again and no access to contact chat support anymore. You are talking about disabled ad account. You should understand the difference first.

Second option- Contact advertising support is not there. This video is 11 months old. Not sure if they updated the site but this option is not there
If you don't have one that probably means Meta has decided you aren't getting your ad account back. In which case, you'll need to create a new one I'm afraid.

I just figured mine out…. My account was restricted. You can Create a different Facebook account, any Facebook account.
After you done that, link that Facebook account to your Instagram account then go into settings and activity where you will scroll down and see ‘Ad payments’. IN BLUE, you will click ‘Add new payment method & Facebook account’ your new ad account will be added

Thanks for posting this. When I go to the main business help page, it doesn't have the options that you are showing. I click the "Get Started" button and the next screen is totally different with no option to contact advertising support. I also can't appeal because it's been too long. Any other ideas? And I can't create a "new ad account" because it says my old one is in bad standing. So I can't figure out how to get around their loop. We had a commerce page set up that was tied to ads, then they banned our products from Facebook and the ad was still set to run. So they kept rejecting it and we couldn't figure out what was wrong... And then the timeframe for the ad ran out, so we stupidly ignored it. I'm in a horrible loop with no help.

No they haven't. It's just not available for everyone. It's advertiser specific.

Yeah it's really annoying, same thing happened to me. Basically if you get banned before you'd set up your business account there is no way to contact them.

Hello! I live by your videos! My account was hacked and now disabled for 4 days now. I have contacted them several times and now my ability to be able to message support is suddenly gone. They keep saying I have a copyright issue and keep sending me dead links? Everyone keeps telling me to just start a new ad account but for me to do that I have to start a whole new business page is that correct? My business page is 5 years old. I hate the thought of losing it. I just want them to help me! Any other suggestions?

Ah that really sucks. Did you also request a review? If so, I would wait to hear back about that. That should reinstate your as account if you have been hacked and there aren’t actually any copyright issues. If that doesn’t work I’d then look to create a new ad account. I don’t think you’ll need to create a new Page. You should be able to use the existing one provided that hasn’t also been disabled.

@@BenHeath no am sure it's my first Ad account I was creating it while watching your Facebook Ads playlist, so I was shocked to see that it got disabled straight away. I even left it for a couple days to see if it'd resolve but it's still the same thing

they'll never refund you by their own... gotta call your bank and dispute to get a chargeback... but after 180 days it's very hard to get so the quicker the better, don't wait!

They must have changed things on their website because in the 2nd approach I have got as far as the page with "Personalised help, chosen just for you" at the top but there is no "Additional Support - Need more help with advertising?" section on the page so I can't go any further.
