8 have faithfully supported you guys for 37 years .I'm a disabled guy who has no choice but to rely on the state I last watched you guys T Castle field as I have to use crutches and foot supports me and my y friends and fAmily went from my hospitAl room to CaStlefield And you and the slow readers club were excellent .
But the price of the tickets for Halifax (£150)each surprised and devastated me as I now see I will never be able to see you're wonderfull performances again .How could you cut out such a big part of the base that have caught you're records and CDs and attended concerts for decades .It breaks my heart to see you think these prices are in any way fair .good luck with you're tour but I feel like you have used me until you felt you'd got a wealthier audience .totally gutted

I love all the attention Bossanova and Trompe are getting at the moment, PLEASE don't let them get buried under Pilgrim/Surfer/Doolittle again.... they ALL deserve representation out on the road. (Indie Cindy through Doggerel too, but at least they've gotten stage time over the last decade unlike Bossanova and Trompe)

In person, at some shows, they sound SUPER heavy and rock harder than Megadeath or Metallica. The records don't capture this aspect of their greatness.

@@DiegoMedina74 They're older, of course, and you and me too... I loved Pixies too much in the 90s to appreciate Frank Black's solo albums, which I rediscovered during his Bluefinger era (a masterpiece). I think he always writes great songs, which now are like a mix of old Pixies sound and him solo.

Mais certes, l'alchimie refonctionne plutôt bien entre eux (sans sous-estimer la frappe de Dave bien sûr). En tout cas, le résultat dépasse de loin les tentatives solos de Charles et de l'unique album de The Martinis.
Alors, effectivement après tout, tant qu'ils trouvent une bassiste/choriste compétante....
