Great case! Trying my best to learn as much as I can about digital dentistry and 3D printing while still in dental school. So refreshing to see what is possible !
This is major. I love milling and I love printing. Printing brings what used to be stuck with exclusively lab based ceramic techniques to the chairside realm
Great case! , may i ask, a bit off topic , is the Phrozen 14k 3D printer +wash & cure unit good enough for dental use and printing veneers? .Thanks again
Is this a permanent or temporary solution? If permanent how those composite looks after a year or couple of years? Im really curious. Thank you. Great effort.
Nothing is permanent in dentistry. But I explain to my patients that this is a 3-5 year solution. That’s also what I tell them about direct resin veneers. Regarding what they look at 3 years. Well I now have case at the 4 year mark. They look slightly better than direct resin. But not as good as porcelain. So common sense wins as this is exactly what I expected
I am super pump with the possibility of today's technology..
Thank you for sharing your workflow🎉.. really inspiring

great job dr wally ! wanted you to ask you what do u think about sarmeco ( crowntec) material for permanent printed veneers?
I hear good things. Right now wear is the weakest link in 3D printed resins

Hi what resin did you use? Also have you got any tutorials on staining? Great video
Yes I have a few detailed tutorials on staining. Used ONX tough 2.0
Hi Wally, love your cases, what printer did you use to print in 20minutes?
Sprintray Pro II
what is your cement protocol for 3d printed veneers
It'd be: Sandblast+Silane+Bond
Awesome case! The patient had to be thrilled. What did you think about the Ori scanner?
Sweet little form factor but they have a little work to do in the color accuracy. They are supposed to be sending an updated one to me to test.
Hi doc, what kind of printer and scanner do you use? Thank you
I tend to use Primescan or Trios. I mostly use Sprintray Pro II these days
Thank you doc
