- . My firt MIDAS veneer case. This was the hardest No prep 3D printed veneer case of my career. This case is not really a no prep case. This is comprehensive ortho and min prep veneer case. Which is the treatment I presented to the patient. The patient refused ortho and didn’t want any tooth reduction whatsoever. my typical response to all these demands is “ yea sure, I want to ride to work on a unicorn but that doesn’t happen”. But, with 3D printing I find I am able to meet patiets where they are and offer other solutions that I would be reluctant to offer with porcelain. We printed these 200 microns thick on the Midas using the new 70% filled resin. I then thinned them out by hand to under 100 microns thick. #midas #veneers #exocad #3dprinting
It's amazing doc,how much does each veneer cost please ? Thanks
Love it! Especially the part about the delivery, all at once !
Could you make a video on how to import MODJAW scan data into EXOCAD and use the data for designing? Many thanks for your amazing videos!
Amazing work doctor! I was wondering where do you draw the marginline when working on a cases like this? How do you manage the veneer to blend in seamlessly at the margins?
Well the margin isn’t even drawn. Use mockup in exocad it’s revolutionary. The entire design is under 10 minutes.
@@wallyrenne Thank you for the reply Dr. Wally. That's amazing!
What is your slice thickness set at on your printer when printing that thin? ....25?
Still 100 microns for Z. It’s the XY resolution that matters (pixel dot size)
Fantastic Sir... what is name of that 3D printer? What is price of the 3D printer? Please also mention the filled resin brand you used? What will be prognosis of this? Is this resin is strong to with the stant occlusal forces?
Sprintray Midas and a new Sprintray resin. Both are not out yet, so no pricing.
@@travels5416so does this dentist have early access to the resin?
Nice work! What is the finishing or glaze protocol? Looks incredible…
Candy coat technique I have a youtube tutorial
What did you use for cementstion?
I have flexcera resin did you try it?
I have a whole different video on bonding. Flexcera is ok for anterior but wears too much for posterior. It is a last generation 5 year old resin at this point.
Where is this Video?
I did not find it
Hey Wally, I saw the announcement email for this a couple of weeks ago and it looks really interesting. Has Sprintray shared technical specs of the new resin with you as far as flexural strength, modulus, etc?
Flexural strength is just over 200 MPa and I think modulus was 15Gpa
@@wallyrenne Hey, that's great for a print. Exciting to see those numbers. Thanks
