IN THE SOUP! Flying approaches IN THE SYSTEM with CFII Troy Kinsey

In this instrument rating lesson, we learn how to obtain an IFR clearance on the ground at an uncontrolled field without radio reception or an RCO (remote communications outlet), then we head to Tallahassee International Airport to fly the ILS Runway 27 approach. The ceiling was low enough that we experienced plenty of actual IMC (instrument meteorological conditions).

@@troy_kinsey Cole says I need to fly with you. I have 8 more hours simulated instrument until my checkride. I still have to do my cross country, but my CFII thinks I've been ready for my checkride for a while. He is still trying to get his IPC. That's why I haven't done it. I really just need a safety pilot that is IFR current and can file.
