    I love your hair so much! I’m so happy for you and I really do love your results!! I’m going to be getting my first Botox treatment next week 💖 I do have one question, are we allowed to use any type of sulfate free shampoos and conditioners or are there certain shampoos/conditioners we have to use in order to maintain the Botox?

      Thanks so much! How exciting you’ll love it! And hmm I’m not sure my hair dresser just told me to use the brand I’ve been using so I’ve just stuck to that one… I’m sure you hair dresser will have recommendations for other brands that can work as well… thanks again for watching my video😊

    I’m glad you found something that works for you. Although I not going to lie… I wish you were able to figure out how your hair works in its curly state as well. But I definitely understand especially with it not growing or retaining length as you would like.

      Thanks 😊 and yeah I know I’m wondering if when I finally get it to the length that I love I’ll just stop the Botox and try to maintain that length now without Botox

    Thanks for making this video. Not many black women talking about this treatment. Does your texture revert back to the original state if you stop doing the treatments? For example, by the time you go for another treatment is your hair still straight/ wavy at the ends when you wash it with Afro textured roots?

      @stephaniepierre1  4 місяці тому +1

      Np! And So it will revert back to your natural hair but the ends usually stay the same so it would be a grow out method kind of like when you stop a perm I think. I haven’t stopped completely so I’m not sure if maybe over time your ends will kind of start to get curlier without the treatment it on it for severely months in a row…but I know when it hits 4 months it’s usually only my roots that start to show the new growth and the ends stay with the treatment still…. Hope that makes sense lol and thanks so much for watching my video🤗

    Hi Stephanie. Thank you for sharing your experience and educating us on what the process is and the pros and cons. Your hair looks beautiful and it has grown dramatically. I’m not a professional hair stylist, but since you were able to grow your hair long in the past, I believe your hair does grow at an average rate of 0.5 inches per month but you were not retaining length. The “Botox’ is helping to condition and strengthen your hair and not have to harshly manipulate it when blow drying and styling so all the length that grows is not breaking off. The process is working so keep it up! Can I ask why you will continue to wear extension now that your hair is long?

      Thanks so much and thank you for watching my video…. And I still wear my extensions because my natural length is still not exactly where I want it to be yet…. I think if my hair continues to grow the way it is it eventually it will be the same length as my extensions so at that point I would mostly likely would not wear them anymore and if I did it would be for more volume

      @@stephaniepierre1 whenever I want to try a product I hear about I will buy from Amazon or the direct sight. I saw it said gloss but could not find it anywhere. I'm here in Florida so I was not sure if it was a local to your area product or not. I googled and did not find it and did not see it on Amazon either. I did find something from Nutree a Brazilian bondox. But I don't know if it similar or not. Thanks for the info.

      @@stephaniepierre1it's a semi-permanent straightening technique very similar to a *true* keratin treatment. All the celebrities with naturally curly hair does it. It's usually caucasian, Latina and bi-racial women who have the most amazing looking blowouts have naturally curly hair! The bounce from a round brush blowout just hits different on us than a person with wavy or straight hair....usually if you double take at a woman's gorgeous blowout, she has 3a-4c hair ❤
