I really appreciate your ideas! I love the list of all drawing ideas and having that near you so you can pick something random when hitting artist's block
From my experience, what I can share with you is that art block occurs when we do too many things in a short period of time. At first, it may give you the happiness of knowing that you have completed a few tasks in a short period of time. But in actuality, it drains the energy source from your creativity company that you have stored. When we want to solve something, we slightly use our creative power to make it smooth. Yeah, that's it. Paying attention to your necessities could be very challenging due to the many responsibilities that we carry on our shoulders. I know it's easier to say than do, but your mental health is way more important than others or things. Our art creations are our first healers, who truly allow us to live in our own world without any judgment or criticism. I personally will shut down every noise, prepare coffee, play calm beat music, and purposely search for images related to the idea of what we would like to create next. This behavior immediately breaks the heavy blockages into pieces and totally resets the mood.
Thank you for sharing your solutions, this is really helpful😊 Even though I am not struggling with art block, I can relate to the situations you described, being overwhelmed by the huge flood of ideas and by the everyday tasks, that just have to be done. Writing a list with all your ideas, which you mentioned in the beginning, has worked out for me very well 😊 I like what you said about product design at the end, this was new for me. I think, allowing yourself to be inspired by others while giving your art your very own personal touch, is part of the learning process 😊 I like the beautiful, lovingly painted details in your picture 😊 Keep on the good work😊⚘️ PS: the picture of Mary with the child on your wall in the first seconds of your video caught my eye and just gave me a pleasant flashback of my childhood, we used to have a smaller version of the same picture 😊 Take care 😊
I'm so glad you liked it! I'm glad there are others who relate to similar situations as me 🥰 also how cool that you connected to the painting in the back !
I can relate to you when it comes to art block. I hit that wall two months before my finals. I just couldn't draw or paint because I was always thinking about the projects I should be doing instead. Now, I'm trying to jump over that wall and feel less stressed when my art doesn't live up to my expectations
Beautiful beetles :)! I have the same problems; I have tons of ideas that overwhelm me, and a constant stream of things I need to do to be productive, and when I do have free time I spend it scrolling... it's been killing my creative drive. You are so inspiring!
i love them!! i use them for both gouache and watercolor they seem to be holding up really well! i just make sure i don't let the gouache dry in them and thoroughly wash them :)))

Thank you !! 🥰 and yes, that list has saved me a million times so I highly recommend it!!
another thing you can do is change the place you're drawing at! if you usually draw at your desk, go to your bed, or your couch, or the park even.
thats great! tbh i didnt even think of that, but that sounds like a very good way to help art block! :))
@@dawnnn999 happy to help :))
I love these. The bugs are awsome. Very vibrant.

Love these ideas. They are also great for when you come home tired from work and want to get into a mood for drawing.
Thabk you 🥰🥰 and I'm very familiar with that feeling haha
