I'm sitting here watching and crying!! So very happy for you. I'm sentimental about the kitchen because it was in that kitchen that I learned how to can. Sarah did a video on not being afraid of a canner and showed the Presto 16-qt. as a "beginner" one, and that's what I purchased. I learned so much ... and learned to make my own mozzarella cheese and bagels there too. The Lord used you to bless so many and to prepare us for days ahead ... days we are living in right now. I pray God will bless you, not only in your willingness to teach us with patience, but you were consistent at it. Thank you so much. I am in the process of looking for what I call a "farmette" (if you know what a kitchenette is, you'll understand my farmette) ... and that is entirely because of you faithful stewards who truly answered a call. I don't know how you see it, but I believe you were called to do exactly what you're doing ... you've brought forth much more "fruit" than what your gardens produced, and this old girl is so grateful for you. Hands down, my most favorite and most watched channel on UA-cam. Said it before, I learned a lot from you guys. In 2017 my husband and I inherited a home on 20acres. We weren’t sure what we wanted to do. This year we plan on spending our summer there, gardening and raising chickens. We’ll see how it go!!
If I had 20 acres I would build tiny homes for seniors and let them tend to a community garden, of which I would also feed my family. The renters would pay all your expenses. Plus you might learn from them and make new friends. God has Blessed you with the hard work results of your relatives. Awesome for homestead or opportunities.

Not sure how you kept from tearing up there at the end. The water works started for me. Yours was the first homesteading channel God put in front of me when we were being lead to leave the city. I think one of the first videos I watched was Sarah cutting lettuce from raised beds and preparing it to sell in little bags. Without realizing it, you became an inspiration and a daily source of encouragement for us as we prepared ourselves to move. We were Missouri bound without a doubt but ended up landing in East Texas because of the timing of our move and family issues. So many wonderful memories of your videos. I remember the night Sarah and the girls had been sick and Kevin made soup. I remember when the pigs got loose and the hilarious mayhem that followed and that beautiful garden they left for you after you moved them. I remember the snake and the head-bopping guinea video. The meat chicken taste test. Too many wonderful memories to list. I pray that God continues to bless your family in this new chapter of your lives. You have certainly been a blessing to us and many others.

I've been out there and the property is beautiful. Tucked away but not so far away from town that you have to make special plans to get there. What a blessing you will be able to pass onto someone, a ready-made Homestead!!!
I can tell you, they have a brand new home and it is lovely also and on some land, doesn't look like as much as they had, but I would say enough to do what they wanted to do.....check it out...they showed us what it looked like inside, but if they did one later when it was furnished, I must have missed it....I plan on checking it out tho.....Think it's still in Missouri....they love that State....just don't know the exact area tho.....but it's nice there....
The indoor air quality in an old house like this is better than in new prefabricated buildings full of chemicals. Too bad you left those nice cabinets. The new owners are lucky.
What a poignant video! When my husband and I left our home and 8 acres of 30 years on the edge of a tiny town to move to the country, we also left behind many good memories and lots of oak trees my husband had planted and nurtured. Bittersweet, but the new home-sweet-home has produced lots of memories now! And you, Kevin and Sarah will make tons of new memories and grow tons of food at your new place. Love you guys!! Gosh, that brought back a flood of feels. In 2018-19 your channel gave me a respite while caring for mom and dad until their deaths in June and Aug. 2019. I'd look forward to flopping in bed at night, exhausted, and be able to spend a few hours away from the worry and sadness. I know God will bring a great family to love the land! 💜

I found this channel when I was looking for bread recipes. Have followed avidly ever since. Wish I could live like that but as a single person in my 70s I’m stuck living in the city in my tiny home. But I live the country lifestyle vicariously through LTH. And Kevin’s recipes for bagels and English muffins are my favorites.

I have learned SO much from you guys and this property, and now I am on my own journey to homesteading. Bought 4 acres last Sept and have my first quail eggs on day 16 in the incubator, putting up fences, getting a garden area ready, SO much work but I know it will all be worth it. It's always fun to see what you keep finding to do next. We have managed to put together wood pallet stuff and hog panel stuff and fabricked the garden and now have 19 chickens and an incubator on the way. (Just need a nice rooster now, lol). We butchered 3 or our own turkeys this fall. I don't think we'll try to do anything bigger--we're in our 70s now and can't do "all the things" anymore! But you've kept us inspired! God bless!

I found this channel when I was looking for bread recipes. Have followed avidly ever since. Wish I could live like that but as a single person in my 70s I’m stuck living in the city in my tiny home. But I live the country lifestyle vicariously through LTH. And Kevin’s recipes for bagels and English muffins are my favorites.

Planting fruit trees is always looking to the future. I am 72 and we just planted 20 fruit trees/bushes! I hope I can eat a couple of the fruits in this life. Someone is going to love your old homestead!

I have learned SO much from you guys and this property, and now I am on my own journey to homesteading. Bought 4 acres last Sept and have my first quail eggs on day 16 in the incubator, putting up fences, getting a garden area ready, SO much work but I know it will all be worth it. Thank you for all that you do to help educate all of us!

I can't help to cry like I'm leaving the place! You guys are such a wonderful family and great teachers! I've learned the value of homesteading and how to provide good healthy food even if I don't have a farm. And I thought watching this how important it is to be good stewards of the little baby animals. I know I probably looked at them as all pets but also great respect for the value God has placed on creating and providing anything we need to thrive. Thanks Homestead! It's always fun to see what you keep finding to do next. We have managed to put together wood pallet stuff and hog panel stuff and fabricked the garden and now have 19 chickens and an incubator on the way. (Just need a nice rooster now, lol). We butchered 3 or our own turkeys this fall. I don't think we'll try to do anything bigger--we're in our 70s now and can't do "all the things" anymore! But you've kept us inspired! God bless!
