I snack on berries. I think I might hire someone to fold laundry. Postpartum is awful. 2nd and 3rd child I was gluing windows shut. Pushing furniture in front of the window. I had to be put on anxiety meds. Still taking anxiety meds years later in life.
About a month ago is when I finally tried to Nutella for the first time! For years I've listened to you rave about how delicious it is but I feared it tasting like hazelnut coffee creamer and I dislike that stuff! So my favorite go to snack right now is Nutella and Ritz crackers! 😋🤎 So good!!
I love the furniture reconfiguration on your balcony! It really opened the space. Have a great weekend, Kim scissor hands! 😂 (I call the junk drawer the "utility drawer" - softens the chaos.)
Just checked 70 Fahrenheit and that is pretty COLD! As a fellow hot an humid climate dweller (the UAE to be precise) we rarely ever go that low in temperature😂

I didn’t get dressed for the first month I don’t know what happened to the nappies my first was a permanent sucking machine 😂 I think sometimes the thought of potty training is worse than the actual thing !My fourth was 3 before she was out of nappies but she did it both day and night within a week after someone sent princess knickers at Christmas my older children were under 2 . I did try with the youngest she just wasn’t interested ! Honestly if it’s warm and Wolfgang can run around with pull down trousers that’s the time to have a go but if he’s not ready leave and revisit in a few months . How many ten year olds do you see in nappies 😻
Love the story of the 17 diapers. It’s so important after having a baby to take it easy and not put so much pressure on yourself. After my 3rd baby, he was a premature baby and was in the NICU for 3 months, and the first week I was pushing myself so much because I was stressed and overwhelmed. Long story short,I was 1 week postpartum I was visiting my son and I ended up passing out in the hospital and hit the back of my head on the corner of a desk due to low blood pressure and lack of sleep. Thankfully I wasn’t holding my 30 week premature son. So postpartum moms, don’t put so pressure on yourself to make sure everything is getting done. Be kind to yourself. Let the 17 diapers lay around the house, go a day or two without a shower, don’t stress about dishes or laundry, etc. make sure you’re eating and getting some rest in between of taking care of your newborn. Eating, staying hydrated, and sleep is extremely important postpartum. Your body is healing. Everyone else, instead of judging, how about words of encouragement or a helping hand.
