I always liked these songs but Seconds is depressing. Because it’s about JFKs death and how quickly and brutally one can die and senselessly. I saw his Autopsy photos showing him dead and laid out with his eyes open and a blank, dead stare. 😮 I regret seeing those photos. Because I can’t get the images out of my head and they depressed the hell out of me. He was so witty, vital and charming and then he’s dead on a table with the back half of his head blown off and turned to mush. That photo shook me. But the dead and open staring eyes devastated me. As if the bloody and brutal Zapruder film 🎞 wasn’t bad enough showing his head explode like a Tomato Can !🥫 Yuck! 😮😱🫥
Suzanne is always on the left of the stage. I will make sure I am suitably positioned when I see them on the 6th July. Her little gyrations are enough to keep me watching her 🙂
What can I say, I'm shocked I remember the great band of the 80's. It no longer sounds good when compared to Nick Kershaw or Howard Jones who still sound amazing.
@@thecocktailian2091Probably saw them way before you when Phil had 2 slideshow machines and they supported Siouxsie …. They were great then, but I stand by my opinion that they became commercial and lost credibility when the screens were replaced by the two female “singers”. If this makes you believe my life is sad, so be it x
Un groupe incroyable, les britanniques sont vraiment indétrônable en matière de pop
Probably my favorite Human League song! It's got all the synth wave feels!
From Lebanon with love
hope you are safe there
Esta musica me transporta a la epoca que era feliz
The world was a happier place back then
A mi también!
Wonderful Song!
I think out of everyone I knew I was the only one who had Dare and would listen to it over and over
Got to see em live. Definitely on my bucket list.
This album was the soundtrack of my years in Zaragoza, 81-83.
The Lebanon es un auténtico TEMAZO.
When they wrote Dare they assumed this would be the first single - ended up as a B side! Some of their very best work.
Fantastic guys keep going.....................
Gracias por compartir! Les necesito en vivo en ARGENTINA 🤩
just ‘kin fantastic…I cry 😢for a second ❤
Still sounds fresh and brilliant
Cuantos recuerdos.... gracias
I love Suzanne and Joanne ❤
Pasarán los años gloriosos del new wave, pero estas voces principales de The Human League nunca pasarán de moda. ¡Eternos!
Tank you!❤
My favorite song of the Human League
Electronic drums, I love it!
His voice ❤❤
I was 12 and I had to have “don’t you want me”. That’s how I discovered this song and I enjoyed both sides equally.
Still got it! 🏆🏆🏆
This song is nice in the methadone heaven
Still (a)live ❤
brilliant as always!
Antiwar song written against Lebanon civil war emphatized by Israeli Invasion. 1984. Nothing changed in 40 years.
No
And now Lebanon prepares to defend herself once again. 😢
Wrong… it’s about JFK’s murder
praying for Lebanon
Meeeeeh very symphatic. But I listened to this song in 1981 and then it was about the assassin of JFK🤷
Bis heute eine supertolle Gruppe ,noch dazu, fast in Orihinalbesetzung wie 1982
Heart like to wheel 😂😂😂
Dos temazos!
🔥🔥🔥🔥💚
B sides are as good as the a
Love this synth band.
Phil oakey still has that deep sexually
Alluring voice
All eyes on Lebanon!
Grandissimi
Respect!
See you in November in Cologne.

Tune
Take that dirty mac off phil 😂
after the parade has.......gone...!
20 years later, "the Lebanon" lacks the power of it's 2003 pre-curser.
A song about having another dinner.

You wouldn't have liked being in The Somme then
Get over it. It's a shi##y horrible world sometimes.
great sound and vocals but why is he wearing this awful winter coat?
Cold? 😂
It does come up a bit short. I'm not sure how they fix it outside of adding guiters, etc., but they're not Toto so idk
Not their finest vocal moments !
"Shut up and entertain me"..
Probably my second favorite Human League song but it ruined their carreers like "The War Song" ruined Culture Club
I've always loved The Human League but my god they're so static on stage it's boring.

They just dont have enough musicians, no depth or base, frankly it sounds poor .
it all that energy Joanne is putting into it, like "I dont want to do this" id rather be home eating more sausages and mash !
@@skippybartalozzi😂
Poor sounds..very dull…I’m disappointed 🙈🤷♀️
Of course you guys don't get it, who cares if you don't, we sure don't 😉
Good god…there’s more action in a comic book…boring…boring ..boring…Phil walking around constantly is awful…the girls look totally uninterested…crap💩
Yawn ..... most over rated band ever ?
The original Human League were fantastic. This one is so poor. They lost it after Travelogue and Reproduction.
what can you do besides stupid comments, god?
It must be a sad life to only get joy from crapping on things.

@@M15GuysThe “they sold out became commercial “ is a weird overused pop statement
The Beatles were completely commercial
