I’ve been in bro-love with Phil for 40+ years. My god he sounds fantastic. For a former hospital orderly with no musical training, much less any singing experience he’s a damned genius. Still has that impossible range.
@williecunningham3725 I don't know LIME, but I'me going to look them up on the internet! But TELEX! Rock Around The Clock, and Moscow Disco! Are these bands still touring?

Thannks again for this wonderful surprise @Kompakt Mode 2.0. 🔥🔥🙏🔥🔥
@polewka123 glad you found it enjoyable mate! Manchester on your end then? Yes they were brilliant live. pleasure filming the opening night of the tour as well
I read recently that they refused to move to Jersey when advised to for tax purposes in the eighties because they would miss Sheffield and were happy to pay more towards public services. So refreshing even decades later, perhaps all the more so given how so many artists only think of themselves. They have been loyal to Sheffield and it is doubtless very proud of them.
That's really cool, I appreciate bands who stick to their hometowns even after sucess. Many bands tend to move to bigger cities once they've made a fortune. Depeche Mode among others.
OMG they are performing one of my favorite Human League songs "LIFE ON YOUR OWN" I used to wear that song out!!! I love so many songs by them!!!! Now I have to get my Human League songs back out!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
People please keep bringing us these posted memories! I just saw the JETS on here and I loved them, now I see Human League performing!!!! Loving It!!!!!!!!❤❤❤

I don't know how I ended up here... But something brought me here... I spent years and years with the chorus of the song "Heart like a wheel" playing in my mind... Until then I didn't know the name of the song or who sang it. The first few notes I played caused an explosion of emotions... Thank you, my friend!

They look fantastic, Joanne and Susan pop glamour and Phil in his high heel platforms hearkens back to the early days of 1980... Excellent performers of Top notch music... Long Live the League!
Soundtrack To a Generation sounds bloody amazing never heard that one from Human League but it brings backs so many memories of the 1980's So glad to have been part of that generation. gotta find what their tour dates for 2025 in the UK. Feels like some kinda time dimension watching perform after 40yrs plus because they still look incredible on stage. Must be tough for them having to keep performing at this level in their late 50's unless my maths is wrong and they are in their early 60's. Someone needs to record this in binaural 3d audio to get full immersive audio via headphones. If Phil had a hair transplant he would look no different now than he was 40yrs ago...
I was luck enough to see them way back in the early 80s when they had just got going,,,,always been a huge fan,.,yesterday I was at the gig in Glasgow ,,strange my son wanted a ticket as he was a big 80s fan ,.,it was his 30 th birthday weekend as well,.,.so proud that we did this together
I remember watching them on Top Of The Pops with Don't You Want Me in 1981 (I was 17 at the time). I'm now 60 and I still love their music, some of it takes me back 40 plus years😄
Wow, that last track just slayed me. That was my favorite club’s HL track played every Saturday night, and we’d all dance out butts off to it. How I miss those times.
My thought exactly. They were definitely having fun with the show. Lots of small interactions here and there with Phil showing his care for the band. Really nice!
Thanks so much for posting this. I'm an 80s kid, not actually a big fan, but do appreciate them and am so grateful they're still active. I'd go to them if they came to my area, and in fact will see if they have a list i can sign up on. Cheers.
they are always splendid today more than ever, and as always the emotions their style, does not change, they always manage to involve as then, fantastic!!
They look absolutely fantastic for the passed 40 years going strong! I would love to see the human league live it would be amazing experience especially synth wave I love it!

Glad to hear you enjoyed the film and it brought back good memories from the Bournemouth show. Having grown up in troubled youth myself it's nice to see old groups like this are still going strong and bringing us something special to remember from the time before. Their music is so timeless.

Sometimes I feel alien in this current stupid world. Hearing Human League gives me a much needed break from that. ❤
No exactly how you feel. Thank God for them & all the retro artists keeping proper music alive. Truly Special Times.
This is another band that should have retired years ago😂

THE BEST DECADE EVER THE 80'Z
Yep, agreed, and that’s where they belong. This wasn’t even funny, just sad.
Saw these twice in the 80's , MK1 and MK2 - I was very lucky - then Met them in Norwich (Human tour ) - nicest people you could meet !!
Not really, had a load of cheesy SAW garbage too.

Great to see them live here in 2024. Much appreciated.
My Gosh!! They aged so welllllll!!! Thanks for sharing! It's amazing to see them performing like this!!
He's 69 (good move to shave his head if he's losing hair) and the "girls" are 61 and 62. The blonde looks amazing!
I wish they played more UK venues.
Agreed they look and sound great❤️👌

@@RezPlankthe stuff they recorded with Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis was legendary…, totally underrated!!!

@simonedwards2703 Lol, agreed. Well said.
