You’ll notice one of the players has what looks like a claw framing their face on the HUD, that player is the “obsession”, Killer gets more XP for making sure they die. Sacrificing players in the Basement area also gives the Killer more XP. There are X amount of Generators, and the players usually have to get 5 up and running to power the 2 exits. Killer can sabotage progress on the generators. The exits are opened by a switch that has to be held for a period before it actually opens the doors. If you get hooked you have a full timer to get off or be saved, trying to get yourself off will likely not work …but there is a chance it will. If you get off hook before the timer hits half way the next time you are put on the hook the timer will start at the half way point, if not then second hook you will automatically die, third always means automatic death, and the Entity collects you. There is also a hatch that appears in the level, when there is only one player alive this opens regardless of what state the generators are in and it leads to escape. Levels are procedurally created, so they are never the same. Players will make lots of XP for getting away from a chase, working on generators, freeing others from hooks and healing them also. There are pallets that can be dropped to hinder the Killer. Escaping is the best feeling in the world, especially if you can antagonise the Killer for ages before you do so. If you all escape it’s an embarrassing day out for the killer. There is also a kind of decorum in this game, it’s frowned on if the Killer hooks you and camps you. It’s not really in his interests because it takes a long time and it’s not likely he’ll kill everyone if he behaves like this, also he’s making the game really boring for the players and himself. The other escapees can also be really useless sometimes and act incredibly selfishly. You can get really naused off playing this sometimes, it’s all about the players. The players cannot communicate verbally, their are no coms, save for some gestures that few people seem to use. If the players are in together they could be on a party chat, that’s bad because they are more organised than they should be, and it takes the shine off the game for everyone. It’s a very very good game, and it has a good team of dev’s with lots of content added fairly regularly. …that’s most of it, there’s more detail in the game, but this is the meat and gravy 👍🏻
I once met a player like that ada with 2k+ hours and a long paragraph on their profile about how people need to stop telling them how to play the game because they play it how they want 🤣
@@moodycxntIsn't the point of any game to win? Besides it's not fun for anyone to get matched with someone who refuses to work as a team, especially in a game where teamwork is required to win. @@moodycxnt By the means made available and encouraged by the game of course. The Killer is meant to be brutal so the Survivors are required to work together if they all want to survive, and someone who only cares about their own skin and takes a long time to do anything is a liability and more likely to ruin the fun for others. So in truth, it's a reverse of what you said in your first comment.
Funny that there's an image of Slipknot as serious music. When I was a lame teen in the 90s I liked a couple of their charting songs, and people couldn't tell me enough how much they weren't real rock and they were lame or light or any amount of shit. I think people just like to talk shit, honestly. Doesn't really matter what it's about. "I'm cool because the things I like are objectively better than the things you like." Alright then.
Had a similar game to this against the Artist. Between getting hooked, jumping on a gen and running to the hook for saves I was like a blue arse fly. Our teammate just sat on gens while us 3 were injured and going for saves. The other two teammates died and I ended up on 2nd hook. I was surprised when the survivor who hadn't made a save or taken a hook actually came and saved me and then I realised the killer was gone from the hook for a while. Anyway they downed the survivor and chased me. I thought oh God here we go getting tunnelled now but the killer prompted me back to the other surv to heal them. And allowed me to bank bloodpoints unhooking them while they kept going down. After death hook the killer gave me hatch. 😂 I think the killer recognised although I was injured most of the game I still did gens and went in for saves while the healthy teammate didn't offer to swap roles and take a hook. It's amazing how just one teammate like this can fuck it up for everyone else.
so glad this one was put up, watched it on the stream and it was funny to see how life affirming Limmy found it
Love the full game uploads, please do more :)
One of these days, I'm going to look how you play this game...at the moment, I'm just trying reverse engineer the rules from these clips. 😂
Been doing that for months, big gamer, still mostly fuckin clueless. Just being stubborn at this point and no looking it up.
if you start playing it you'll get hooked

Same as the comment above, I’m learning this game in the slowest way possible. Love it though.
That was worth hanging around until the end for 😊

Jamzeegamer's whole plot from the start is to let all the team die so they could get hatch. That's the worse person to play with. Justice served.
