Ludwig’s design just works. Between the “move to the music” parts strung throughout the game and the “composing koopa symphonies” nod to Super Mario World, it just makes too much sense to not include. He could’ve been the penultimate boss of the last 4 stages before facing Bowser. Could’ve also added a Mario World Easter egg of him playing the Mario World motif if you go through the levels as Yoshi. One of those “What could have been” moments sadly…
I think the fight would kinda be one of those boss fights were you have to hit for the music to progress, I think the music would kinda be like an opera, except it’s alot more chaotic and the start would be a calm piano play before the real fight starts
Maybe he could take Jr’s cloning gimmick for his fight. In addition to that, the movement speed of Larry and his clones’ jump could change for different phases; for example, after the second hit, Larry could move slower, but his jumping could be high. And after the third hit, his movement speed could change to be faster and more sporadic, but wouldn’t jump as high.
@@justinukah7441 I was thinking a similar thing but without the clones where he'll jump in a Zig Zag fashion in his Wonder state but then he'll try to headbutt you in which you jump over, making him hit the ground and become dizzy for a while. the final phase involves him jumping off of the corners of the stage.

Maybe have him introduce the boss’s mechanics before you move on and take them on in full.
One way I see the Koopalings based on some things I've seen: Larry: lacks physical talent, thus specializing more so with Stealth tactics. Wendy: mix of fashion and... constraint, via the rings and distance accessory based assaults. Lemmy: Whereas Larry avoids the spotlight, Lemmy thrives in it, going for utter chaos with his creations, chaos and fun. Roy: Destruction at a distance, as an artillery expert. Morton: Destruction through melee and force, though the force can have various effects(flames, shockwaves, etc). Iggy: Mad scientist like constructs and pets, so specializing in creation in a mad way. Ludwing: Magic and music. Bowser Jr.: artifacts and tech. In a way, you could pair them up as opposites in a way: Larry/Lemmy, Wendy/Morton, Roy/Iggy, Ludwing/Jr. What do you think? With that.... since there's six royal seeds, what if this was done? First fight was Boom Boom/Pom Pom, the koopalings in opposing pairs thereafter, with the sixth fight instead being Wonder Kamek, which could specialize in a combination of his own assaults, and creating wonder upgraded gauntlets of known minions. ....Oh! Even better. Having him make levels where he brings in certain other bosses to wonderfy, but they'd be beat instantly if you escape enough of their assault to hit a fighting back Wonder Kamek, whom is maintaining their Wonder State? Like, King Bob-Omb, King Boo(actual, not the fake one often seen), Blue-Shell Koopa(from the movie), Goomboss, maybe lesser wonder mini-challenges against individuals like the Private Goomp trio, or the group of Captain Goomba and his friends, as miniature wonder levels to go through as they do their own thing to the environment of the level.
Tbh Ludwig would probably ace Rush E, Ludwig van Beethoven literally composed the last part of a piece extra hard just so the person he made it for can’t play it.
I think it would be an interesting gimmick if Roy was the actual arena for his boss fight. While you cant hurt each other, he will thow Morton around like a wrecking ball and attempt to crush you
For some reason I have this incredibly vivid image of Larry being the second to last boss before Bowser, tired of being the most neglected child. So he goes full Super Saiyan on Mario, shooting lasers from his hands and instant transmissioning everywhere. I have never watched Dragon Ball by the way. Also nice job on the longer video, you actually know how to edit well and speak clearly. *comically large tear falls from my face*
I think he does that in Mario World. Just... without the lasers. It’d be cool if he was one of the harder ones though, since in most games he doesn’t have a special gimmick and just uses the arena to trip you up, and there’s a LOT of arena gimmicks in Mario Wonder
Wasn't expecting this to be a video, but it was fun keeping tabs on these great redesigns via the Community Tab! Weird how I kind of miss the Koopalings after seeing Wonder's lame Jr fights.
The Koopalings are probably the most underrated bosses in the franchise. I get it, they’re overused, but their designs are very nice and they have very cool techniques for every boss. Also imagine how badass they would’ve been in this game
@TntbirdWorld in dr Mario world there are so many Mario characters so it don't count and Bowser Jr's journey,, it wouldn't make sense to have a story with Jr without the koopalings
With iggy, I see his neck growing like a snake curving in the air trying to hit you and when his neck goes too long he stops and you can pull his hair (like the mummie enemies) and his neck would spring back, the wonder effect ends and he would fall over, allowing you to hit him. When he gets back up the wonder effect happens again.
2 things, firstly: Cool video with great ideas, thanks for making it. Secondly: Seeing as how each of the Koopaling wonder forms are based on the color scheme of the royal seed from the world they come from, maybe it could be that they are getting these wonder forms by using the royal seeds themselves? The prince does point out the idea that they can be mis-used, so maybe this could be an example of it? Just a thought.
Overall I think these some pretty cool ideas! I really enjoy how the colors and boss fight ideas make them stand out a whole lot more than just, Koopaling #1, Koopaling #2, ect. But now with Bowser jr gone, I WONDER where he would go. Probably assisting his dad in the final battle or something.
Perhaps that scene at the beginning of Bowser’s Rage Stage is changed so Jr. doesn’t get knocked out, and he shows up throughout the level to attack you, but before you reach the end he’s run over by the Bulrush stampede or something so he’s not there for the final battle

I was actually thinking of custom bosses based around the deadly sins. The story is that bowser steals the master wonder flower but as a result, 7 demonic entities spawn from the flower and possess bowser, causing you to have to fight all of them before defeating bowser. Each boss has their own moves and quirks and sometimes they will appear in wonder flower effects to sabotage you like taking away your jump or turning huge and eating the stage. At the end of each palace and airship, you will fight one of these custom bosses. Defeating them will grant you a grand wonder seed which can be used to exorcise bowser. Once all 7fiends have been defeated, bowser will show his face and you fight him

The one fight that should have been in the game, aside from the Koopalings, was Petey Pirahna. Bowser literally uses Pirahna Plants to seal off levels, why couldn’t they add Petey in as a boss, remixed by Wonder
i love all of the koopaling designs, i find it funny that since the ball mouth of lemmy is behind them, i think you know what that means (not fish), they take the term 'eat ass' and UNO REVERSE it as for ludwig, that singing hair mouth thing is just a flex, but enjoy trying to breath when it's shut!
These are some pretty dope ideas, especially Lemmy’s fight and I really like that their colors also reflect the Wonder seeds. Only thing is I’d move one of the Koopalings to a level in Castle Bowser instead of Roy and Morton sharing a boss fight. Overall really cool concepts tho and I hope you upload that second part.
These designs are so freaking cool my only complain for this video is that the mic quality really bugs me, there's better ways to do noise reduction, or hopefully you can get a better mic

1. Bruh Lemmy Ball fusion has to be the most creative idea I've ever heard and seen in my entire life 2. For Wendy I'll say that the fight will be based on the platform like you know, from that one Raven Boss Fight from Yoshis Island. You'll like fight her on like this Giant Snowball and the snow ball will turn to ice ball and later she use another special trick. Also am talking about Wendy being in Fluff-Puff Peaks 3. Yes there are 7 worlds also knowing that world 7 is literally the pedal isle...aka the Final World...or the main world. I say since we have 7 koopalings, there would be that last Koopaling (Probably Ludwig) blocking the entrance to Castle Bowser so I say like a blockade or one more Bowser Airship, this time the boss will be...A Koopalings Bonus: I still love that Lemmy Ball Fusion Idea it's so Creative and Clever
I love to see the Koopalings’ potential for Wonder being noticed! With their varying personalities and style combined with the wonder effect, they really could’ve thrived in this game.
While I would’ve love to see unique bosses ala NSMB on the DS, I can’t deny these design are WONDERFUL! (pun intended) Here are my highlights: 1. The Koopalings’ wonder color schemes matching the Royal Seeds My favorite designs you made are Ludwig, Lemmy, and Iggy. The music composer motif fits great for Ludwig and the games musical levels. Lemmy being part circus ball(with it having a mouth like Jr’s mask), was good touch. For his fight I can see doing all sorts of acrobatics you would see in a circus. As for Iggy, him having is lankiness crank up to 11 was neat, and I can see the shadow backdrop being implemented for his fight. 2. The two in one fight with Morton and Roy in Sun Baked Desert is unique gimmick. You don’t see that implemented much Mario in games With that said I’d like to see your design for Kamek’s wonder form!(which should take place on the airships, along with Jr’s fights from world 2 and 6. Plus maybe some new spins).
It would be really cool if ludwig's fight was spread out during the whole castle level Like the music themes levels it would make the player run trough it while the platforms disappear with the beat and ludwig plays his piano in the backround. Then every now and then, the player will enter a small arena area where the koopaling leaves his seat to attack him directly. Upon hitting him, ludwig would simply return to his piano and let the level continue La dee da 4 hits and then he's dead you know the drill

Ok, I just ADORED this video! Everything laid out was BRILLIANT! I actually kinda connect with this video; I've been feeling the exact same way about the Koopalings not being in Mario Wonder, and the way Mr. TheWorGuy uniquely design each Koopaling for each wonder was "JUST-A WONDERFUL!!!" Buuuut, it's not 100% what I've been having in mind for a while now. Ever since I beat the game, I've been pondering over and over about the Koopalings perfectly fitting into their designated worlds, and here's what I have in mind: I actually think Lemmy should be the first one; he fits into Pipe-Rock Plateau perfectly! He is a circus lover, proof is in a certain NSMB title and spin-offs, and circuses almost always have animals. So I think his boss fight should be circus-themed, along with some Bulrushes and Hoppos. Here is a complicated part: I am still completely unsure about Wendy and Roy's placements. The numbers I have in mind are 2nd and 7th, and the worlds are Fluff-Puff Peaks and the Petal Isles. Both ideal boss fights are like Bowser's: musical performances. If Wendy was placed 2nd, she'd have a Swiss Alps-style play with yodeling involved. If she was placed 7th, she'd have a 1930s style beach broadway play, with hula dancing involved. If Roy was placed 2nd, he'd have an Irish or Scottish rock/heavy metal performance. If he was placed 7th, he'd have a beach rap and break dance performance involving beach babes. I also think Castle Bowser should've been a separate world instead of the final sector for the Petal Isles, it would make total sense for the 7th Koopaling placement. You should also get the last Royal Seed from the last Koopaling instead of Bowser. I think Larry should be third and placed in Shining Falls. Here's why: I've been pondering about the world itself and it's AMAZING design, and Bowser Jr's fight in Fluff-Puff Peaks, so why not combine those two things together for Larry's boss fight?! He should have a karate/kung fu style fight with moving pillars!! This could also give Larry a chance to redeem himself from being the most basic and boring of the Koopalings! Morton's placement in Sunbaked Desert is PERFECT! It's exactly what I had in mind, too! Not 100%, though. He's still perfect for World 4-- just without Roy. The way I'd like Morton's placement to turn out is for him to take on the role of the desert's evil and gluttonous Pharaoh. His fight should be in an Egyptian style with him performing Pharaoh-style moves and attacks. I also think the southeast sector of the Petal Isles should've been part of Sunbaked Desert, I just think it fits that world better. There should be another desert trick where you step on invisible ? platforms and enter the mirage area. That's where you find the levels that involve sweets and enemies that eat. Morton should do that kind of stuff in his fight, turning into a giant Maw-Maw and Gnawsher and devouring everything in sight. Finally, Iggy and Ludwig's placements: they are also PERFECT! Iggy being placed in Fungi Mines and Ludwig being placed in Deep Magma Bog were-- EXACTLY-- 100% what I had in mind!! I also loved how their ideal boss fights were discussed! I totally agree with Mr. TheWorGuy on them!
Man out of all the games they had to not bring the koopalings back, they had to choose wonder. This would’ve been the one game that people like them in. 😢
Cool idea for Lemmy's boss fight is they can't be bounced on while they're doing their handstand, you'd either get damaged by the mouth on the ball or bounced away by any other part
Having them in the game would've been awesome! Fighting Junior before Bowser would make more sense. And fighting the koopalings as the main bosses of the castles would've been much better than fighting Junior over and over again.
I love your designs so much! I think it's a shame we only got Bowser Jr fights in this game, because the Wonder transformations had so much potential for cool boss fights. :c
Concepts on how each boss would work: Larry: Larry’s fight will function somewhat the same as the first Bowser Jr. fight. Changing his and the players size. He starts off by growing himself and shrinking the player and tries to damage the player by jumping on them. In the second phase he swaps his and the players size and rapidly shoots projectiles at the player. In the third, he will constantly switch his and the player’s size and how he tries to damage the player. Wendy: The ground will turn into donut blocks. Wendy’s rings will bounce around as normal but if the player touches a ring, it will use its teeth to throw the player against the wall, damaging them. The player has to mash the jump button to get up before the donut block falls. In the second phase, Wendy begins to shoot two rings at once and in the third, the rings bounce towards the player. Lemmy: Lemmy will bounce up high and try to ground-pound onto the player, like a Thwomp, to try to bounce the player into one of the pits on either side of the arena. If he lands on the player, the player will be bounced away from Larry. If Larry misses but the player is on the ground, the player will get stun-locked for one second. In the second phase, Larry will begin to shoot his signature bouncy balls and in the third, the player will take damage instead of being stunned. Roy: Instead of Roy and Morton fighting together, Morton will now serve as a mid boss later on. Roy has a plate with spikes that he wears on his head. Roy will merge into the sand, taking the plate with him, he will move towards the player and jump up with the plate so the player can’t stomp on him. When we jumps up, he will then merge into the ceiling and drop down onto the player. The player has to jump into Roy in the middle of the drop to damage him, otherwise, the player will get stomped instead. In the second phase, the ceiling will lower allowing Roy to attack faster, and in the third, Roy will use wonder to create and sandstorm to blow the player in a certain direction, just like in SMM2. Iggy: There are special pipes all over the arena that only Iggy can use. Iggy will use the wonder effect to stretch into a pipe and out of a random one and keeps going until he can’t and damages the player on contact. Once he is stretched out all the way, he will shoot projectiles in all 8 directions, wait one second, and go back in to stretch out of another set of random pipes. While Iggy is waiting, the player can stomp on his head. In the second phase, Iggy will grow longer and in the third, the pipes will begin to move and only stop when Iggy is coming out of them. Ludwig: Ludwig will sit and play a piano in the background. As he presses the keys, projectiles will rain down in specified spots. Eventually Ludwig will press multiple keys at once raining down a big, but vulnerable projectile, if the player jumps into this projectile, it will be sent flying back to Ludwig. Every once in a while, Ludwig will perform a special move, indicated by the aura emitted by a wonder flower, making the player have to jump to avoid taking damage. In the second phase, Ludwig will play the piano faster and in the third, the projectiles will come in sideways instead and platforms will appear for the player to use. Morton: Morton will now serve as a mid-boss in the penultimate story level, Knucklefest. Morton will use the weights on his limbs to punch/tackle the player. Every now and then, Morton will do a stronger punch but has recover. When Morton is recovering from attacking, the player has to use a carry-able item called a knuckle block to strike Morton in the back, otherwise Morton will block the attack. In the second phase, Morton will attack faster, and in the third, Morton will begin to jump around and throw the player.
Also before anyone yells at me about Roy being supposed to be underwater, I decided to change this because these are my original ideas on how they would work
Can't wait for Odyssey 2/the next 3D Mario game to not feature the Koopalings as boss fights. I hope I jinxed that since Wonder is seen as a "step in the right direction," for more creative stuff with Mario. Great work!

Honestly the Koopaling hate is really dumb, because if Bowser is the main villain and they get creative, the Koopalings are fine, yet people hate them despite the fact that they don’t take over that man games

Honestly I would love to have seen a Ludwig boss fight that is based on a music level like "Piranha Plants on Parade". Imagine if he sits in an area playing the piano while waves of singing enemies come out that you need to dodge and maneuver around, with you getting a chance to get a hit on him every little bit, making him speed up the song until you ultimately defeat him.
Lemmy: Uses the Hoppo Wonder Effect and also uses that one Space Wonder Effect for more Hoppos because they're bouncy Larry: Can turn Mario into a puffy lift and Larry hurls spike balls at puffy lift so it can bounce back like tennis Wendy: Can summon giant ring projectiles and also platforms can move and become ice and goo just like World 2 Jr. Fight Iggy: Uses the Giant Chomping Fish Wonder Event and Iggy stays at the top of the pool while the fish tries to eat Mario Roy: Uses a lot of Bullet Bill variants while Mario and Roy are on the Missile Meg Wonder Effect Morton: Uses the size changing effect as Morton tries to crush Mario and also turns Mario into a Goomba Ludwig: Uses the silhouette and cloning effect and Ludwig can also stretch to become tall, making unique attack patterns Bowser Jr and Kamek: Teams up so they can hold off Mario before he can confront Bowser and every time Bowser Jr. gets hit, Kamek will use his magic to summon a different Wonder Effect. After they are defeated, Bowser Jr. would start the same Wonder Effect that originally started Bowser's Rage Stage
Yeah, the Koopalings should’ve been in the game. Their Wonder forms could’ve been quite creative and you, sir, have come up quite unique concepts for them. I like all of them though I would have different ideas for Roy and Morton. I would imagine a Wonderous Morton to be a giant wrecking ball that wrecks throughout the area and his boss battle is but a chase level. Wonder Roy would be a big muscleman who destroys the stage bit by bit and you have to defeat him quickly.
As sick of some of us are of these guys, they would've been better than JUST Bowser jr. Also this is just a suggestion, but you totally should have had Lemmy and Iggy be the duo boss, since they're canonically twins.
They're only canonically twins in the TV show, where they're also canonically the youngest. Since one of the only canonical things in the games about the age order is LARRY being the youngest, I think we can dismiss the twin thing as also not being canon.
The duo boss idea reminds me of the fights in Mario and Luigi Paper Jam. They bounce off of each other really well and use team attacks to attack you, creating an admittedly challenging time if you can’t dodge the attacks well.
When Wonder came out I Literally asked myself, “Man the Koopaliggs should’ve been added to this game.” Though I wish the game went the New Super Mario Bros DS route and give us original bosses or revamps of bosses from that game.
Honestly, this would be a game where the kooplings would REALLY fit in! Give them each a different wonder effect! If there still has to be four palaces, have them host two kooplings each, then save Ludwig sometime before Bowser! Then have Bowser Jr for the airship levels!
I had a similar idea to this. Larry being first because he’s the basic boss Wendy & Ludwig are next because of Fluff Puff Peaks ice and cloud theme (Wendy being Ice and Ludwig being Cloud obviously) Lemmy being third because of Shining Falls theme with the obstacles Roy & Morton is very similar to your idea Iggy would fit being a poison boy due to Fungi Mines theme And Bowser Jr. would of course be in the Deep Magma Bog Kamel would be the Mini boss of each world cause this game doesn’t have any for some reason and depending on the world will depend on what he summons to fight us whether it’s the airship, the tank from smb3, maybe even a submarine for Petal Falls I’ll update if I have more ideas

For some reason I have this incredibly vivid image of Larry being the second to last boss before Bowser, tired of being the most neglected child. So he goes full Super Saiyan on Mario, shooting lasers from his hands and instant transmissioning everywhere.

I think he does that in Mario World. Just... without the lasers. It’d be cool if he was one of the harder ones though, since in most games he doesn’t have a special gimmick and just uses the arena to trip you up, and there’s a LOT of arena gimmicks in Mario Wonder

The Koopalings are probably the most underrated bosses in the franchise. I get it, they’re overused, but their designs are very nice and they have very cool techniques for every boss. Also imagine how badass they would’ve been in this game

With iggy, I see his neck growing like a snake curving in the air trying to hit you and when his neck goes too long he stops and you can pull his hair (like the mummie enemies) and his neck would spring back, the wonder effect ends and he would fall over, allowing you to hit him. When he gets back up the wonder effect happens again.

2 things, firstly: Cool video with great ideas, thanks for making it.
Secondly: Seeing as how each of the Koopaling wonder forms are based on the color scheme of the royal seed from the world they come from, maybe it could be that they are getting these wonder forms by using the royal seeds themselves? The prince does point out the idea that they can be mis-used, so maybe this could be an example of it? Just a thought.
Overall I think these some pretty cool ideas! I really enjoy how the colors and boss fight ideas make them stand out a whole lot more than just, Koopaling #1, Koopaling #2, ect.
But now with Bowser jr gone, I WONDER where he would go. Probably assisting his dad in the final battle or something.
Perhaps that scene at the beginning of Bowser’s Rage Stage is changed so Jr. doesn’t get knocked out, and he shows up throughout the level to attack you, but before you reach the end he’s run over by the Bulrush stampede or something so he’s not there for the final battle

I was actually thinking of custom bosses based around the deadly sins. The story is that bowser steals the master wonder flower but as a result, 7 demonic entities spawn from the flower and possess bowser, causing you to have to fight all of them before defeating bowser. Each boss has their own moves and quirks and sometimes they will appear in wonder flower effects to sabotage you like taking away your jump or turning huge and eating the stage. At the end of each palace and airship, you will fight one of these custom bosses. Defeating them will grant you a grand wonder seed which can be used to exorcise bowser. Once all 7fiends have been defeated, bowser will show his face and you fight him
And then waluigi starts walking on water and turning water to wine and suddenly the bible is created

Only thing is I’d move one of the Koopalings to a level in Castle Bowser instead of Roy and Morton sharing a boss fight. Overall really cool concepts tho and I hope you upload that second part.

2. For Wendy I'll say that the fight will be based on the platform like you know, from that one Raven Boss Fight from Yoshis Island. You'll like fight her on like this Giant Snowball and the snow ball will turn to ice ball and later she use another special trick. Also am talking about Wendy being in Fluff-Puff Peaks
3. Yes there are 7 worlds also knowing that world 7 is literally the pedal isle...aka the Final World...or the main world. I say since we have 7 koopalings, there would be that last Koopaling (Probably Ludwig) blocking the entrance to Castle Bowser so I say like a blockade or one more Bowser Airship, this time the boss will be...A Koopalings

While I would’ve love to see unique bosses ala NSMB on the DS, I can’t deny these design are WONDERFUL! (pun intended) Here are my highlights:
1. The Koopalings’ wonder color schemes matching the Royal Seeds My favorite designs you made are Ludwig, Lemmy, and Iggy. The music composer motif fits great for Ludwig and the games musical levels. Lemmy being part circus ball(with it having a mouth like Jr’s mask), was good touch. For his fight I can see doing all sorts of acrobatics you would see in a circus. As for Iggy, him having is lankiness crank up to 11 was neat, and I can see the shadow backdrop being implemented for his fight.
2. The two in one fight with Morton and Roy in Sun Baked Desert is unique gimmick. You don’t see that implemented much Mario in games
With that said I’d like to see your design for Kamek’s wonder form!(which should take place on the airships, along with Jr’s fights from world 2 and 6. Plus maybe some new spins).

Like the music themes levels it would make the player run trough it while the platforms disappear with the beat and ludwig plays his piano in the backround. Then every now and then, the player will enter a small arena area where the koopaling leaves his seat to attack him directly. Upon hitting him, ludwig would simply return to his piano and let the level continue

Ok, I just ADORED this video! Everything laid out was BRILLIANT! I actually kinda connect with this video; I've been feeling the exact same way about the Koopalings not being in Mario Wonder, and the way Mr. TheWorGuy uniquely design each Koopaling for each wonder was "JUST-A WONDERFUL!!!" Buuuut, it's not 100% what I've been having in mind for a while now. Ever since I beat the game, I've been pondering over and over about the Koopalings perfectly fitting into their designated worlds, and here's what I have in mind:
I actually think Lemmy should be the first one; he fits into Pipe-Rock Plateau perfectly! He is a circus lover, proof is in a certain NSMB title and spin-offs, and circuses almost always have animals. So I think his boss fight should be circus-themed, along with some Bulrushes and Hoppos.
Here is a complicated part: I am still completely unsure about Wendy and Roy's placements. The numbers I have in mind are 2nd and 7th, and the worlds are Fluff-Puff Peaks and the Petal Isles. Both ideal boss fights are like Bowser's: musical performances. If Wendy was placed 2nd, she'd have a Swiss Alps-style play with yodeling involved. If she was placed 7th, she'd have a 1930s style beach broadway play, with hula dancing involved. If Roy was placed 2nd, he'd have an Irish or Scottish rock/heavy metal performance. If he was placed 7th, he'd have a beach rap and break dance performance involving beach babes. I also think Castle Bowser should've been a separate world instead of the final sector for the Petal Isles, it would make total sense for the 7th Koopaling placement. You should also get the last Royal Seed from the last Koopaling instead of Bowser.
I think Larry should be third and placed in Shining Falls. Here's why: I've been pondering about the world itself and it's AMAZING design, and Bowser Jr's fight in Fluff-Puff Peaks, so why not combine those two things together for Larry's boss fight?! He should have a karate/kung fu style fight with moving pillars!! This could also give Larry a chance to redeem himself from being the most basic and boring of the Koopalings!
Morton's placement in Sunbaked Desert is PERFECT! It's exactly what I had in mind, too! Not 100%, though. He's still perfect for World 4-- just without Roy. The way I'd like Morton's placement to turn out is for him to take on the role of the desert's evil and gluttonous Pharaoh. His fight should be in an Egyptian style with him performing Pharaoh-style moves and attacks. I also think the southeast sector of the Petal Isles should've been part of Sunbaked Desert, I just think it fits that world better. There should be another desert trick where you step on invisible ? platforms and enter the mirage area. That's where you find the levels that involve sweets and enemies that eat. Morton should do that kind of stuff in his fight, turning into a giant Maw-Maw and Gnawsher and devouring everything in sight.
Finally, Iggy and Ludwig's placements: they are also PERFECT! Iggy being placed in Fungi Mines and Ludwig being placed in Deep Magma Bog were-- EXACTLY-- 100% what I had in mind!! I also loved how their ideal boss fights were discussed! I totally agree with Mr. TheWorGuy on them!

Cool idea for Lemmy's boss fight is they can't be bounced on while they're doing their handstand, you'd either get damaged by the mouth on the ball or bounced away by any other part

Concepts on how each boss would work:
Larry: Larry’s fight will function somewhat the same as the first Bowser Jr. fight. Changing his and the players size. He starts off by growing himself and shrinking the player and tries to damage the player by jumping on them. In the second phase he swaps his and the players size and rapidly shoots projectiles at the player. In the third, he will constantly switch his and the player’s size and how he tries to damage the player.
Wendy: The ground will turn into donut blocks. Wendy’s rings will bounce around as normal but if the player touches a ring, it will use its teeth to throw the player against the wall, damaging them. The player has to mash the jump button to get up before the donut block falls. In the second phase, Wendy begins to shoot two rings at once and in the third, the rings bounce towards the player.
Lemmy: Lemmy will bounce up high and try to ground-pound onto the player, like a Thwomp, to try to bounce the player into one of the pits on either side of the arena. If he lands on the player, the player will be bounced away from Larry. If Larry misses but the player is on the ground, the player will get stun-locked for one second. In the second phase, Larry will begin to shoot his signature bouncy balls and in the third, the player will take damage instead of being stunned.
Roy: Instead of Roy and Morton fighting together, Morton will now serve as a mid boss later on. Roy has a plate with spikes that he wears on his head. Roy will merge into the sand, taking the plate with him, he will move towards the player and jump up with the plate so the player can’t stomp on him. When we jumps up, he will then merge into the ceiling and drop down onto the player. The player has to jump into Roy in the middle of the drop to damage him, otherwise, the player will get stomped instead. In the second phase, the ceiling will lower allowing Roy to attack faster, and in the third, Roy will use wonder to create and sandstorm to blow the player in a certain direction, just like in SMM2.
Iggy: There are special pipes all over the arena that only Iggy can use. Iggy will use the wonder effect to stretch into a pipe and out of a random one and keeps going until he can’t and damages the player on contact. Once he is stretched out all the way, he will shoot projectiles in all 8 directions, wait one second, and go back in to stretch out of another set of random pipes. While Iggy is waiting, the player can stomp on his head. In the second phase, Iggy will grow longer and in the third, the pipes will begin to move and only stop when Iggy is coming out of them.
Ludwig: Ludwig will sit and play a piano in the background. As he presses the keys, projectiles will rain down in specified spots. Eventually Ludwig will press multiple keys at once raining down a big, but vulnerable projectile, if the player jumps into this projectile, it will be sent flying back to Ludwig. Every once in a while, Ludwig will perform a special move, indicated by the aura emitted by a wonder flower, making the player have to jump to avoid taking damage. In the second phase, Ludwig will play the piano faster and in the third, the projectiles will come in sideways instead and platforms will appear for the player to use.
Morton: Morton will now serve as a mid-boss in the penultimate story level, Knucklefest. Morton will use the weights on his limbs to punch/tackle the player. Every now and then, Morton will do a stronger punch but has recover. When Morton is recovering from attacking, the player has to use a carry-able item called a knuckle block to strike Morton in the back, otherwise Morton will block the attack. In the second phase, Morton will attack faster, and in the third, Morton will begin to jump around and throw the player.
Also before anyone yells at me about Roy being supposed to be underwater, I decided to change this because these are my original ideas on how they would work

These concepts are awesome, my favorites are morton and roy, i like the idea of roy dipping out to let morton do the work.
Honestly I would love to have seen a Ludwig boss fight that is based on a music level like "Piranha Plants on Parade". Imagine if he sits in an area playing the piano while waves of singing enemies come out that you need to dodge and maneuver around, with you getting a chance to get a hit on him every little bit, making him speed up the song until you ultimately defeat him.
Lemmy: Uses the Hoppo Wonder Effect and also uses that one Space Wonder Effect for more Hoppos because they're bouncy
Larry: Can turn Mario into a puffy lift and Larry hurls spike balls at puffy lift so it can bounce back like tennis
Wendy: Can summon giant ring projectiles and also platforms can move and become ice and goo just like World 2 Jr. Fight
Iggy: Uses the Giant Chomping Fish Wonder Event and Iggy stays at the top of the pool while the fish tries to eat Mario
Roy: Uses a lot of Bullet Bill variants while Mario and Roy are on the Missile Meg Wonder Effect
Morton: Uses the size changing effect as Morton tries to crush Mario and also turns Mario into a Goomba
Ludwig: Uses the silhouette and cloning effect and Ludwig can also stretch to become tall, making unique attack patterns
Bowser Jr and Kamek: Teams up so they can hold off Mario before he can confront Bowser and every time Bowser Jr. gets hit, Kamek will use his magic to summon a different Wonder Effect. After they are defeated, Bowser Jr. would start the same Wonder Effect that originally started Bowser's Rage Stage

Yeah, the Koopalings should’ve been in the game. Their Wonder forms could’ve been quite creative and you, sir, have come up quite unique concepts for them. I like all of them though I would have different ideas for Roy and Morton. I would imagine a Wonderous Morton to be a giant wrecking ball that wrecks throughout the area and his boss battle is but a chase level. Wonder Roy would be a big muscleman who destroys the stage bit by bit and you have to defeat him quickly.
Imagine Ludwig just busts out the piano and starts blasting Blue Destination
As sick of some of us are of these guys, they would've been better than JUST Bowser jr.
Also this is just a suggestion, but you totally should have had Lemmy and Iggy be the duo boss, since they're canonically twins.

They're only canonically twins in the TV show, where they're also canonically the youngest. Since one of the only canonical things in the games about the age order is LARRY being the youngest, I think we can dismiss the twin thing as also not being canon.

The duo boss idea reminds me of the fights in Mario and Luigi Paper Jam. They bounce off of each other really well and use team attacks to attack you, creating an admittedly challenging time if you can’t dodge the attacks well.

Honestly, this would be a game where the kooplings would REALLY fit in! Give them each a different wonder effect! If there still has to be four palaces, have them host two kooplings each, then save Ludwig sometime before Bowser! Then have Bowser Jr for the airship levels!
