Girl! I am sad for you. You built that greenhouse almost completely by yourself. I would be in mourning too. I know you are skilled and you will do something amazing with the new plant shed! Can't wait to see what you do with the new house!
OMG the gasp I gasped seeing de la baby walking around.... like excuse me, WHAT?!?! I swear it feels like just yesterday when she was born 🥹 So looking forward to all the planty and reno videos to come in the new space! :D
The first thing that actually came to my mind when you showed the shed was a cozy reading space plus a sewing workshop. If you asked me, I’d say: let the idea sit for a while. Deal with the grievance of leaving the greenhouse behind (which I completely understand and validate), and think what good memories this shed could host and be a part of, and make it a thing (whatever that might be). Sending you a big hug Al the way from COL 🇨🇴 is can’t wait to see what you guys do with this your new home🎉
1000% You have to make the shed a greenhouse! I've been so sad for you just getting it finished and having to leave it. I'm sorry if bringing it up is triggering but I truly am sad for you and you deserve to have one to fill that hole while you're away from yours 🥰 I agree with a comment below about putting your cabinet in the dining room to brighten it up! I'm looking forward to all of the new content to come with setting everything up and such!
Have you thought about staining the concrete? That way you could water without worrying about the flooring but it would still look a bit elevated. Good luck with the new space!
SO excited to see what you're going to do with this space! 100% agree with converting the shed into a greenhouse and if Daniel's on board, jump while you can! Congratulations 🎊 couldn't wait to watch this!
I love your sun room. It's going to be so nice when it's done. I'm sorry you had to leave your recently made greenhouse. You worked so hard on that house and I know you'll do the same with this house 😊 looking forward to the new content Becca
Welcome to Oklahoma! OKC has some really nice plant shops and nurseries! I know you're going to feel right at home soon! I love your idea of adding vintage windows to the shed! 👍
Love your new home! I would cry too leaving that greenhouse behind good thing is it's still yours. I'm 73 and have had many sad moments but have learned there's another adventure ahead. I can't believe your little one is walking. OMG she is so adorable. Please share a moment or to of her🥰 Looks like you have neighbours as the last place you were more isolated. You have a new canvas to create on. ❤
When you asked your puppies about how they felt about the new house they seemed so attentive and earnest to answer your question 😊 so cute! I hope you enjoy your new space ❤ you are allowed all of the good and hard emotions!
We lived in OKC for four years while my husband was in the Air Force. I loved OKC but it does get hot in the summer and freezing in the winter. Your house has so much potential and I love the area you have picked out for your new plant room. I know you miss your greenhouse after putting so much work in it but you have wonderful plans that you can work on making your new house a beautiful planty place. Congratulations.
I think it's normal to mourn the loss of a dream space I had something simular when I left my townhouse and broke down crying over leaving all of my plantings and trees behind that I put in. I love the arch doorway off the kitchen and the wood tone is lovely. Sunshine yellow will be so cheerful!!! OMG the shower window will be a dream space for any fern or calathia plotting you might have. I'm excited for you all on this new adventure! If possible hire in some painters to take some of the burden off your shoulders so the more detailed spaces where you wanna do the details yourself on you are less stressed. The outdoor brick is lovely! The kitchen is so open and dreamy once you put your spin on it.
I have always loved new beginnings. You're going to have so much fun getting the new place together. I'm so jealous. I can't wait to see everything you do. Thank you for sharing 😊
Thankyou for sharing. You will soon add your stamp to your new home and you are going to love the finished product. Enjoy the journey, lots of new memories as a family, God Bless.
It would be amazing to get a vintage window or even door situation! If the dimensions are unusual no prob since you can just cut it to fit. Love that greenhouse idea!
Use the power washer! When I remodeled my house, my stone fireplace had been painted white. My father used a power washer to get off all the paint while I made sure the water didn't escape too far into the house with the shop vac. We had to empty the shop vac many times but it was absolutely worth it. Also you can install a solar tube instead of a sky light. Its way less work and maintenance. Its the cheapest, easiest way to add light to a room!
First congrats on the new home. From what you've shared, very nice. I would take on one project at a time. With the baby, you don't want to take on more than you can handle. The get overwhelmed, depressed and defeated. The Porch space will be nice for your plants. I saw a ceiling fan, but no heat. Not sure how cold it gets in OK, but something to consider. Definitely add more windows to the shed (at some point).
I am so excited to watch this journey!!! You are going to thrive with the new projects and make so many new memories. Take time to process grieve and vent the loss of your amazing greenhouse as much as you need though we are a little bit sad still too.
I loveeeee these videos as inspiration! I know whenever I leave my current house it’s going to be so hard to leave behind all the projects I’ve accomplished- but I know the alternative is just not doing them at all which doesn’t make sense either. Everything is temporary so we need to enjoy it while we can :) sooo excited to see you transform this new space and I love the idea of pulleys!!
Yes I'm sad... but also very excited for you. We know how much you love projects and I'm sure its going to be so fun to put this house together and I can't wait to follow the journey!
Keep the concrete, it's a great surface for a plant sun room. Mine is and I never have to worry about floor damage with plant accidents, or dogs, or kids.
I wasn't able to watch the ladt Videos and didn't know that you move so I was so surprised. I'm sure that it's a tough time but I'm sure you will make this house your home too!
I think floating floorboards could look quite nice in that sunroom but the concrete would probably be easier to keep clean and you wouldn't have to worry about water damage. Greenhouse for the win!
I honestly vote clean and paint the concrete in the immediate time with a rug like you talked about and live with it a while. I wouldn't think peel and stick tiles will last well on concrete.
I’m so excited to see how your plans come to life! I haven’t bought a home yet but dream of decorating a home so kinda living vicariously through you for now! :)
I'm excited you're here! I'm also excited that maybe, just maybe you will work on having Delaplants soil available here. 😊 I want to share so much info with you of places you need to check out while you live in OK. Welcome!
Oh Becca your new house is going to be so beautiful, I really like that covered porch that looks like a sun room and I think painting the walls a brighter color will make it look so bright and pretty in there, and also fixing that sad looking floor with whatever you'd like to put down will also make it look so much better. I also really miss your beautiful greenhouse that you built. I think that shed made into more like a green house with lots of beautiful windows and that better door also will be so great. I am sure you will figure out the best locations for all of your cabinets that you put your plants on, I also love those shelves that are like bamboo they are so pretty. It's also so exciting how happy your dogs are and also your adorable little girl, she is so cute running around and singing with all of the music. Thanks so much for this great video and I will be excited to see your next one, Have a great rest of your day and the week coming up, sending love and hugs, bye!! 😂🥰💜💜💞💞💞💜💜
I moved from San Diego to Oklahoma about 10 years ago. Oklahoma has been good to me, and I think it’s a great place. My plants LOVE being outside in the summer. Welcome to Oklahoma!
I can't wait to see how everything comes together. I think you should make the shed a greenhouse by adding windows all around. You wouldn't regret it, but might regret not doing it.
I think you should use your shed as a craft/work space, and build another greenhouse. Order a simple hoop house structure so you don’t turn it into a never ending project like before. Those hoop greenhouses are super easy to assemble in just a couple days. The hardest part about them is pouring the concrete bases and getting the electric, water, heat, etc hooked up. The plastic for them is good for 5-10 years depending on your weather. And once you’ve put that plastic on once, it’s a piece of cake to do it again. Trust me, I’ve helped plastic 100ft long greenhouses in January in the Midwest. 😂
One way to fix the cement floor is sanding it right back and putting some sort of sealer on top,not sure how much a cement sander is! Painted the cement is another cheaper and easier to clean up alternative. Love the house and that shed is so quaint,it would look great as a greenhouse! 💚💚🪴🌿
Hi there! In a very similar situation, moved from Kentucky to Texas last month and have blank slate after blank slate and such decision and financial fatigue. It makes me feel better knowing that yeah, this moving thing is really hard. And it’s not just me. Following for inspo!
Simple green and a stiff bristle scrub brush should do for a quick cleaning on that floor. As for the shed do a lean to greenhouse off the back the entire length of the building!
On the pulley system for plants I imagine like a pot hanger with hanging plants from it that is on a pulley. I feel like if you did solid platforms it would close in the space too much.
Congrats on the homeownership of your new place! Congrats on the move too! From our view, that kitchen looks like it has great potential for updating! Good luck on trying to retain that '90s/'00s cabinets. If you can't work the color, you can sand them down and re-stain them to a different wood shade.🤷♀Cute screened-in porch. 💕 That wall looks like it has no insulation seeing how tight the gaps are from window frame to window frame to door. 😬 I would monitor the lows on that outdoor temperature gauge on your wall. Since it's a concrete patio, I don't know how peel-and-stick stands up against moisture when the concrete absorbs the moisture from the earth below during the wet seasons. And, I'm assuming your home inspector tested those outlets on that wall too? Don't forget to test to see which breaker they're using. If you wanna work on the floor, you should start and finish it BEFORE the wet season, depending on if that concrete floor does sweat. OR wait until the wet season is over.
I feel like I missed a chapter 😅 have you touched on why you’ve moved or is that something you’re not comfortable sharing?❤ Exiting to get to decorate from scratch though!
Why not a greenhouse extension on the shed? And make the shed to a pottingshed. In Sweden it would be cheaper than order odd glass measurments.( I have no idea of how permits works in US)
The current colour scheme is incredibly depressing. Once you work your magic, it'll be so much better! I live in a small and dark flat myself and even though I love colour, I have found white paint to be my best friend; It not only reflects light and visually enlarges a space, but it makes plants and colourful accessories pop! Oh sweetie, I can tell you are still mourning for your previous home. It'll all be fine, you are going to make that house into a paradise, you'll see! Isn’t it!? I’m really surprised it stayed this color for so long… yuck. White paint is the best! I believe we will be painting the house all white. It’s just such a nice base for decorating. Thank you for the encouragement, I’m definitely still mourning but finding excitement for this new spot :)
Hi there, I’m new to your channel. I don’t know that much about you. I don’t know you are living in a cold area or not. If so can you please give me a solution to keep alive indoor plants into a sun room bcz in my house I don’t have any heating system here. During winter How can I provide warmth to my indoor plants? Or should I remove them and keep them inside the main house?
If you’re going to convert the shed you should really move it, it chops your yard in half. If you ever want to put garden beds in it would block your view

Greenhouse cabinet would look great in the dark corner of the dining room, it'll bring light and make a feature of it
Please don't worry about all the wonderful talking your daughter is doing in your videos! Music 🎵🎶 to my ears, I love hearing it. So cute❤
Hehe it’s just the best, I love it too ❤️
Definitely turn the shed into a greenhouse! I don't think peel and stick tile will stick to the cement floor. I would paint it and get a rug.

Wow!! Wishing you a great and creative transition!! You never know how much junk one accumulates until you move. 😊
When you asked your puppies about how they felt about the new house they seemed so attentive and earnest to answer your question 😊 so cute! I hope you enjoy your new space ❤ you are allowed all of the good and hard emotions!
A Dutch door would be so cute in the shed!
Haha yes they are very involved in conversations 🤣❤️
omg the green house I would be crying too !!! 😔 The shed would be cute as a green house !! cute little vintage green house shed
No matter how you decide to paint the plant room, it’s going to look amazing!
Congrats on the new place!
Also, the fit is totally giving Blossom vibes 🌼✌🏽
lol I love that!

Thanks for watching :)
Awe love hearing Nora! ❤ can’t wait to see what you do to your new home
I would add a greenhouse onto the shed so you keep the potting space while gaining greenhouse space.Good luck!
Looking forward to the transformation of your new space! That bathroom window is going to be amazing!!😊
Yess I’m really excited for that!
Congrats on the move. Can't wait to see the bathroom/tub set up!
Yes paint the floor! It will be amazing, maybe an olive shade. Would match perfectly with the walls, the cabinets, the yuta carpet egt !😊
Yesss!!
Congratulations on the new home!! ❤
I have always loved new beginnings. You're going to have so much fun getting the new place together. I'm so jealous. I can't wait to see everything you do. Thank you for sharing 😊
Fresh beginnings are honestly very satisfying!! Thank you for watching ❤️
wow!! I can't believe your daughter is already a toddler!!
You have much potential to make this home a lovely planting home as well!!
Love hearing bab.sounds💗
💚🌿🌵🍀💚
Shed idea - polycarb uv stable roof and add some screened windows. Will be exciting to watch you grow in your new space.
Becca, could you just open one side of the shed and put an add on greenhouse? You could have potting shed in the shed part.
Great idea! I think a potting shed could be so cute, as well as useful! Then you can build your green house area exactly how you want it.
Such a good thought!! Thank you!
Love your hat ! 🤗

I’ve used Kilz as a pre paint solution to cover stains and it works pretty good. 🌺💚🙃
definately turn that shed into a little green house. You deserve that. It'll help you keep your sanity along this journey.
I’ve never clicked so fast! ❤
I moved from San Diego to Oklahoma about 10 years ago. Oklahoma has been good to me, and I think it’s a great place. My plants LOVE being outside in the summer. Welcome to Oklahoma!

I’m going to have to catch up. 🌺💚🙃
Love June’s journey….
It’s so fun!!
could you add a lean to style greenhouse to the back or side of the shed to create a little sunroom aspect to the shed?
You can always paint it one color and then if you want to check your board later, you can do that
One way to fix the cement floor is sanding it right back and putting some sort of sealer on top,not sure how much a cement sander is! Painted the cement is another cheaper and easier to clean up alternative. Love the house and that shed is so quaint,it would look great as a greenhouse! 💚💚🪴🌿
Ooh never knew you could sand cement!
Shed conversion is so doable. It would look cute with a patio extension leading into it
Love that idea!!
That’s an excellent idea!!
Ikea cabinet would be great in living room
Oh no the greenhouse 😢🌺💚🙃 AND your garden 😢🌺💚🙃
IKEA has great outdoor tiles with patterns and wooden vibe that are super affordable
Ohhhhhh! Bonus space with that shed! Nice! And why not put the Ikea cabinet back in the dining room/kitchen?
When u said let me know what u guys think 4 times in a row i was like am i glitching irl
Okay someone else mentioned this and now I’m scared to look 🤣 I must’ve fked up in editing hahahaha
I totally understand you being sad about your greenhouse. I'm sad about your greenhouse!
On the pulley system for plants I imagine like a pot hanger with hanging plants from it that is on a pulley. I feel like if you did solid platforms it would close in the space too much.
Becca, have you seen acid stained concrete or concrete stained floors? They look pretty wild! And also could look really cool with yellow walls.
Yesss it looks so cool!
Did you get rid of some plants?
Can't wait moving vlog❤
Wow oh wow, did I miss WHY you moved ? 🌺💚🙃
Her husband's occupation 😊
Thank you for your thoughts!!! Definitely giving me a lot to think about :)
It’s just me but I like to paint my walls with semigloss it’s much easier to keep clean. At least for me. 😊🌺💚🙃 Especially with children. 🌺💚🙃
I feel like I missed a chapter 😅 have you touched on why you’ve moved or is that something you’re not comfortable sharing?❤ Exiting to get to decorate from scratch though!
The baby joining the plants conversation is so cute :)
Is that sunroom heated?? I love it! But I'm so sad you didn't get to enjoy your greenhouse very long 🥲
Omg Becca the greeeeenhouse 😅 it’s ok it’s ok it’s ok lol
How are you going to keep your new plant room warm ? 🌺💚🙃
Im not sure yet!! I have a little greenhouse heater that I used in my old space, but it’ll really depend on how cold this room gets 😅
Why not a greenhouse extension on the shed? And make the shed to a pottingshed. In Sweden it would be cheaper than order odd glass measurments.( I have no idea of how permits works in US)
I vote greenhouse!!!!
🤗🤗
Please tell me that's where your beautiful greenhouse lives!? 😮😂
Im sorry u had to leave ur other room and plant greenhouse :( thats super hard
💚💚
💚
Convert into green house.
Oh I feel so sad that you had to move and leave your greenhouse 🥹🇨🇦
The current colour scheme is incredibly depressing. Once you work your magic, it'll be so much better!
I live in a small and dark flat myself and even though I love colour, I have found white paint to be my best friend; It not only reflects light and visually enlarges a space, but it makes plants and colourful accessories pop!
Oh sweetie, I can tell you are still mourning for your previous home. It'll all be fine, you are going to make that house into a paradise, you'll see! It's going to be bright, and green and completely you.
Hugs!
Isn’t it!? I’m really surprised it stayed this color for so long… yuck. White paint is the best! I believe we will be painting the house all white. It’s just such a nice base for decorating.
Thank you for the encouragement, I’m definitely still mourning but finding excitement for this new spot :)
Hi there,
I’m new to your channel. I don’t know that much about you. I don’t know you are living in a cold area or not. If so can you please give me a solution to keep alive indoor plants into a sun room bcz in my house I don’t have any heating system here.

You just built greenhouse and now you moved?
Yes
Why you have to move ?
Haha Becca I think you forgot to edit the “so anyway let me know what you guys think” 😂
Wht did i misslol
Losing all your Country living, so sad! Neighbors yechhhhh!
