Hi! It's a pleasure to learn vocabulary from your walk videos like this on the riverbank, it's really breathtaking and a beautiful spot to meditate. I like fruts like cherries, watermelon...etc but I eat a pear daily basis.
About the river, although I can swim well but I can't cross it cause it could take me downstream and perhaps never reach the other riverbank. Finally, Except the river "oum rabi" in Morocco, the other rivers run dry in the fall, from December to Mai, there's usually water running in the rivers.
    Vocabulary:
picturesque shores, macro shot, lakefront, riverbank, shoreline/coast, mansion, downstream, shrub = bush = brush, landscape, portrait, twig, waterfront, it's a prime place for bears, mosey on back, hang up my hat, hazy, visibility, it's moving at descent clip(please, is this sentence right?), undertow, photobomb.
    Take care!

      Hi! 😃😃 Thanks so much!
I hope all the rivers will be full this year!
"decent clip". It's the same word as if we talk about decent behaviour.

I can see the "cherries" are popular in many countries)). If we would have such benches in the picturesque places of our country I 'm sure they would be stolen. Hallöchen Mark!!!
    Awesome!!! Finally there's a new vocabulary walk!!!👏👏👏
Some big cherries 🍒 "again"!!! Yes - of course - for sure!!!🍳 555!!!😁
Where's Mr Jack, Mark???😍🐰 We haven't seen our furry friend for quite some time???😪😪😪
I've always loved the term "picturesque" (pittoresk in German)!!!
As a matter of fact, I'll never forget just a second of our AC-trip!!!
No video without a plane, eh???🛩
I'm not a good swimmer either!!!
"I would most certainly die!!!", I thought exactly the same words simultaneously with yous!!!
"Be a REAL healer!!!" Great pep talk for doctors!!!
It's a pity that conventional medicine lacks the holistic approach, if you ask me!!!
Taking macro shots is a lot of fun, having said that I always find it pretty hard to keep a steady hand!!!
These fall colours are really amazing!!!🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁
That's why autumn is my most favorite season of the year!!!
Do you also call the Canadian fall "Indian summer"???🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
What am I cut out for???🤔🤔🤔
Well, I'd say I'm cut out for useless thinking!!! My stupid brain is eagerly questioning every single thing 24/7!!!
Any idea how to stop it??? If so, just let me know??? 555!!!😁😁😁
With great anticipation, I'll let myself be surprised what kind of vocabulary you're going to teach us next time!!!
I can hardly wait for it!!!
Hanging out with you out there is always a great delight!!!
Canada's just the most beautiful place on earth!!!
Many thanks, Mark!!! I cannot say that often enough!!!
    Take care, my friend!!!😎👑😎👑😎🤝🇨🇦🇩🇪🙋‍♀️

      Gluten Morgen! 😃😃
Do people like painting cherries in Germany too? Or do they just paint Eiers?
I'll try to find Mr. Jack soon!
Yes, I think "Indian summer" just refers to an extended fall. In Alberta the summers usually end with the first snowfall (any day now). I'm actually surprised how warm it is still here at the end of October. Hopefully climate change is finally taking effect.
Useless thinking? I suffer from the same problem! 😁
Thanks for liking Canadian landscape! It's nice when it's not too windy!
Thanks for hanging out with me!
      Take care in Eierland! 😎

Hi Mark! The most impressive word for me today is mosey!
Thanks to your lesson,I was able to enhance my English vocabulary also this time.
You have been providing us subscribers quite a few lessons these days.
I can enjoy beautiful nature in BC with you.
You teach us a lot of words, phrases, phrasal verbs, and idioms on a whim. That shows your deep and wide knowledge about English. It may sounds a little bit funny, but I don't take your ability to be able to explain everything around you off the cuff for granted.I think you are really something.
I'm looking forward to getting the next lesson from you someday in the near future.

Hi Mark! I think that’s not a cherries but a bicycle 🚲. But since you said that’s a cherries and I trust you, then that a cherries - a frozen one🍒😜
What I like about the word picturesque aside from its meaning, is how it is pronounced. It has a striking accent that stressed out the clear lifelike of the picture. Besides, it has this “Frenchish” tone to it!🧑🏻‍🌾. Yeah, the place is very scenic! I love being in nature and I don’t mind sitting all by myself in that bench over there . Sometimes all we need is to leave the hustle and bustle behind and just absorb what nature has to offer.
Speaking of healing, I believe somehow nature has a big role in mending a person’s brokenness. Just like what a sunlight can do, right, it brightens our day and revives our low energy! Nature liven up our dull life! Personally I hope I can be a “nature” to someone. That I can brighten someone’s else day and give them a fresh start. That I can be a reason that someone has a genuine smiles on their faces. I’m not there yet I guess, but I’m trying. So it’s not time to hang up my hat. Maybe we should mosey on back a bit and reflect on what we can do to be a part of the world’s healing process. Just like what you said, we need a healers at this time .
Anyway, seriousness aside. I have a question/joke for you.😜Are you ready?
Why is Snow White and Prince Charming choose to love apple instead of cherries?😁🍎🍒
Because they live Happle-ly ever after! (🚶🏻‍♂️moonwalking )
Thank you for a wonderful stroll with you. Stay warm. Greetings from Pinesland🌻

      @MadEnglishTV  3 роки тому +1

      Hi! 😃😃
      Lol, you're right! Frozen cherries!
      Yes, picturesque sounds French!
I agree! Nature plays a huge role in our lives! I think people in BC are happier than Alberta because they have more nature intertwined in their communities.
All your friends are lucky to have you because you bring a healing touch to their lives!
      Great joke! 😁
Hope you have an awesome day in Pinesland!

Please don't hang up your hat on (?) macro. Not every single picture has to be a world press photo. I enjoy seeing the detail as-is. These pictures are great companions to the film footage. Now on to the word picturesque - is it only used when referring to a scenery, right? One wouldn't say it of a person? If someone is cut out to be photographed and they look in the pictures like a million dollars no matter what, are they "photogenic," or do you have another word for it?
