Incredible work as normal for the cookie master!🍪 PS: As your starter house has a very germany/swiss/austria vibe and I personally live in Switzerland, I had and idea for the interior of your house. You could build the work stations and the temporary storage room on the side of the house withouth the chimney and some kind of big sofa or an enchanting setup just before the chimney. In addition to that, you could add a little indor balcony on the second floor of the house (connected by the big window you built out of blackstone to an outdoor balcony) which would work as a bedroom! I think it would give your house the perfect mountain vibe! 🏔
unpopular opinion: unstripped acacia logs and acacia log blocks are really nice looking blocks, because they have a warm grey coloration, unlike all the stones which are cold-grey. Furthermore, birch wood, especially stripped birch logs, are really good too, their beige /sand colour goes very well with mangrove wood, sandstone and quarz and is overall really useful for yellow/beige/white color gradients. On the other hand, dark oak logs are practially useless, everything they do, spruce wood does better. I am also not a big fan og cherry tree wood. granted, Im not a fan of pink in general so it had a hard time grwoing on me in the first place. Cherry wood does have the most beautiful door/trap door design tho. whished that desing was available in other colors
I actually really like acacia for a particular purpose. Its the perfect color for italian villa style buildings. They look very similar to the clay tiles used for the roofs. Otherwise for general use I prefer spruce.

Maybe sometime soon you could excavate the trail ruins you found in one of the first episodes :) would be great to talk a bit more about the archeology stuff and then you could use the shards/pods for decoration. It would make a pretty cool outpost too! Love your videos❤

imo there's a secret wood type in minecraft and that's polished basalt. It seriously looks like a burnt up log. Use some various grey-scale concrete powders, dead corals, and some hidden campfires and you can make a forest fire area.
Planting a garden with one of every tree type is something us Brits have been doing for a long time. They are called Arboretum, and yes, it would be awesome to include one in your world 😊 Also, you forgot to mention that jungle and spruce saplings will grow if there is only 1...... Dark Oak is a whole other beast and will only grow in a 2X2!! 😂

Before the introduction of mangrove wood, it was birch. Now, I'm not entirely sure. I like all of the wood types, but it took a lot longer to warm up to dark oak and spruce. Dark oak because it's so freaking dark that it's hard to build with beyond accents. Spruce, meanwhile, is just a bleg color. It's only after I realized that barrels look like they're made of spruce that I was able to warm up to it. Oh, and only after I started watching you doing some good things with spruce. It doesn't look as bad in your videos as it does in my game for some reason.

"What even is that?" It's just a carpet of dried pine needles. Anyone who grew up around evergreens would recognize that, you have big evergreens, you have the needles covering the ground. Lots of folks like to use them as mulch so I like to use it as such for flower beds and such. Too bad I can't plant flowers on soul soil that stuff looks like potting soil.
i mean... do it.. make a raised frame from logs of the wood type and corners with the planks and plant all the trees... probably start with mangrove since it will give you the size of the restbof the frames for them to somewhat match... then make a path around the tree farm pepper it with bamboo thats my plan anyway, you can probably execute it better

Tree garden is ok, as long as it doesn't cover up what you did today. I believe an underground water, with coral fan garden would be lower and look nice against the fountain.
Coockie are really good to make bonemeal bro buying cookies from villagers and having a cookies fram that makes cookies into bonemeal works great wattles a chest into hopper into composter into hopper into chest auto cookies into bonemeal farm try it out wattles since you have cookies 🍪 huge farm you could have a ton of bonemeal having a lot of bonemeal opens up so many other farms and stuff you could have moss flowers and more
The best way to cut mangrove wood is starting from a top with a help of a hoe. Find a branch and go to the trunk, and then from a trunk to other branches. All branches grow diagonaly. And mangrove roots are the cheap fuel for a furnace.

I know it is most definitely off topic of "survival" and yet....could easily be, especially since you post other videos of such far reaching audiences and are still a bit...."on the edge". You are a content creator of such caliber that you could (in my opinion) get away with pushing a necessary boundary that is essential to...as you might suggest or use words like...."well....what if.....Minecraft would expand its influence of bringing notice to endangered species and push it to another necessary place of our lives. Take the biome blending a bit further and introduce something like...'climate changes from mining' => biome degradation brought on by mining fossil fuel...coal. The biomes - including those next door....would change." Definitely would introduce some political agenda to your posts but....as President Taft might say....."anything ambitious, worthwhile and necessary for everyone - that has not begun.....it shall never be gained."

Also, azalea wood goes amazingly with copper for steampunk style buildings, as well as warped wood!

I’m set up in a jungle this time and am only using the bamboo and jungle wood… just a spattering of oak. Let me tell you, it’s a struggle.
