I definitely agree with all 3 points. My lab is 18 months old now and I took him out on the hour every hour in the day and twice during the night each night, crate trained him and watched him like a hawk during the day and he was fully toilet trained in a week! I was amazed!
OMG I followed your tips and in less than 24 hours my new 8 week old Labrador puppy is now only going outside to the garden for toilet. I expect the odd accident, but it's amazing how quickly he picked up the routine from the tips in this video.
Thank you so much Will i followed your tips and even though my puppy was pretty good and telling me when she needed to go we have now had zero accidents what so ever and she is a mix between a fox-red and golden Labrador as her mum was a household pet being golden and her dad a gun-dog who was fox-red and she is only 15 weeks or 3 and a half months old so i am very grateful for these tips 😊❤
Hi Will, I have a four-month-old labrador puppy. We started going outside with him very late due to the need for vaccinations and a parasite infection. Because of this we had to teach him to go on the mats. Since about a month we can finally go out with him. As we both work 8 hours a day, we didn't want to leave the dog in a crate for so long and when we leave him alone in the house, we let him stay in the hallway and the laundry room. We are trying to teach him to go outside only, but the dog continues to go to the mats first . We also want to introduce crate training and combine this with potty training. I just don't know if the dog can sit in the crate for so long considering that his bladder can't stand so many hours without peeing anyway. Could you give us any advice on how we can solve this problem? We are completely at a loss as to where to start. When we come home we always give him plenty of time to walk and play. We also attend lessons at the dog school. However, we don't know if the crate training can be used in our case to help us with potty training because of our work (I can’t imagine leaving him in a crate for such a long time)..
Thank you...I just got a 3 week lab today...He sleeps a lot and loves to chew especially my nose and fingers. My challenge is that he always walks as if he needs to potty... There is a lot of shake with his fries when he walks (it melts my heart❤)😊
